so I would like to sign up to id mobile and order the 13T. the problem is the handset is not in stock until 28/12/23.if I apply for a contract now will I be charged for the month prior to the arrival of the phone? considering I will not have the phone for over a month, common sense dictates I should not be charged until its arrival where my contract can start properly. the issue is the site wants payment directly and ID mobiles customer service chat (supposed human) is not helpful or clear about the any of the information I have requested. Just repeating the same stuff from a script and trying to rush me off the chat before I can even read an reply to messages can someone please give me a clear cut answer?

HiI an due to transfer over to iD mobile today from 3.My 3 sim stopped working about 3 hours ago.  I’ve put the iD sim in my phone but it is showing the number that came with the sim card and not my number I want to transfer over. It’s also letting me use mobile date & whatsapp.  Is this normal? Will my number be transfered over at some point today? Many thanks

Which network is id's roaming partner in Austria?

I ported my phone number on the 10th October (no contract). I have decided I would like to take out a contract with ID mobile. How soon can I port my number again? I have read some articles that say you need to wait 90 days between porting numbers but I am hoping this isn’t the case anymore - does anybody know please? Thank you 

Just setting up new phone and transferred data off my daughters old phone now the screen has gone black although you can still feel that the phone is working behind the black screen , what has happened ????

I've had my Samsung galaxy s21 phone for well over 2 years. I had started my 2 year contract around February 2021. My contract was up beginning of this year but I decided to carry on using my S21 phone without up grading in the hope for my monthly fee to drop. I must admit that did not appear to happen. I've only decided to check my ID app to see about upgrading. I was surprised to see that the app told me I could not until 2025 because I started a new plan. How has this happened.  I'm using an old phone. My 2 year contract was up. Have I been paying to much, because I should have paid for the phone after the 2 years. The phone should be mine now and I should be paying for the usage only and not be tied up in another contract, in which I did not agree to.Can someone please get back to me, many thanks.Jonathan

Im wanting to get a sim with ID that is excellent value for money, but it comes with a 5g sim. My daughter has an iphone XR which is only 4g compatible. Will my daughter be able to access her 4g data, even though its a 5g sim card on the deal?Thanks

I have been trying to swap provider to you using a PAC. I have received the SIM card and several email receipts with the Transaction Number but none of them have an ID Mobile Number as requested by the Switch to ID Mobile Page so I am unable to complete the setup.

My son had his previous phone with ID and the account was in my name. He has just purchased a new phone through Carphone Warehouse in his own name  but he is unable to register or activate the sim card. Will his number be the same with the new SIM or will he need to use his old SIM?

Hi.I recently joined Id and used my pac code to transfer my number.I can receive calls and texts perfectly but when I send texts the recipient sees my original Id number and not the number I transferred,Anyone any idea how to resolve this?TIA 

I have recently, in the last few days, decided to switch to iD. I inserted my SIM card today to begin using it as today was the day that my number would be transferred. The signal has been absolutely abysmal to the extent that I’ve hardly been able to use my phone until I got home and connected to WiFi. Therefore, I’ve decided not to stay with iD and have signed up to another company and requested a PAC from iD. I now have 3 issues:1. The deal I signed up for is £8 a month and I’m leaving well within the 30 day cooling off period but have been quoted just under £15 as a final billI have requested the PAC but it says ‘not generated’. The live chat function is not loading and I cannot find any other way to contact iD to query these issues.

Hello I've just purchased a new phone contract which is due to be delivered tomorrow however my existing phone number isn't going to be transferred until next week, is there any way I can move this forward? 

Hi there, I’ve recently purchased an Iphone 15 Pro Max from ID and am having some issues.  I was transferring from EE, and when I transferred my data over before my EE contract ended, my phone asked if I wanted to create an Esim to keep my number. Thinking this was part of the process I accepted, but i’ve received a text from ID telling me my number has been transferred and now I still have no signal. I understand that ID mobile do not use Esims, so am a bit concerned. I’ve followed all the reset steps (turn imessage on and off, delete the temporary number and put the one I want in etc) but am still having issues. I was told to go to a curry’s store to find out the issue, but is there anything I can do to fix it myself? Cheers

I ordered a pay monthly phone and Tariff yesterday, and received the following email a few hours later? The order you placed through www.carphonewarehouse.com has been accepted by the iD Mobile network, however not for the chosen handset and tariff combination that you have ordered. The network would be willing at this time to offer you one of their great sim only packages.Any reason why this would happen? I have checked my credit score with multiple services (Clearscore, money supermarket, Experian) and all have me as excellent, I have no long term debt, no missed payments, I am employed and earn decent money, so what gives?

I have bought a new phone contract for my teenager, purchased in my name but paid for with their debit card. I’ve just received an email to say my direct debit has been set up, but it includes my name instead of theirs. It says to contact iD Mobile if any of the details are incorrect, but I cannot find a way to do this!!!! Very frustrating. 

Do I need to claim my Currys voucher or is it sent via email?

So it’s been 4 days since I ordered a pay monthly simcard, I was given the option to port my old number to my ID mobile sim card, so I did.Now my old sim card, which was EE says ‘No service’, this tells my that my number has already been ported to ID mobile, but I am yet to receive it.I can’t even access my ID Mobile account online, as when I enter my Mobile, Last name and Year of birth, it shows me the error ‘Something wasn't quite right. Can you enter your details again please?’ There’s no tracking with the sim card, which is a terrible idea from ID Mobile team to try and save pennies.Will I end up losing my number?What are the next steps?Can I request a new siim card with my old number that has already been ported to my ID Mobile sim?
