    Unexplained data usage

    I have been with ID mobile for about a week and the app shows I have used 2.5 GB of data. I don’t understand how this can be since that would normally be about what I would use in a month. If I check the data usage on my phone settings (pixel 7a) it shows the same amount, but if you add up the data used by individual apps it only comes to around 300 MB. Can anyone explain this? I have seen a few threads from users on various networks reporting similar issues but there doesn’t seem to be any solid info on what causes it.

    How much data left?

    I’m currently abroad and have got roaming set up, but want to check how much data I’ve used. The app displays 194.7GB/100GB. What is this telling me? That I’ve used 94.7 extra outside of my plan? Is there any way of seeing how much I’ve used while abroad?

    Data allowance has changed.

    Hello all, I've been with ID now for over a year, and when I went into the app I saw that my Unlimited data had now been reduced to 8gb. I'm not sure if this is an error on IDs end or my plan has been changed against my wishes. Any help is appreciated, djc

    Data allowance used up within hours of new sim.

    I am trying out the signal from ID mobile and doing speed tests in my various locations compared to the Giffgaff signal and speed. I bought the PAYG 1gb sim and within a few hours I got a text saying data allowance was USED up. Switching back to GG to use the ID app it's still showing 894mb available. I've only been doing speedtests so can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong please. Not a great start to ID mobile!

    My data remaining went from 27GB to 3GB overnight. My device was switched off. I added another 6GB for 10 pds and that has gone. This has never happened before. is there a way to see the realtime daily data usage since last statement ?

    Data usage not updating in the app or website

    I'm 10 months into a 12-month 20GB ID contract, and I haven't had any problems until now. My data usage isn't updating in either the ID app or the online account viewer - my plan has had 26.4GB of data left for the past 2 days. Some information which may be relevant to this issue: My plan recurs somewhere around the 6th of every month. Last month I used very little data, so this month I had around 38GB of data with the 1 month rollover. I have been on holiday in France for the last 9 days. I have consistently used 1-2GB of data a day for the past 9 days - I have no WiFi so am solely reliant on it. I entered France with around 36GB left on my plan, which means my roaming cap does not matter until I have 6GB left for the month. 2 days ago, my data usage stopped updating, and has been at 26.4GB for the last 2 days, however I have definitely used at least 100MB, if not 2+GB in that time, so it is definitely not updating (I've watched a few hours of YouTube and used some messaging platforms

    Help! App is saying i'm out of everything - unlimited data, minutes texts!

    ***EDIT - resolved **** Two seperate issues that are now resolved: The data useage in the app was resolved after rebooting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the app The phone call problem was because i was calling an ‘07’ number, that was actually a ‘scam’ or chargeable service (which was why it was telling me i needed to pay extra, as i have a spending cap on my account :) ––––––––––––––––– I’m only 5 days into my billing cycle, and I’m not able to make any phone calls, send texts or use mobile data. When I check the app its saying i’ve used all of data, out of a possible 100GB. There is absolutely no possible way that this could have happened, I’ve been at home almost the entire time during these 5 days , and have been using wifi for everything. How could this have happened? I’m also not able to make any phone calls, the automated message says I need to pay something - but i dont know how much to pay or how? its not showing me anything in the app. Please help :( I was with T
