I moved my number to iD. Calls is OK, some SMS is OK but SMS from some companies like Bank didn’t received. I can’t to install some APPs without received SMS. Somebody can help me?

I have started as a new iD Mobile customer today. A problem I immediately seem to have is that my One Time Passcodes (as required by banks) are not coming through. Please advise!!Thanks, Mark

Hi. I purchased  an id pay monthly sim to use in my phone just whilst I was away on holiday in june. I cancelled  it when I got back. Can I re inact this sim (which is still in my duel sim phone) to use again when I am away in September  or will I need to apply and start again. If I can re use it, can anyone tell me what I need to do.Thankyou

Since January my handset has been causing problems and not functioning right first from January I've never been able to access any data as the signal strength out of my house is so weak the handset couldn't attach to any network I spent weeks n hours on line doing the trolley shooting and all the stuff live chat recommended thrn from February my handset was overheating it melted a leatherette jacket pocket and kept switching off due to overheating (I was running minimal apps) and the phone was not kept in hpt environments weather was actually freezing when phone started overheating! Overheating got progressively worse until in June phone became totally unusable I've tried send complaints I've emailed I've spoke to live chat but noone is responding professionally I just kept getting told try trouble shoot tips try switch off etc etc I'm using the sim in another phone but still not able to access any data the signal strength of 1d all over bradford is atrocious there's nowhere it connect

Good Morning, I have made a new contract with ID and have also an existing contract. Can I just insert my existing sim to my new phone and start using? Do I need to cancel the existing contract? My existing mobile number will be automatically imported to my new phone contract?

Both my husband and I have never had a problem with I'd and weve been with them from day 1. Now we have no signal at all in the PA2 Area of Paisley. This has been since 5G has been switched on. This is unacceptable as I'm paying for 2 contracts and neither are working. June. 

I took out a contract with ID mobile a few weeks ago, asking to port over my existing phone number, all went through ok, got my new phone and sim and started using it thinking everything had transferred over. I was then contacted by my previous provider with a bill, I contacted them and explained I’d cancelled and moved to ID mobile, they said I hadn’t posted my number over. Gave me a pac code which I then gave to ID mobile and selected the 27th as a date to move over. My phone went off about 3pm on 27th and is still not working so it seems EE have cut me off and ID mobile haven’t completed the process of porting my number over. Anyone else had this issue? How long should it take? Thanks

Hi,Tried to register, received the 8-digit security code, clicked submit but came up with error message, now every time I retry it comes up with “Oops, the details you’ve entered are incorrect. Please try again”!Yes, I have changed Browsers and allowed all cookies, and the information inputted was correct, used a screenshot to confirm it.Tried Chat, (yes, I actually got through!) for a simple reset and was informed,“Nobuhle: Thank you for your patience. I have managed to send off the request to our technical team and they will provide an update on the event raised. Please kindly allow a timescale of 48 hours for our team to action the request.” Now that was over 5 days ago, nothing has changed!Is there anybody that can actually resolve this? 

A fraudulent account with iD mobile has been set up on my name and address. I have received a demand for payment letter Red RPREA, threatening with a debt collection agency.There is no clear contact point process from iD phones how to resolve this. Pls advise.

My Upgrade is due on 10 August and my contract expires on Oct 10th.  Can I switch to an iD Sim Only on 10th Aug?

Hi I would like to cancel my contract please. I took out a new contract on 19/07/23 and have tried to persist with sketchy network coverage. Even swapping my SIM which worked for about three hours but then lost signal again. This is not acceptable and I need to use my phone for work.I am within my 14 days and have attended the Currys store I purchased it from but they said that because I have opened the box and used the device I have to contact ID direct. This makes no sense because how do you know that it's not working unless you switch the thing on. It even says that if purchased from Currys you can return it to them, but they are saying I need to go to ID as they can't process it as the box was opened !!??Can someone please message me so that I can start the cancellation process within the 14 days as specified in your terms and conditions.Many thanks.

I have been with iD Mobile for nearly 5 years and each year or time I’m eligible I have been able to upgrade to a newer model, that is until this time.  I am being offered not only older models of my current handset, but being asked to pay upfront charges.   having looked at the website new customers are being offered the latest iPhone models, as well as better bundles for lower prices than I am currently paying! When I spoke to a sales/customer service operative, he was incredibly unhelpful and didn’t seem to care at all, he didn’t even ask for any of my details or even attempt to check and see if he could get a better offer for me, and was entirely unfazed that I may leave iD Mobile.   it seems totally ridiculous that a company would offer worse deals to their customers who have been loyal…they are happy to bring new customers in but once you’re in they don’t care in the slightest!   

I rang Id mobile to cancel my contract 1 day after I started with them as the signal was terrible in my area. I told them I have 14 days cooling off period to cancel and was told to get a new PAC code to move to my new network. I got a bill today for the full amount of the contract even though I cancelled within 14 days. Could someone contact me to sort this problem out please. 

I’m currently away in Bulgaria where we have a holiday home. We spend the summer over here but most of the year we are at our UK house. I’d like to join ID mobile as I’m having roaming issues with my current UK network O2 as they’ve stopped using Vivacom as a roaming partner and are forcing me to use Yettel which has terrible signal in the village where our house is. This isn’t as much of an issue for data as such as I have good internet so I’m not reliant on the data really. It’s more a pain that I can’t make or receive calls reliably. I believe ID use vivacom so I’d rather switch but I’m not returning to the UK yet. My question is that if I order a SIM and have it sent over to me can I activate it whilst abroad?

Hi, Am unable to log into portal & app - I see this is a common problem.I was previously an ID customer years ago then left,  now I've returned.The website and app advise my original email address is used/ taken so I've tried an alternative email but it won't let me register. I've tried what-is-my-username by entering my (now PAC'd) phone number,  my last name,  and birth year - that page then errors again and again.Is this because ID has known me and my number before? How do I get my ancient details removed so I can access the app? I'm even getting emails telling me to use the app to reset my PIN....!Thanks

Id boasts of free roaming. Is this because it is actually impossible to use the phone abroad? Recently I was in Hamburg and hoped to find my way around using Google Maps but there was no signal. Other people in the group with different phones were fine.  If it doesn’t work in Hamburg what are the chances of it working in Bishkek?  

Hi everyone,I have seen a number of questions relating to this similar issue and want to get it resolved asap please.I have just upgraded from a iPhone 12 Pro to and iPhone 14 Pro, and after swapping my sim card (which worked perfectly fine in my 12) my iMessage & FaceTime are now defaulting to my email address opposed to my mobile number. When attempting to select my number as the default iMessage/FaceTime sender and receiver, I am greeted with the message that activation was unsuccessful. I can see that based on other people’s experiences as well as my own, this seems like an ID Mobile sim issue and not an Apple one however unsure how my sim can work on one device and not the other?I have attempted all the suggested resolutions on other threads and can confirm that my number has been the same for years - my iD Mobile number only linked to my iPhone 14 device I have reset my network settings and the same number is still there however will not connect to my iMessage/FaceTime. My Samsung galaxy A53s was delivered without a charging plug in the box? The cable has two phone ends so I cannot plug into my old charger plug which has a USB end. Please can you end me a charging plug that will fit the cable provided in the box.
