Just joined iD on the weekend and all seemed to be working fine from my home.However in the office today and i’m getting little to no network signal.  It seemed to work earlier but despite getting 4G, i was barely getting over 1MB speeds.  I now don’t seem to be getting any signal and the signal icon has an exclamation mark next to it.I tried to use the Live Chat but kept getting a Live Chat transfer failure message.I’ve restarted the phone several times, put it in and out of airplane mode and remove and reseated the sim but no change.Help with this would be appreciated.Not a good start!

When setting up my new iPhone, I simply transferred all the data from the old phone to the new one using the automated process. At a certain point it asked if I wanted to transfer my existing number to an esim on the new phone. I pressed yes, but in retrospect I probably shouldn’t have done this.I provide the PAC code to and yesterday had a text from iDMobile confirming my number has transferred, but I’m still sending/receiving calls and messages from the temporary iDMobile number.Additionally, under Settings->Mobile Data, the temporary number is listed as my “primary” and my existing is listed as “secondary”. Similarly, the temporary number is now associated my my iCloud account. Can I just manually change the number in the settings?I’ve tried contacting support, but they claim my details don’t match their records and therefore are unable to help.Thanks.

Last weekend I was in Norfolk, on the sea front queing up for fish and chips as you do. I then got a text notification saying ‘Looks like you are roaming outside of the EU,  be aware that roaming costs can be expensive’.Shortly after I got a notification that I had reached 100 percent of my data cap and had been charged £15, some of which might be through location sharing but not all and as far as I know Wells Next the Sea isn’t outside the EU 🤣 I went on the online chat, twice to try and get it resolved and got nowhere, only to be told that I’d be charged for ‘maritime roaming charges’ even if you are in the UK next to the sea.What??This sounds madness. I’ve seen similar posts so I’m not the only one but did anyone get it resolved and refunded?

I’m looking to try upgrade but everytime I try on the app it gets cancelled 

I have been with iD on a sim-only deal and was supposed to be sent a £30 voucher, just wondering how long this takes to be sent out TIA.

I have been living in the countryside at Ta24 in Bossington a very small hamlet village. I have 2 sim cards as use an LTE camera to watch my dogs while I am out. This system has worked perfectly while living here.Sadly lost my partner and now moving to BS23 in Weston Supermare. Here the coverage is poor indoors but ok just outdoors. I use the phone and data for my communication and entertainment so keep in touch with family.Is there anyway to improve the signal inside the flat so can use the security camera and also make calls use the internet etc?I was also on BT wifi but thats not available or I would switch phone to them. In the Flat there is a good strong service from Sky so was wandering about them.Anyone can help a pensioner? he would be gratefulThanks Rod

I am coming to the end of my ID mobile contract and want to get a new phone. However the cost upgrading is around £170 more on Pixel 8 Pro as opposed to a new contract with ID mobile. Is there a way to get my new phone at a better price through ID mobile (and retain my number) without upgrading? If not will be forced to change networks......

Have seen a sim deal via switch for an ID new sim which will suit my needs.Sim is for my daughters iPhone 14 which will be her first active phone as a Christmas present.Now as its a new sim does it generate a number for her to use as her own.My confusion is on the application it offers drop down box switching from another network .As its her first sim why is there an option for this as I just want a new contract with new number for her .Appears to be no option to remove this.Will it just default to a new connection and new number ?Confused a bit?

Iam an existing plan length monthly SIM only customer. My SIM only monthly plan contract is not subject to CPI + 3.9% April price increases.    Is that set to continue in April 2024? I say this because when I looked at upgrades for SIM only 1 monthly plan contracts it states in the small print that the monthly charge will be subject to CPI. Does that mean that if I don’t upgrade I am not subject to the new CPI terms? Thanks ps does ID mobile customer service exist outside this community?

Evening all,I am eligible for upgrade on the 1st Feb 2024. Is it possible to pay my bill up to this date in one lump so I can then access upgrade deals early? (I hope that makes sense). I am looking at taking out a new contract, selling handset to pay off remaining balance, but would ultimately prefer to stay with ID.  Thank you in advance

I have recently moved across to ID mobile and my sim is not working meaning I cannot make or receive calls. My mobile data is also not working. I have received notification that my number has come across. I have checked the network coverage in my area and also showing as working.please help

Hi, I registered an ID account using my email address for my mum (As she is not familiar with technology and it’s easier to manage from my email address).Eventually she cancelled her account.Recently I have switched to ID mobile myself.However I can’t register using my email address because it’s attached to an account I set up for my mother using my email address (Which is no longer active). Is there any way I can register using my actual email address?

Someone from the sales team processed my upgrade today but suspicious after seeing some generic Latin (used as a typeface when designing) instead of terms and conditions. Can someone confirm whether 'edocuments@idmobile.co.uk' is a legitimate email address

According to ID mobile Wi-fi calling is supported.  According to Samsung, my A53 5G supports wi-fi calling.  However I cannot connect because the wi-fi Icon does not appear on my mobile.  Everything is up to date.  Any help would be appreciated as I live in an area where all mobile network signals aren’t reliable.

Hi, I bought a new Samsung phone the other day (moving from vodafone to iD). I did the PAC code in store and have had a text saying that my number has been switched to iD mobile and my account with my previous provider has been disconnected. The new phone is working and calls are showing up as coming from my old number (i.e. the one i wanted to keep). Texts to my old number come also come through to the new phone. However the texts (e.g. to my wife) are showing up as coming from the wrong phone number (the devices new number). Can you help pls?

I was informed that my old number would be switched today, but nothing happening. Live chat does not seem to be operational at all, and there is no contact phone number. Any help? 

I still haven’t received my gift card 

I used my EE PAC code on 23rd November to port my number to ID. I was told the transfer would take place on 24th November. At around midday on 24th my EE number disconnected but it didn’t transfer over. I did live chat and was told it could be any time until 6pm. 25th, still no transfer and when I call my EE number it says ‘the number you have dialled has not been recognised’. I was then told it would be 27th as number porting does not happen at weekends or bank holidays. 27th, still no joy and told it would be 28th!I have had this number for 27 years and it is my work number. I am self employed and without this number, I have no business. I raised a complaint on 24th, nobody called me. I escalated the complaint to urgent on 27th and still nobody has called.  This is now the 5th day without my telephone number and nobody seems to care! Without this number, I can’t earn any money. For the last few days I am struggling to keep my SIM card data connected. I have to restart it every 20 minutes but now it is not loading anything at all. I had no problems up until yesterday and I am in a full service area and the same area it was working fine in before. How do I resolve this as this is my only WiFi access
