Why do I suddenly have no signal?

I have seen other questions about this but they didn't answer this question. I suddenly have no signal at home. My signal here is usually good. There is no extreme weather, there are no outages showing on the appropriate web page, and my partner, in the same room, who is also on ID Mobile, is having no issues. I have restarted the phone. I have not changed anything or damaged the phone. It's a Sony Xperia XQ-AU51. Please help me to fix this and prevent it, or tell me how to contact actual people to help...! Thanks if you can.

    What is Spam or Phishing?

Phishing is a cyber-attack where criminals impersonate trusted sources, like banks or HMRC, to steal your personal or financial information or infect your device with malware. Spam refers to unwanted SMS or junk emails often sent with malicious intent. Both phishing and spam can occur through text, email, or phone calls. Remember, iD Mobile will neve r send an SMS with a short URL or ask you to make a payment through a link. We always provide secure payment options through the iD Mobile app or My Account online, where you can check for any outstanding payments. Why Does Phishing Exist? Phishing exists because it’s an easy and effective way for cybercriminals to steal valuable information and money. It requires minimal technical skill and can target thousands of people simultaneously by creating messages that appear legitimate and play on fear and urgency. The low cost and high reward make it an attractive method for scammers. Who Do Attackers Pretend to Be? Attackers often use the iden

I'm struggling to sort out my number. I have switched my number via a pac code but the number issued by ID is showing on text messages. If I turn off rcs messages then it uses my correct number but left on ot defaults to the sim number. I've tried changing the number on settings but it defaults back to the wrong one. Please can someone tell me what else I can try?

Where is the list of roaming partner networks by country?

I’ve been searching in vain for information about which partner network(s) ID uses in each country. All questions about roaming generate multiple answers concerning how to enable roaming, how much it will cost and what packages are available to control costs, but very little about which networks are going to be used in the destination country. This matters because in remote or mountainous areas, not all networks that operate in the country are likely to have coverage. I have encountered this in the Austrian Tirol for example. So before going abroad I want to know which partner network I am likely to connect to and look up the coverage map to assure myself that it will work. Does anyone know where a table of partner networks by country is available, both for ID and for any other operator from whom I might buy a PAYG ESIM?

"Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number"

When you search on here, this seems to be a top issue. All issues eventually have a “this has all been sorted, please reboot your phone” Clearly this is a known fault on this network. Online chat have had me checking all settings, resetting settings and changing sims into another phone. Don’t waste your time doing this, ITS NOT YOU PHONE. its been over 24 hrs now and as I was going round and round on the chat, I really wanted to talk to someone. I call complaints, what more waste of time, 51 minutes. Apparently technical are looking at it and it can take 24 to 48 hrs. this was only sent to technical as I called back this morning as I was told there were service issues in my area and it would be resolved after midnight. Guess what…. it wasn’t. I then had to wait until 9am for online chat to open. Out of the 3 people I have spoken to, its would seem this is a new thing. Please search here, its happened to many people. My point for writing this was to try and save anyone the hours I have,

    What is a UK Add-On?

Add-ons are a handy way to top up your data or minutes and steer clear of any out-of-plan charges. We’ve got a range of options to suit your needs: What is a UK Add-on? Running low on data or minutes? It happens! Whether it’s a new Netflix series on your commute or endless phone calls, your monthly allowance can sometimes fall short. If you think you’ll run out of minutes or data before your allowances refresh, buying an Add-on works out cheaper than racking up out-of-plan charges. For example, a 7-day Add-on of 100MB data is just £1.00. But if you use an extra 100MB of data outside your plan without an Add-on, you’ll be charged £10.24. Add-ons kick in once your allowance runs out. A data Add-on starts after your monthly data (and Data Rollover) is used, and a calls Add-on activates when your minutes run out. Choose one that lasts 7 days, 1 month, or 12 months. Make sure you buy the Add-on when your allowance is close to running out. A 7-day data Add-on will expire exactly seven days a

Extremely poor performance on Pixel 8

Last year my wife and I bought a pixel 8 and contract each from iD mobile. We are both experiencing very poor performance using when trying to make or receive calls using the iD mobile sim. By far the worse is receiving calls. Quite often the phone itself rings, but when we answer the call there is just silence the other end. On a number of occasions we have waited for important phone calls and when we answered the call couldn’t speak to the person on the other end. We thought maybe it was the ‘wifi calling’ option that was the problem, but disabling that has not helped. When trying to make calls, we have noticed a huge lag in entering the phone number and the call being connected. I’m talking 10s or more. Then when the call does connect the person on the other end can often not make out what we are saying as the call quality is so poor. We now have a 2nd sim in our phones with another provider as it is the only way we can reliably make and receive calls with a decent quality of servic
