I read recently that there’s no cap on data usage whilst abroad if your in one of the roam free country’s even though it states there’s a 30gb cap on the app. Is this still true or has it gone back to the cap of 30gb?

We have unlimited data, text and call. i thought roaming charges are included in the plan, so even if in the USA because we have unlimited, we are covered?

Please can you tell me if I can have an add-on on my current plan for when going to United Arab Emirates. So I don't have to pay loads extra to use my data.

Hi, Arrived in Turkey tonight and cant use my phone at all, for anything!  I made sure that I purchased the Turkey roaming add on for 10 days at £35 before we left the country this afternoon.. I've had a confirmation text that its been activated and the charge has been added on to my bill but nothing is working! 😔 There is signal showing and the 4g keeps showing up but there doesn't seem to be any kind of working connection. I've restarted my phone lots of times and I've done the network search on settings and tried and tested each available network. All of my phone settings seem to be switched on as they should be and its definitely switched on in the id app too?  What could be going wrong, someone please help! 🙏 xx

Hi Guys,I am currently roaming in Bulgaria with iD and no complaints on the service. However, I tried to call my friend in Bulgaria who has a bulgarian phone number (+359) and instead of him receiving the call from my number, the call is displayed as a variation of numbers. I call one time, and he gets an incoming call from a greek number, another time a hungarian number and another time my normal number. Anyone have any idea as to whats going in? Its very interesting, not that i mind it! Also, I have a giffgaff sim card with me in another phone that is in no way linked to my iD number, and when I call myself from giffgaff to iD and vice versa, sometimes the other line gets the call from a random non - UK number but sometimes the correct numbers show up. Thanks!-T

Recently i went for a short break in Norfolk UK.Whilst there i was silly enough to use a seaside town and its beach.This cost me 14.50 ROW charges as the network assumed i was in territorial waters, on a ship!!My first interaction with My Id was unsuccessful and their only advice was to reduce my bill cap to £0.Not happy, i persisted and only following a threat to go to the ombudsman did they refund the charge.Moral is, DO NOT take the first NO as a final answer. Persist and ye shall persevere.

We are going on Holiday at the end of the month and I was checking to see if I can roam in Cyprus  on my plan. After checking the list its say Cyprus in in Band 1 where I calls, texts and data is covered under my plan how ever at the bottom Cyprus is listed under the destinations Not covered at all and will incur charges on calls texts and data. I presume I would be covered and hope its a typo on ID mobiles behalf but I would like it clarified. 

my data isn’t working in turkey - how do i fix this urgently ?

For the second time this year I am unable to use my phone abroad. Last time in Denmark, this time in Netherlands. I have checked all settings/roaming and APNs are correct.  What else can I do? It's very frustrating as I'm.noe here for two weeks.

Hello ID I bought a add on for roaming as I am away in turkey. Spent 35 pounds on it and haven't been able to us it once. Can you sort this out for me please or take the money off my monthly package or a refund please. I need to get back in contact with home. I will be leaving ID on the 24th when my contract is up because I've had nothing but trouble with you. 

I am a new customer and I am going to Spain and Italy  for 6 weeks.I have unlimited calls and 30g of data. If I call local numbers from Spain to Spain are they  unlimited? Moreover if I call other numbers in roaming free european destinations from a Spain (I.e. to Italy) are they unlimited free?thank you R

I don’t receive text messages explaining if I can use my data as part of the roaming package or the rates if not included. I did not opt out and not sure why I don’t receive these. 

I have just arrived in Holland, and I've received a text saying I have used 100% of my roaming allowance. Never had this previously. Can anyone please advise, my account was reset 2 days ago, so I have full GB plus rollover data

Hi, my roaming is on in the ID mobile app, but I can't turn it on in the settings on my Samsung phone, it's a dull grey instead of being a bold grey option. 

I’m going to France & Spain 6th of August for 6 weeks to walk the Camino Le Puy. I have unlimited data and calls in the UK and want to know if I’ll get unlimited data in France & Spain?I’ve tried contacting chat support, but their replies are so vague, copied & pasted from somewhere. Can I or can I not use my unlimited data allowance for those 6 weeks?I’m thinking of buying an eSIM for the trip, but I don’t want to pay the extra money if I don’t need to.

I am unable to call family on UK number while abroad in EU. Roaming internet is working and i can call local numbers and UK numbers located in U K but not my family numbers on holiday with me Roaming internet is working.

My wife and I are going on a cruise holiday from the UK to Madeira, Spain and the Canaries which will include a few days at sea. She will want to keep in contact with her elderly mother in the UK by way of a phone call each day. If the call is made via the ships wi-fi package when at sea will she incur roaming, or any other charges?

My roaming  add on won’t work in turkey can you help please 

I have just found out that I can't access mobile data roaming on my phone, the options are all greyed out, I have done the usual things like resetting the network, removing and reinserting the sim card, restarting the phone, I also checked my account and data roaming was on, I thought I would turn it off then back on but now that option is greyed out on my account! Can someone please help? And before you say it, no I'm not doing a factory reset for this. 

 I'd like to ask what package is good for data till i can used in France.Thank you

I am going abroad can I use my SIM card

I was out walking the Norfolk coast when message arrived saying I might be on a ship. Then I got two messages saying I’d used up 100% of my credit limit. I didn’t see these because I was chatting with my friends and walking. Checking my account I’ve been charged £25 which is my personal limit! But data roaming was turned off!  There was a big ship right on the horizon. I don’t understand how this can have happened. I checked and found I’d been auto connected to Tampnet. I’ve now swapped to manual network.  Can you please refund this amount.
