Hi, I saw this discussion but am still not clear.  My phone, the Oppo Find X2 Pro, is 5G compatible but not listed in the iD 5G handsets.  When I signed up with iD I checked and was told that compatible handsets would get 5G.  So far I have never seen the 5G symbol appear, and 5G is not listed under Preferred network type in the phone settings.  Before I pick this up with Oppo, can anyone confirm whether they are getting 5G from iD on the Oppo Find X2 Pro, whether the SIM/network drives the 5G option availability in the phone settings, or should it be there anyway, and it is missing because of a phone issue?  Thanks

My phone has completely broken so think my only option is to buy out of contract early and then take out new contract. Is this the only option?

Few strange things this week.I have just realised that I cannot call landlines. I suspect that it may have been impacting incoming landline calls also for at least a week.I have wifi calling enabled and tried airplane mode to force use of WiFi calling but calls disconnect on first ring.I did also have a call on Monday from a stranger saying they had 2 missed calls from me on their mobile but I had no outgoing calls to them. Any idea what I can do to correct this?

I have a Doro 8080. It is not on the list of known working devices for WiFi calling and is not an option in Android settings. Can this phone be added to the list of approved devices?It is also a bit flaky especially on 4G. Sometimes even with a good mobile signal the call appears to dial out but there is no tone and the call is not made. Other times with a poor mobile signal it comes up with a message saying I should connect to WiFi even when I am at home and connected with a strong WiFi signal.I think what is happening is that sometimes the phone wants to use WiFi or VoLTE but ID Mobile is incapable of handling either type of call on this phone. As there is no access to a WiFi calling setting it causes calls to fail but I am unable to disable it from trying. Mobile signal is weak to intermittent where I live to compound matters.  

I have an old iPhone 5s and also a 2021 iPhone - I use the older phone as my everyday phone but when there are network issues I’d like to make wi-fi calls using the newer phone.Can I simply swap the SIM from one phone to the other?In theory and in principle I expect the answer to be ‘yes’ but a few years ago, when I was with ‘3’ and did a similar thing [between two android phones] they blocked the SIM, citing something about protecting me in case I’d had my phone stolen…… It caused me a lot of stress at the time as I was on a road trip and suddenly had lost my means of communication with friends and work…..I’d like a definitive answer before I risk the same outcome.Many thanks. 

hi im having some issues upgrading from sim to phone contract online everytime i try to register it keeps saying account details wrong or personal details wrong ive contaced live chat twice no help anyone got any solotuions to this thanks

I received 2 emails. The first one was stating that they received my order and they would be processing it. The second email came around 2 hours later that had said -   "We have now processed your order. You will receive an update with tracking details once it has been dispatchedWe hope you enjoy your purchase.Kind Regards,The iD Team"Am I correct in thinking that everything has gone through fine and I should expect my phone to be delivered on the next working day? I am a little confused so any advice would be very grateful and appreciated. 

Hi everyone 👋🏼  I’m travelling to Mexico, and as my phone is showing as unlocked and is a compatible handset, I was planning to get an esim (using the nomad app), so that I can have data whilst there and not have another number for the trip etc.  However, when searching to triple check eligibility, I saw that maybe I can’t get an esim with ID mobile even though I have an iPhone 13, is this correct?  As I’m travelling alone I’d prefer to be able to keep tracking services, maps and Uber usable, but it looks like roaming will cost me!  thanks, Sarah

My contract ended on the 23rd February 2022. And I have requested a pac to switch to a new network provider. but my final bill shows I am in credit so I was wondering how I can get that refunded. Thank you. 

I have been victim of identity theft and someone has set an account up with I’d mobile. this has made me have to register my details to speak with someone- which incidentally I am not overjoyed about. can someone get in touch please

I started to use ID today, the SIM card arrived today but the bill started 4 days ago, I mean that the bill started when I ordered online on the day 16 of February 2022 and I don't know what is happened with that 4 days that I don't have the SIM with me and I didn't use it at all ... Is 4 days that I have to pay for but never used. I'm confused can someone help. Thanks

So I wanted to know about the one month, sim only plans. Do you continue to pay the same amount after that one month or do you jst stop getting further data, text and minutes allowance? 

I'm currently in Gran Canaria.I have used almost 15 gigabytes of my 100 gigabytes plan costing £17 a month. Is there a Fair Usage policy ? I have had no contact to say I have used all my fair usage allowance. I don't want to continue using data only to be hit by a £2.50 per gigabyte bill. I have set my extra charge limit to zero. Thanks. 

Hello , i order online a Sim with one month plan unlimited data , text and minutes on 4 Jan ,and today i recive email with ACC No. Pin and ID Phone No. but the sim card didn't arrive.

I upgraded my samsung last week and the guy in Currys set it all up - fine, all data transferred to new phone. When I got home I found a new sim card in the paperwork package with the barcode that is listed on my new phone invoice. Has he put the old sim card in my new phone? Does it matter? Should I activate the new sim?

I recently cancelled ID Mobile contract and then not releasing then purchasing a new ID Mobile contract bought from Carphone warehouse. PAC & STAC codes only work when switching from other networks .How do keep number on same network on Same network ID Mobile ????

Hi, I made a new order today for an iPhone 13 but I need to cancel the order. I have tried ringing and using the live chat, the live chat tells me they are busy and to use the id mobile app but that is the only way I can get in touch with you. Your customer service is so frustrating.

Morning all,  2 years ago I had a sim only account with ID. Fast forward to now and I have taken out a phone contract, but I am unable to log in to my account on the app or online because the email is already registered as an account but won't let me log in because it was more than 6 months ago.  I somehow managed to get in today, but everything is at 0 except a days allowance at -674, in very confused and obviously just want my account to be set up and running smoothly like it was before.  Thanks if you read this far, double thanks if you can help! 

Hello, Very angry since this is the second time now. My partner is heavily disabled and needs the phone to book appointments. 7777 is useless since it just disconnects you and shows you the middle finger.ID does not even attempt to take money from my account and just stop all services and send me a threatening email demanding payment. You guys have my Account details via direct debit but still wont do it I have to do it by hand.And then when it is paid the service still wont be restored. Last time I had to use live chat but of course it’s down now. Mentioned before 7777 is useless.  Turning the Services off is easy and fast but turning it on takes days if not weeks as other people said in this forum. Should have never changed to this scam company never had so many disgusting issues.

I’m currently shopping around an am thinking of switching to ID Mobile on a new pay monthly contract with new handset.If I get a new phone from you on a 24 month contract next month, when would the first price increase occur?  It seems ridiculous that I could sign up for a 2-year contract in March having been attracted by your pricing, only for the monthly cost to go up one-month into the contract.Can you confirm whether this is the case or whether there is a minimum period of use at the advertised price before any increases? 

Please can  you give me a number so I can talk to a human   - My daughter is unable to use her phone and we are unable to get through using the automated system as it is not recognising the PIN.The live chat is even a BOT that does not understand!!!!  Any suggestions would be appreciated as her phone is useless  

Wifi calling has suddenly stopped working on my iphone 12 pro max. It had been working fine until a few weeks ago. Tried turning my phone on/off several times without any luck. Enabling flight mode but again with no luck.Any advice?
