Why do I have two numbers - the old one I switched, and want to use, which is the ‘primary’ one, and the number ID gave me, which I don’t want, called ‘mobile data’. I’ve accidentally sent messages using mobile data and my contacts don’t know it’s me!

Hi everyone. Has my one else noticed that new customers are apparently offered a better Del than us existing ones? I’ve been with ID for a long time now on a monthly rolling contract and when I looked at upgrade plans for sim only I saw that unlimited everything is an option for £18/month. However, when a friend looked who isn’t an ID customer they got the same deall offered for only £15/month. I thought these sort of goings on were now illegal, as that’s what the energy companies used to do. Anyone got any insights as to why/how this is happening and who we can speak to in ID to try to get the same good deals offered to new customers. Cheers

If I change to a ID simcard will all the apps ,phone numbers emails etc stay in place if I retain my number ?

We have noticed over the last few months that the signal is at best 1 bar. Sometimes nothing. We struggle to watch short videos. online cover report says no issues. L40 area

My address is N15 6bh I'm supposed to have excellent 4g coverage and some 5g coverage. The 5g is non existent and on 4g it is not that good throughout the day and terrible during the evening. I have tried the SIM in multiple phones and currently using the Pixel 9a and all have the same problem so it must be a problem with the network.

I had an old number a while ago that I think was with ID but I have recently changed numbers twice. My current number is ID but I was wondering if I can change it to my old one? Thanks

Need help. I'm not receiving texts messages this has been the case for 5 days now. If i switch on RCS then not a problem but when switched back to normal settings then nothing. I have restarted my phone, deleted and re added contacts and done pretty much what's been advised. Only been with this provider for a few months after hearing good things yet have had nothing but problems .since between bad connection and now this.

I chatted with customer service about a week or 2 ago asking for proof of purchase, I was told it would receive it in 24 to 48 hours. I still don’t have it. The offer will expire before I get the receipt the way this is going.

On 11th March there was an issue or upgrade to the transmitter in the SO31 area (Southampton). As a result, there was no mobile coverage. Idmobile also wants to increase the price I pay despite not delivering a network. Network performance is generally poor. As Idmobile are in breach of contract what are my next steps to cancel my contract?

I’m located in Gateshead Tyne and Wear. Since January 2025 my (iPhone 13 Pro ) mobile phone loses the ability to receive or make calls using ID Mobile’s service on both 4G and WiFi calling when at home or out and about . It works fine for making and receiving calls using WhatsApp, so clearly my phone has got a data connection to the internet. When this happens, I generally try turning the phone off and back on, but this doesn’t seem to resolve anything. It seems to me that the issue may be with ID Mobile’s infrastructure not being able to give me a “channel” through which to make or receive calls with a worryingly high frequency. It’s starting to make ID Mobile untenable as a service for me. I’ve missed a number of urgent calls recently from family members and clients who say that my phone just rings and I don’t answer. It doesn’t even go into voicemail most of the time it seems.

I'm interested to know whether anyone has actually received their reward for refer-a-friend scheme- or scam (trying to establish which is the correct term for this???) I've been trying to get my reward since January. The person who is supposed to sort it out (Aklambio ) has required all sorts of information about the successful referral that normally I would not expect to have to provide… the person says it's because they don't have access to ID Mobile database because they are third party… okay fair enough… but… I've provided all the obscure references and other details about the referral contract and now…CHIRPS (utter silence except bird's twittering in the trees...) So, before I write this referral reward claim off as a scam, I just like anyone who has received their reward to let me know how long ago this was and how they did it ? Thanks

I am unable to make or receive calls, when doing so there is no ringing and message network busy pops up, when others are calling me the phone rings out and goes to voicemail. I don't get notifications for voice mail to to say I've had missed calls. I am still able to send and receive text messages provided there is WiFi internet available. I have followed the steps on the help pages but still nothing. My phone is 4g compatable being a balckview wave 6c This problem has occured in the last 2days Help please, do I need a new SIM card? Or is there something else

Hi, Anyone else having issues dialling 159 on ID Mobile? For those unfamiliar, 159 is the national hotline that's meant to make it easy to report fraud and cybercrime directly to your bank. Whenever I try to dial it from my mobile, I just get a three note tone suggesting the number isn't available. It's a bit puzzling, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or if there's something I might be missing. Any help or insights would be much appreciated. Cheers!

New phone 6 weeks ago and signed up to ID Mobile. Went on first holiday abroad in many years, a cruise around the Canaries. While there I received texts advising that Spain was a roam free destination - subject to a “fair use” policy. However, within 3 days I received further texts from ID stating that I had reached 100% of my “roaming cap” and this was subject to a £45 charge. Looking at my account I could see that the limit for additional billing had defaulted on my phone to £75. I set this to £0 and kept my phone off for the rest of the trip Could a member of the ID team explain how charging me £45 for what can only be a few mb of data can be described as a “fair use policy”? Also, how can I contest this charge, if my ID account has defaulted to allow additional billing to take place? Surely a fairer and more honest approach would be to set a default to £0 and then the customer could make an informed choice.

A while ago, I stopped being able to receive or make phone calls. Today I decided to do something about it, and after some research I learnt it's probably due to the 3g network being switched off. I also learnt that my phone, OnePlus 5, is not on the list of supported phones for 4g calling, and the guide for turning on 4g calling is not applicable to me (those options aren't available, not even under different names as far as I can tell). Is there any hope for me or will I need to switch carrier (I am not getting a new phone yet)? As a side note, the chat bot was about as helpful as a sack of potatoes in this case, and I think it might be easier to find Atlantis than a proper contact method to speak to a human. Please, I don't want to talk to a bot.
