I am switching from Three & opted to keep my existing number, will this automatically port or do I need to get a PAC, which would seem odd as it’s Three??

had an email to confrim my numbers been swtiched from EE to ID mobile, i now have two numbers a secondary and primary, ive set the number im keeping as primary but it will not work i get no service and no data i can only use my phone with wifi. My number was switched on friday and it still isnt working and actually says its an EE number, ive tried speaking to a number of bots and agents but no ones been helpful, and you end up going around in circles, with no help to fix the matter, cant even phone ID to speak to someone.

I’m looking to add an additional SIM to my plan so I can use my data from a MiFi portable broadband device. Is this possible, and if so, how do I go about obtaining one?

Hi, I have smashed my phone before setting up an account so when I try to register, the SMS is sent to my broken phone which I cannot access. I therefore cannot request a new e-sim. Any assistance would be appreciated as I am phone-less. thanks   

I am with ID mobile on a SIM only contract at the moment. However, yesterday evening I purchased a new contract with ID mobile. As I wanted to upgrade my phone I have been told by the unhelpful chatbot that I cannot keep the same phone number and I have to cancel my new contract and go with another company and then come back to ID mobile. As if I'm going to do that. Can anyone help me please. All I'm doing is going from a a SIM only to a contract and both of these are with ID mobile. Why is it so difficult with them  

So here's something not covered or told to you anywhere from id mobile if upgrading your 4g phone to a 5g on.You are told to simply insert your old sim card into your new phone and away you go. Yes, that's true unless you want 5g on your new 5g phone because if your old phone was 4g then the sim WILL NOT pickup 5g.I only noticed this by chance some 4 weeks after upgrading when out shopping  a 5g reception area and still i was only getting 4g.You should be told that a si  from your old phone WILL NOT work as described in the setup directions, you will only get 4g.You need to upgrade your sim yourself to either a new 5g sim or a  Esim, which i eventually have done.Not good enough fro. id but hopefully this will help if anyone is having the same problem 

Hello,I can’t receive one-time-passcode (OTP) SMS from an Italian identity provider called PosteID, which is used to log in securely to public services in Italy.I’ve tested other similar Italian services / identity providers and received their SMS without any issue, so it seems specific to certain senders.I contacted live chat support and was advised to increase my bill cap and reset my network settings. I followed both steps, but the issue hasn’t been resolved. I have also double checked that the number in my iPhone 17 is correct, and that it matches what PosteID has on their system.For context, I’m now using an eSIM with my iD Mobile number (+44 7…). I can receive normal SMS messages from the UK and from other countries, so the problem appears to affect only some messages from this provider in Italy.It seems possible that some international OTPs, perhaps those sent from shortcodes, are being blocked at network level.Does anyone have any su

I have recently joined ID mobile and wish to switch my old number across.  I completed the online form with my PAC code and transaction number and chose today as the switch date. I’ve had no confirmation or no update to say if it’s happening or not.I’ve then tried to go on Live Chat all morning but it won’t connect to an Agent. Please can someone let me know if my switch is going ahead. So far I am hugely disappointed in ID as the communication has been poor and I’m still unable to talk to a real human being.   

I have tried to chat to someone but keeps saying no one available try again later. Requested earliest transfer date and gave pac code on purchase. Supposed to be the 16th but contract is saying the 23rd? 

I would like to move my other number from another network to ID mobile, I don’t mind losing the current ID mobile number, but I’ll still keep the contract but just want to change to another number from another network, is that doable?  The other network already confirmed they’ll provide me the PAC number.  

I just moved to ID mobile but having issues with OTP messages from abroad. I double checked the number is correct, checked the blocked numbers as well but not recieving any OTP messages. Kind regards,Yana

Hi - been on ID mobile for many months and I’ve suddenly stopped receiving OTPs from my bank (I receive them from other companies fine and texts work fine too between friends).I have seen previous threads here and have tried the Network Settings reset as-well as the manual toggling off of Automatic in Mobile Services (choosing ID from the list).I’ve contacted my bank who have contacted BT (who they use to send my OTP’s) and BT said it’s an issue with ID mobile as they can see SMS error (Code 213) which typically indicates temporary problem or lost reach (I’m on WiFi and strong City 5G so it’s not like I’m in the countryside).my friend also has ID mobile and facing same issues too.How can I get ID mobile second line support to confirm if they are indeed receiving my OTP from BT but unable to forward it to my number?Thanks for help in advance 

My new Pixel 9a is telling me that iD don't support transferring my SIM. Please advise

This is getting to be a bit of a joke. I scheduled a number transfer for Monday 13th October which has not completed two days later on Wednesday 15th October. So I try to go to your live chat, finally get past your bot and 3 minutes later I get “I’m sorry. I’m not available to chat at this time. Please try again later and I will be glad to help you.” This is after my having to apply 4 times to get a plan, the reason? You rejected my address for not having a county - the same address YOUR system automatically pulled… Pretty awful service and there doesn’t appear to be a number I can call, very frustrated at the moment.

Hi,I’m leaving iD in my returns period due to signal issues and have to return my phone via post. I have an ESIM and want to know if I transfer my data ext to my old phone will my eSIM work in that phone?  thanks for your help

However, each time I try to submit it, I receive the error message: "Oops something went wrong, Try again later."I have double-checked that all my details are correct and have attempted the submission multiple times without success.Could someone please look into this and assist me?Thank you.  

I moved carriers a few years ago. From 3 to ID. I requested to keep my number. Initially it all went well. Then I could receive texts but not send them, which I put up with in favour of using WhatsApp. Now I can’t receive texts or send them. Why is this happening, can someone help or guide me?

I have received a replacement sim , i d want to send a code to my phone to activate said sim …. The phone isn’t working/ number live until the sim is activated! How can I activate this sim another way?I’ve tried live chat but it just keeps saying not available, try later!
