I am currently on “SIM only - Pay Monthly - 1 Month - £5.00 per month - 500mins - Unlimited texts - 1GB data” plan.When I go to “Manage my plan > Change my plan” the list does not say what type of contracts these are.I want to change to the same type of plan (SIM only - Pay monthly - 1 month)

I have a moto g50I can receive texts, use data,  make and receive  calls , but if i try to send a text i get the message ‘not sent, tap to try again’ If i look in advanced settings SMSC is greyed out and not editable but has the following listed :“+44782000800”,145 I’ve tried turning it off and on again.

Hi.My phone got water damage and is now dead. I had quite a lot of important information on texts on the phone. Is there any way I can view texts (online etc) without having access to my phone?TIA

Dear support,I currently hold an account with iD. I would like my son to switch from his current provider and purchase a deal from iD.Do I need to buy a new iD sim for him?I understand the Sim comes with a tel number. If we use the PAC to switch with his current phone number, does this mean the number coming from the iD sim will be replaced by his current number?Thank you

Hiya people 😀 I've been with ID for a while now and in the past I've always wanted to keep my number. This time around I want to use a new number. I assumed a new sim would give me a new number unless I opted out or something. I've now discovered that upgrades keep the old number!! Does anyone have any ideas how I can get a new number working? I've tried the chatbot...(***!!# horrible experience) & spent ages trawling all over the website for help all with no success. It seems it is genuinely impossible to contact a human being...any ideas very gratefully received!!Thanks, Lena 

Hi there, I have accidentally requested my PAC to a wrong SIM card now my main number got cancelled even though I didn’t take my number anywhere! Anything can I do to solve this issue? Many thanks

I have recently switched to ID mobile and submitted my PAC code last week. The switch was scheduled for yesterday however my old number hasn’t transferred. I am now unable to use text, iMessage or FaceTime. On settings it states ‘Verifying’ or ‘Activation Unsuccessful’. I have tried everything suggested on live chat but nothing has worked. 

Hello AllI switched to ID yesterday using the PAC process to keep my number. My mobile is working using the ported number , and my phone is definitely on the ID network . Problem is I cannot resister my ID account . If I try the ported number it wont accept it with a “Oops, the details you�ve entered are incorrect. Please try again.” Error.If I try with the ID number that came with the SIM, it gets a step further and tries to send the security code which never arrives, I guess because the original number has been superceded by my ported number.Have tried rebooting the phone, makes no difference. Please can someone help me get this sorted out .RegardsJohn

Hello,                  *Data - sorry wont let me edit the title..I joined 1 month ago on a pixel 6 deal and since then at home and at work I’ve had coverage related issues that mean I often can’t do basic things - I can’t receive phone calls at work due to bad signal (indoors and outside) and even though my phone displays 5G I often can’t refresh a webpage or use any data. My home is E2 8FQ (which shows 5G on the map) and my work is SE23 1DY - both are locations in London where I would assume there would be a decent amount signal. I’m scared I’ve just committed to a 24month contract where due to poor coverage I can even make a phone call…I get that wifi calling can be helpful but the phone needs to be able to take phone calls and send whatapp messages when so often it can’t. Is this that iD just generally has really bad signal? or is there something else going on?This has been happening the last 3 weeks or so - the first week I put it down to me getting used to a new phone and a new n

I have a new phone (iPhone 12) and contract with ID and switched my number over from my previous provider. I can make calls but when I text I consistently get the error Text message failed to send.I have already checked that the number in iMessage is my original ported number and done the disable iMessage, power off, remove SIM, power on exercise. When I go to Settings_Phone I see the ID number connected with the SIM and am unable to amend this. When I edit the number and Save it still shows the ID mobile number.Reading through topics this may be a split port issue? Please advise what I need to do to be able to send text messages.Many thanksKirsty

Not happy one bit . Never had a mobile provider where you can’t speak to someone unless you pay 6quid!! Nobody really seems to want to help . Try all the things they say and still nothing. Won’t be referring any friends 

hi,if I port my vodafone number onto a pay as you go idmobile sim, is there a minimum period after the port is completed before I can request a pac code from idmobile? or can I do that more or less straight away? cheers.

I want to get a 1 month SIM contract for £8 a month with 16GB data, unlimited minutes and texts. (Normally it’s £8 for 10GB)Looking at this text confuses me: “Increased data allowance will be applied automatically at point of sale and will remain duration of the contract or until you change your plan or upgrade.”After one month, will my allowance still be 16GB or will it drop to the original 10GB?Thanks  

I am waiting for my SIM only Upgrade and the instructions say Activate the SIM when you receive it, The question is ( that I have not found in the forum ) is ..Do I put the NEW SIM in the Phone and Then activate it in my account or Activate it in the Account and Then put  it in the phone?  Thanks

My girlfriend has just switched to ID and received her sim today. I know the process for keeping her existing number but what I’m unsure about is what to do while waiting for the switch to happen. Does she keep her existing sim in the phone until she loses service, then insert the new ID sim?Or does she have to insert the new sim immediately and just live without her old number until the switch is finalised?Thanks

Hi. although similar to topics already submitted I can’t see one that describes my issue. I used to have an account around 2 years ago. Now have a new phone with ID, can’t register as it says my e-mail address already exists but when i try and recover by submitting e-mails address, last name year of birth it says‘Something wasn’t quite right, please try again’Any ideas?RegardsMark

I will be traveling to the UK and Republic of Ireland and only need a sim card for a maximum of 3 weeks. If I go to a Currys store and purchase the sim, do I need a credit check? I’m asking because I keep my credit accounts locked here in the USA and don’t want to unlock them while traveling.

im thinking about switching my phone to a iphone 11, i have a sim only with my current phone that i brought, could i use my current sim and it would auto cancel the old contract and then it would switch over and i woud get paid for the iphone 11 contract and not my sim only?

I have recently upgraded but the handset I have (an Oppo) is not ideal. I wanted a Google Pixel or similar, but was recommended this phone by the shop assistant in Carphone Warehouse. I don't like this phone at all but I'm outside my cooling off period. Is it possible to upgrade the handset to one more suitable? Or change it?

I’m trying to bring my mother into the modern age but she lives in a place with terrible signal and I’m trying to get SIMs from the various networks to test out before committing to anything, some other providers offer SIMs that can be activated afterwards but I can’t see any option for that here, is this something ID Mobile offers? Cheers
