Porting shambles

Hi I requested my number to be ported over to ID Mobile, This was due to happen on Monday 11th December.  At lunchtime on 11th my old sim card went dead, this was a promising step in the transfer happening.  It then got late on Monday and my old number had never appeared on my new sim.  Long story short my number still hasn’t been ported! It’s now been 5 days without my number and not one person and ID gives a s**t.  I have had 2 complaints raised and i have not heard a thing from anyone.  When i contact ID on the live chat i just get told the same thing as it appears many people on here get told and that that they are waiting for ‘files to be exchanged’  I have checked with my old provider who confirms the number has been fully ported out of their system and therefor the issue is solely with ID.  When i contact live chat for an update all they do is copy and paste the same message from monday and supply absolutely no update to the situation at all.  I’m now unable to access any of my

phone not delivered

I ordered a Google pixel 7a on the 30th November I have received my contact through the post but no phone what do I do does this mean my phone will be delivered soon I've had no other email to keep me in the loop

New SIM not working

I’ve got a new account with ID mobile.When I put the SIM into my phone it says No SIM avaialable.I’ve tried another phone and it says Invalid SIM.Both handsets are unlocked.I’ve cleaned the SIM and put the phone in airplane mode for 30 seconds and also turned the handset off and on again.  I think I’ve got a SIM that isn’t working - can you send me a new one please?

Moved to area with no signal

I moved house three weeks ago and am unable to use my iD Mobile at our new home as the signal is too weak.  Calls keep breaking up.  I am 13 months into a 24 month contract.  Is it possible to terminate the contract early or will I be forced to continue paying for the remaining 11 months?I need to transfer my telephone number ot another SIM so that I can receive incoming calls.  I have been trying to get a PAC from iD Mobile for two days but neither the web site nor the mobile app is working.Also, if I am forced to pay for the remainder of my contract I would like to be able to use its unlimited data allowance when I am away from home.  If I ever get a PAC will I still be able to use my iD Mobile data?

network back on but issue making calls

Ive lacked network all day. This problem is now fixed. I can receive text messages etc and my phone now shows to have network However I can’t make or receive any calls and I can’t listen to my voicemailNo help from customer service live chat as it states they are too busy and also they close at 8pmAnyone in the same boat?

Data Usage not Accurate on ID App

Hello,  Strange one here, I have used around 40GB of data, and I know this due to the iPhone usage, The app will sometimes show a large amount of data, then nothing, and then reset to 50mb or so.  I have no changed billing cycle just the ID app appears to be showing the wrong usage.

wifi calling not working

I using iphone 12 pro, wifi calling activated.  in my office, i have one line signal, so, very poor signal, i have connected  to the company wifi, all internet connection working well on wifi, no vpn or proxy. I can t call anymore, try make the call and nothing happen Someone else has called me , he told me that is ringing in his phone but my phone do not show any ring, no call on my phone

£45 Currys voucher

I have still not been sent my voucher, account was opened on 4th June! Emailed uk-idmobile@awin.com on 19th September and they have still not resolved this. I have emailed multiple times and not got anywhere. Does anyone have details of someone I can actually speak to, so that I can get what is owed to me. I would not have moved to idmobile had it not been for this offer.

Cant Register/Login to the ID mobile app - Tried live chat no help

Hi there, when I try to register or login for the ID mobile app it asks for MOBILE NUMBERLASTNAMEAND YEAR OF BIRTH When i enter these CORRECTLY it says “Oops, the details you've entered are incorrect. Please try again.” Live chat cant even get it working so what do i do ?

Just had android update and SIM locked - need PUK

After an android update tonight, the phone refused to accept my pin (although it accepts the phone on the restart or shut down option) and after three attempts has locked my phone. Can you provide a PUK? Thanks.

Number has not been ported from EE

My old mobile number was due to be ported from EE to iD Mobile on 27/10/2023 using the PAC code I was given by EE. My number was disconnected from EE at around midday on the 27th but my number still hasn’t been ported over to my iD SIM.I’ve contacted EE’s MNP team who say the number ported has been processed on their end but whenever I speak to iD’s live chat, they keep saying the same thing; that “All number transfers require the original network to supply a file to the new network. This file has not been supplied which is completely outside of our control”.I need this to be sorted ASAP.

Old number has not switched to my ID SIM

I requested the switch from EE on 25/10 and I was told it would happen on 27/10 (yesterday). My number is still active on my old SIM. I see there are delays switching from O2. Is this also the case with other networks?

samsung s23 ultra poor signal

Hi all, I have the Samsung galaxy s23 ultra and I am struggling with signal. WiFi calling is poor at home. I've checked the reception in area for ID and they are undergoing work on a mast which has been going on for a long while and no sign of when this will be completed. Any help would be really grateful as I am truly struggling.

NO SERVICE WHEN INSTERTING SIM CARD AND PHONE NUMBER NOT REGCONISED

I signed a contract today and received my ID sim card. Inserted the sim card to my phone, and NO SERVICE. Tried everything including switch on/off, airplane mode, clean the sim, use another device, check coverage, manual selection of provider etc, nothing worked!!It is exhausted because I already requested my PAC from my previous provider and they will charge me per day.Also went to ID app to register my account, phone number not recognised.Went to ID web page to switch phone number, entered all correct information and it kept saying Error- Issue with the information you provided. Jesus!!Are they going to reimburse me the bill that I have to pay my old provider until the switch is completed???

Can't update from incorrect SIM-only deal to 24-month contact

Morning! I’ve been a customer for several years, with my recent 24-month contract coming to an end. I recently moved to a cheap SIM-only deal to tide me over until the Pixel 8 Pro announcement. However, it seems my intended 30-day SIM was erroneously processed as a 12 month contract, leaving me unable to upgrade with iD as intended (and take advantage of the preorder deal) An operative told me on Saturday it would be rolled back within 24 hours. This hasn’t happened. Now I’ve been told it could be a further 48 hours while the technical team look into it. Based on my recent experiences, I have little confidence this will happen.I’d really appreciate faster progress with this. I want to stay - and pay iD more money!

iMessage not activating after number port

I’ve read various threads here and haven’t found a solution. Tried all the tips on resetting network settings, restart phone, hard reset, disabling enabling iMessage/FaceTime, signing in/out iCloud, checking the phone number settings, removing/inserting sim, resetting on apple’s site etc etc etcNothing has worked. I want to reach out to id mobile but there’s not a single place I can find on the website that allows me to do that. It’s just the forums and chat bot that doesn’t put you through to an advisor.From Apple support:It might take up to 24 hours for your carrier to verify your phone number with Apple. Contact your carrier to make sure that you can send and receive SMS messages and wait up to 24 hours after you try the troubleshooting steps above. So it’s possible that it’s not been verified yet. Would love to contact iD but don’t see an option for it.

Can't receive calls from Lebara or Vodafone

Hi, I can't receive calls from any Vodafone or a Vodafone MVNO network.  The caller gets a message saying the number is unavailable.  Has anyone else had this problem?  My fiance ported from Lyca to Vodafone on Monday and can no longer call me.  Any advice would be appreciated.   Scott

No data and minimal signal for 10 days

Hi,Both myself and my mum have had zero data (apart from in the middle of the night) for the last 10 days. General phone signal has also been poor.Three suggest masts in the local area are being worked on but we’re both currently paying for a service we’re not receiving. To make matters worse I’m currently in the process of a house move and don’t have Wifi to fall back on!What are my options? My mum is on a rolling 30 day contract but I’m in the middle of a 24 month contract.Many thanks

Why is my unlimited data usage wrong

I’ve had my unlimited SIM for a month and yet the data usage is showing as only 1.8GB on the website. I know that I’ve used much more - typically I’ve been using over 100GB which is why I chose the unlimited SIM.Not being able to see an accurate usage is going to make it impossible when I travel to figure out how much roaming data I’ve used.Why is the usage shown not accurate? I’ve no idea how a SIM with limited data is going to know when it’s run out if the figures are so far out.

HelloI’ve had a couple of issues where I’ve been cut off mid call with this message “Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number”. It happened once a few months ago when I was speaking to an emergency helpline (really not great) and it just happened again today and I was talking to a government agency (also not great timing). The only thing I can think of is I think they were both 0800 numbers. Is there an issue or setting around 0800 numbers in my account? I can see the other people have also had similar issues.
