Hi,I am unable to receive SMS messages in Vietnam as my ID mobile sim card will not connect to any of the local mobile networks in Vietnam. I tried the automatic and manual selection method, and it shows all local networks as forbidden. This is only a recent problem and searching through the community it appears that I am not the only person this is happening to,Please help as this is a big problem for banking etc when I cannot receive OTPs etc.

Since I switch my old number to id mobile I have been unable to receive SMS from abroad. This is particularly bad as I have an international spid and I am unable to receive a pin to confirm access to my spid. I tried everything possible but still unable to receive sms from outside the uk (I can send them though). Id mobile has failed to do anything about it (they promised to call 3 times at times when I could be called but they failed to call every single time) so I reported the issue to ofcom and I will inform communications ombudsman about the dispute when it is the right time.

Hello, I am currently on a Samsung A17 and in 2 years i am due to upgrade i am looking to get the IPhone 17 pro max in 2 years My current plan is around £20.00 PM when i go to upgrade from a low tier to high tier phone... would the upgrade system allow me to get the latest high tier phone without any issues? Or would i be stuck with a low tier phone again? Please let me know if i could upgrade to a high yier phone in 2 years or if i would be stuck with another low tier phone? I really dont want to be stuck with another basic phone in 2 years!

I bought the add on day one after receiving the welcome to Turkey message. Connected to Turkcell and Vodafone TR.  Both show signal, but then I get an exclamation mark ❗ on the signal.  I have a Google Pixel. I then followed the steps to fix it. Checked the APN. Reset network settings but to no avail.  I still get no Internet even though it says it's connected.  I've got 4 more days left.  I doubt it will connect. I think I need a refund.  I roamed in Greece earlier this year and it worked perfectly.

Hi there,I am using an iPhone 17 pro max with an eSIM and I regularly travel outside the UK. I always have my roaming turned off as my destinations are not in the 50 included nations, however, I still get charged for roaming. I also have a physical SIM card installed for another provider, who’s roaming is also turned off, and I do not get charged for travelling between countries. I get the SMS notification that I have landed in xxx country and if I want to use my data etc etc blah blah, which is fine but I ignore it as I do not intend to use iD. Quite soon after, I get an SMS informing me that I am using chargeable data.I don’t understand how this can happen. (I have just toggled the WiFi assist option to off). In terms of monetary value it’s not huge - like tens of pence, but it’s kind of annoying! Can you please let me know how else I can avoid these charges? Many thanks,Samuel Man

Is it true that iDMobile has no coverage in Poland?  I am currently in Wrocław and banked on using my data, but can’t connect to the internet at all 😔

I’m on holiday in Reims in France, and can’t connect to ID mobile data or mobile phone service, have I got to do something in the phone settings.. ?

Hi, my mum went on holiday to TunisiaShe says she turned roaming off. However, when she got the bill, she has been charged for receiving calls from her nephew. So, what does turning roaming off actually do?If roaming is turned of, will your phone ring?will you get SMS messages.Cheers in advance, Paul.

I am currently abroad and gone over 30GB roaming data. Could you tell me when this reset or could i buy an extra data please?

I recently switched from Lebara to ID Mobile. I use this number for international bank transactions. As part of the transition to my new phone, I need to authenticate my banking apps. This process requires the app to send an SMS for verification, which worked seamlessly with Lebara. However, with ID Mobile, I am encountering errors due to a Sender ID mismatch. This is critical for me, and I need to resolve this issue. I have attempted several troubleshooting steps, including resetting my mobile device, adjusting network settings, and reinstalling the banking apps, but none of these solutions have worked. Can you please assist me with this problem?

Hello,My wife and I are both iD customers and she is travelling to see family in Russia soon and passing through Turkey (she’ll be there for a day at most on this journey). She would like to send text messages to me while in Turkey (where she could use her smartphone) and then in Russia (where she will be using an older Nokia phone) because although we can get a “Roaming Beyond” add-on for Turkey, but this is not an option for Russia. So we are wondering how best to go about this please as I find the information on the website confusing? Many thanks,RichardWatt7

Is my iPhone 16 dual eSIM compatible?  I have bought a different provider eSIM which try’s to install in eSIM 1 which I think is taken by ID Mobile. I just want to install the additional eSIM but not activate it until I travel. Thanks.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I got the iPhone 17 last month but it’s faulty I can’t get notifications I’ve done everything who do I contact please

I have already spoken to the chat bot and tried all their suggestions. I have just purchased a £20 5 day Roaming add on for Turkey and the internet isn't working. How do I get a refund?

going to NYC for five days. beat and cheapest way for phone use/data?

I'm going to New York in December, is it worth me paying £20 for extra data or is it better for me to get an E sim from somewhere online

Can my mobile be used fully in Canada and if so for how long? It looks like roaming max is 10 days?

Hello, I have signed up for an eSim and want to keep my number. I have a PAC from my current plan at Lebara.I have separately received the eSim by email from ID Mobile but without any porting attached to it. I understand that I have to use the following service:https://www.idmobile.co.uk/switchTwo questions:1- Should I activate my eSim, be assigned a random number, then ask for a switch using the above link? Because the link requests an ID Mobile to be filled in2- I am currently travelling (in Spain and the UAE if that's important). Can I activate and port the eSim while abroad or should I wait to be back in the UK? Thank you for your help!

I recently joined ID because of the data available when travelling in Europe. However, I struggle to find where in the app I can tell how much I’ve used. Can anyone help with where I’d find this so I don’t overuse my allowance in any given billing month? Thank you.

Recently whilst travelling on a ferry between Hull (UK) and Rotterdam (Netherlands), and whilst my phone was inside an inside cabin on the ferry, i.e. within a giant Faraday Cage, my account was debited for £10 worldwide Roaming charge - £10 being the cap value I had established. This was at the time when my phone had “No Service” and i was asleep overnight. The ferry route from the UK to Netherlands would not have allowed the phone to “see” any cell towers in non EU countries, indeed the Faraday Cage would have prevented the phone from seeing anything. Why then have I been charged this additional £10?James8

Hi, I recently saw an announcement that that the 30GB data cap when roaming had been lifted until further notice. Is this still the case please as I have just received a "usage warning".( I am in France )

Hi,I recently (last week) switched to my old number from my previous provider. The transfer was laborious and my old provider switched off and the new provider transferred the number a good 8 hours later. Also, the new number was unable to send and receive sms and iMessages and FaceTime did not work for about 3 days after the transfer. However, over a week later and even after having changed from eSIM to a replacement SIM card, I am unable to receive international sms (I can send them though) which is really serious as I cannot verify my international id virtual card without it. Can anyone suggest what I could do to be able to get international sms again?

How to use my phone  Abroad within the EU. I went Brussels recently was not able to use my phone without connecting to Wi-Fi. Why is this so?

I can’t get 4/5g when overseas.  The id instructions say to go to “mobile services” on my phone but this doesn’t exist?
