My IPhone 12 is a few weeks old and is getting very hot. I have  been on to Apple and they say nothing is wrong. Any ideas of what to do please

Hi everyone.  I’m having an issue with data roaming abroad. I’ve tried multiple times with live chat to get it resolved, been promised a ticket raised and a response within 24hrs. That hasn’t happened.  I have an iPhone 14 pro max running the latest apple software. My calls, text and data work fine in the UK. When abroad I can call and text but no data. I have removed the sim and cleaned it, I’ve reset the network settings on my phone. Nothing has worked. As I travel around Europe a lot for work this is extremely disruptive for me.  Data roaming is switched on in the ID app and on the iphone. When I’m abroad I get a message saying could not active cellular data network. I normally have full signal bars and 4G showing available.  I also have plenty of data in my allowance. So far I’ve been to Greece and Italy with the same issues.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Best

Hi, One of the previous topics is closed with no resolution. I am facing issues while in India. Am able to recieve OTP, but calls cannot be connected even if using +44 prefix. I need the standard incoming calls to work. What is the problem here?

I ordered my new Sim Card 27th March 2024 and it has not arrived which has been 5 working days ago. 

My sim doesn't work i received a temporary number while my usual number was swapped over to id mobile but it doesn't work "unknown number" is what is connected to my id sim in my settings, my number was scheduled to switch over today and it hasn't I tried all the options it says to try and nothing is working

Hi, I have a new contract with ID and the sim isn’t working coming up with “sim failure”. It is a new phone I got with the id mobile contract. Another compatible sim works in the phone so not the phone that’s the problem. I have restarted and tried cleaning the sim, still nothing. Does it need activating? Thanks sarahnuttall

Ok let’s see if this plummets to the bottom of the forum list. I have moved over from EE, I provided ID with my PAC and the transfer date chosen was 28/05. I have the text message confirming this date, however we are now 4 days later and my number has not transferred. I have attempted to re-enter my pac and the website considers this an ID to ID number transfer and refuses to accept the change (so it’s somewhere in the system). I have even signed up with for this account using my old EE number and it again considers it an ID phone number. Could an admin re-attempt the transfer and sort this mess out? Thanks

Ported today. Text from ID saying success but no connection.  ID text says may need to update settings but no guidance given on site.  Assume I’m not the first person to run into this?

I recently came out of contract & changed my plan to SIM only ((£6 monthly). I am still being billed contract price of £13.07. How do I get this to change?

Hi. My local mast (BH20 4SN) providing 5G coverage manages 30-150mbps download (semi rural town of 6000 people). If i travel 10 miles to a very populated area i can get 800mbps.Why?Is this an issue with the equipment on the mast not being capable? Would be interested to know. When i signed up with ID for 5G i was expecting far superior speeds. My local mast is not meeting expectations.Welcome comments.

Hello We are being blighted by a problem with calls at the moment . My wife and I both, as well as plenty of others in the village .This started a couple of weeks ago .The problem is as follows :-Make a call, which connects, then after about 20 seconds or so, it goes dead for about 5 to 10 seconds .?It will then carry on doig this for the duration of the call. The other side of the call also hears the drop outs as well.I live about 500m from the tower .Cell tower eNB ID 9314 (Macro)- LTEMCC/MNC/Region is 234/20/5268.I am in cell 1 cell no 2384385.As mentioned, others in the Village also experience this issue . they are on a mix of different providers.The tower is owned by Three I believe.Can someone please raise a fault with Three ? RegardsJohn

Hi I upgraded earlier before 6pm - to a new phone the email said processing order - they haven't taken any payment yet (upfront cost) now they've sent me an email to call them. Do you think it's to do with the unable to pay through the app/website? If it is what do I do when I call them? As I need the phone delivered before Thursday. But if I can't pay for it what do I do? When it isn't my fault? If that is the issue? I'm autistic and I'm panicking about calling them tomorrow now. Thankyou.

Hello,I have deactivated;‘Adult Content Filter’ in my ID Mobile online account. Safe Search in my Google account by selecting ‘Off’ and saving the change.A selection of websites (picture/adult/binocular manufacturer!) remain inaccessible showing blank screens and ‘err…...’ messages when opened. When I turn on a VPN connection they all work as expected - what is wrong?I am using my ID Mobile SIM in a 5G router (MC801A) for home broadband. Thanks,
