I have an Oppo Find X2 Neo 5G handset and I have full 5G signal where I live. The reason for joining ID mobile was because of the good 5G network where I live, but my handset cannot get 5G and is always on 4G! I contacted customer support who said it should work but nothing since. Any ideas or do I have to leave ID mobile and go with Three?

Dear iD Mobile, I have an ongoing complaint which involves very poor connectivity on my telephone.  Earlier today, a complaints agent telephoned me to discuss my complaint and what can be done to rectify it -- one of my options was a new SIM, to see if my current SIM is the cause of my issues.I have now received an email from DPD / Currys tonight stating that an order is arriving.  After seeing my details in the enclosed link, I panicked and assumed I was the victim of a fraudulent Currys order.  However, after a phone call (where the phone kept beeping, like someone was pressing numbers) and a web chat, I figured out it was iD Mobile. The email states that the package is being sent to my old address.  Therefore, I will not be in receipt of my new SIM.  I am confused as to how this mistake has been made, as I updated my address in November.  This is also a mild annoyance, as now I will not be able to see if my current SIM is the cause of my issues.iD Mobile will now need to get another

Insterted the SIM and downloaded the app, tried to register and get a ‘oops the details you entered are incorrect’ try to reset with forgot usernam password and get a ‘something wasnt quite right’ message and can do nothing else Very annoying, I know when i was born, I know my name. Any help greatfully received

I purchased the S22 ultra back in November where there was an offer of £150 extra on top of trade in value.I have received the £5 for my trade in device, but still havent received the £150. All my emails are being ignored I only purchased the mobile through ID mobile on a contract for the £150 bonus payment on my trade in deviceSeen as my emails are being ignored and live chat arent very helpful, what can I try next? (As I will not be dropping this issue)It also seems Im not the only one who has had this issue, seems ID mobile need a better way of honoring this deal (SEEN AS ITS STILL SHOWING AS AN OFFER WHEN YOU TAKE OUT A CONTRACT ON THE S22 ULTRA)

Hi Everyone,I am hoping someone here will be able to help me. I have a Pixel 4a (5G). Wherever it connects to a 5g network I have issues with making phone calls and network drop out. I wanted to turn off the 5g part and stick with 4g which seems to work seamlessly.I have googled how to turn of the 5g but all of the guides show options in the menu that I cannot see. It seems as though ID have hidden some of the options.Any help will be gratefully received.All the bestDaniel 

I pay for my daughter’s phone, on which she gets 5GB data a month. For emergencies I enabled a £5 extra usage cap. Every month she uses all 5GB plus the cap. I’ve looked at the bills and I get 5120 MB included. She has used 5170 MB and that’s charged at £5. So I’m paying £5 for 50 megabytes! That’s what, a couple of songs?! I ‘assumed’ (stupid me) that the extras would be charged at a reasonable rate. As it is, I’m paying £5 extra to ID every month for effectively nothing. I have set the cap to zero and recommend other users do the same. (I am in a contract, title should say ‘above contract’ or something)PS if you’re wondering why I’m called Fred Bloggs it’s because it’s the only name I could get to work - I put a dozen names in the registration box and every one said ‘Your username contains restricted text’ but didn’t tell me why - I was just using letters, or letters and numbers. Rant over, thanks!

My phones screen is broken and my phone is now completely unusable. I have never done this before, I’m wondering how will I be able to get a new phone but keep my old plan?

My contract ends on the 27/1/23 I don’t want it to auto renew, will it do this ? When it ends I want ti move to a new company but keep my number also. Please can I have some help with this. 

Hi I want to upgrade to the S22 ultra but there are no 256gb models in stock, do you know if these are due back soon?or is it possible to take the plan offered for the 256gb model on the 128gb version instead?I’ve tried to contact via chat but have only received unhelpful automated responses.

Having logged in to the ID Mobile website successfully and set up my account, I cannot log in to the ID Mobile app on either of my iOS devices. Despite the same username and password working successfully when logging in to the website, the ID Mobile app keeps giving an “incorrect username/password” error. Why would the username be accepted by the website but rejected by the app? Do I need to change my password in order for the app to work?

I took out a phone/data contract with ID on 30 December. Had I known it was impossible to speak to someone regarding issues moving my existing number over to them I wouldn’t have taken out the contract.The number should have been moved on 4 January. And to add insult to injury even the live chat link doesn't work.

after transferring my number to ID it is still sending text messages from the new number. my ID account says it’s completed transferring my number but this clearly isn’t he case. How can I fix this?

Afternoon all,I am trying to request an invoice or copy of purchase for my recent 2 year contract with iPhone 14, however the chap on Live Chat refused to provide me with this, and says a proof of purchase is enough, however the likes of Apple don’t take this as gospel and want a copy of the receipt or invoice or order details.Why is it so difficult to get a copy of the invoice/receipt/order details from my original purchase in addition to the Proof Of Purchase document. Is anyone at ID Mobile able to help? RegardsTom

I am not an ID mobile customer.I have just received a  final demand notice letter for an account that has been set up in my name.There seems to be no phone number to contact regarding this, no email address, and your Live Chat service is eternally busy.  

I was looking at the Wi-Fi Calling supported handsets list and can see that the Galaxy A5 from 2017 is on it as well as some other Galaxy models from the same year, but not the J7. The only J series I can see on that list are from 2018.  The functionality is enabled on the handset but it does not seem to be working. Is there any chance that the J7 from 2017 would be added as supported and will work?Why is this feature even tied to a brand/model? None of the previous carriers I have used had any such lists or restrictions. As long as the device supported the feature it would just work, so what is up with ID restricting it by model?  

I have been trying to change my Direct Debit details via My Billing in my account, it just comes up ‘ SelfCare is temporarily unavailable ‘ it has been like this for several days now. Is this liable to be sorted soon or how else can I change my Direct Debit ?
