Hi. My 2 year phone/sim contract with idmobile is coming ro an end and I'm switching to a monthly, sim-only plan.  I've been sent a new sim. My question is do I need to use that sim or can I just carry on using my old one?Thanks

Hi, can anyone help me please;  I have recently upgraded my phone (01.04.21) and I got my number transferred over from EE to iD which I was advised was successful on Friday. Since Thursday I have been unable to send text messages without them failing on my phone.  I have signal and therefore coverage and my partner ends up receiving about 4 texts from me but my phone says it failed to send. Where as my mum doesn’t receive anything. I can send iMessage and WhatsApp.  I have restarted the phone and I took the sim out on Friday and put it back in but I am at a loss for ideas now. 

Why are you continuing to email me and send me a statement for an account/contract that I cancelled the day after I took it out? i returned the iPhone to Carphone warehouse and they refunded my upfront payment and told me the contract was cancelled and that the number would migrate to a pay as you go. Not that I want it as I do not want anything to do with your crap company and it’s crap customer service. i have closed my other idmobile account and ported my number to virgin Mobile so please can you look at your system and close out the account that I cancelled acc no [b]REMOVED ACCOUNT NUMBER[/b]

For the last week most calls I try to make result in the message 'we have been unable to connect your call.' There have been different 'voices' giving this message so should I assume the message is from the network the number I am calling is on? I still seem to be able to make calls to people already in my contacts. I have tried adding any new numbers to my contacts first but it made no difference. I am working from home and need to be able to make calls. 

I ordered my phone on the 17/07/20 it was delivered the next day I also got my first bill through saying I need to pay £50 by 31/07/20 why am I being charged so soon and line rental for a month when I will be paying another bill on the 18/08/20?!

Hi for the last few days I have been having problems with my signal either just one bar or no signal at all my son is also having the same problem and other family members too, prior to this we all never had a problem with our signal strength. Postcode Ne289qy

I would like to move to another provider ASAP as signal is rubbish here. My contract ends 30th May how and when should I do this to avoid incurring cancellation fees/ termination charges etc

i have identified through a credit reference agency: A fraudulent mobile contract was created in my name:Start date Feb 2016, default date was October 2016, Settled November 2020. I have never had any contract or mobile phone with IDmobile. I’ve lost my sim and don’t know my number but need it to pay my outstanding bill. How do I find out what my number was as you need it for all automated services and the call centre is closed..

My brother died a few weeks ago. I am organising his things and I have seen that he was a customer of ID Mobile, and he pays £20 every month for “unlimited use of the internet and phone calls” for when he went abroad. I would like to keep this arrangement with ID Mobile for myself. Can you change my brother’s name to mine, and his bank account to mine, so that I can keep the same number and the contract details the same? IMany thanks. 

I’m unable to reply to a text from Barclays checking whether a transaction is fraud or not with a simple Y or N. It keeps stating failure to send. Tried raising this on live chat and got nowhere.Please advise

I don't receive sms from hmrc, mobile banking, whatsapp...it is the One-time password messages that I am not receiving from different services.

I bought 1 sim only contract only to receive two different SIM cards with different mobile numbers. I have just received two direct debit set up letters for the two sims. I have tried getting this sorted on the live chat but it did not go anywhere. How can this be resolved as I will not be paying for two contracts I dont need.

On Friday afternoon 26/03/2021 I used the automated process to move my number from O2 to ID. It was a little flaky and took a number of attempts and I’m still not sure it was successful. How do I confirm it has been received and is being processed. ThanksKaren

It took the penny payment after that it says timed out we done it very fast so it's not us we checked everything we also changed device we tried it on mobile then pc neither is workingAlso it keeps asking for my id number when trying to pay by phone I don't have one because I'm brand new it's doing my head in now

is 5g happening any time soon or still no information  Also my 4g is amazing way better then my actual Internet but when I set up a hot spot my data speed goes through the floor is there a way to stop that 

If I buy a new sim card, could I delay its activation? If so, by how long? I am asking because I found a deal I like from iD Mobile and I don’t want it to disappear but I’ll only be able to start paying for it after 3 months.

Hello. My contract ended in July 2020 and I have been paying the same amount that I paid for the last 2 years. When I looked under ‘change my plan’ I saw that I could have been paying as little as £6 for double the amount of data and unlimited calls and texts. Why was the amount I was being billed not changed automatically? I would like to request a refund for this amount as I have paid off the phone. Please let me know how this can happen. Thank you.
