Cannot make or receive calls at my home location

I am currently roaming in France, I managed to sort out a roaming issue by changing my phone APN details from three to ID mobile, but now when I connect my laptop to my phone hotspot there is no internet access. I have tried my hotspot on another device & it's just the same - connected but no internet?

I have a pixel 7 and switched to ID around June. I noticed that my phone is unable to connect to the internet when on 4G, but the symptoms suggest this is a bit more complicated. The issue is usually reserved to very specific areas and is completely consistent. Here are a few things I observed: when connected to a “dedicated” (still NSA, but C-band) 5G tower, the connection is perfectly fine. Certain spots where I’d expect normal coverage there is no connection, those are city centres and I seem to have all bars of signal strength, 4G connection, but no internet access. This is not a slow or sporadic connection but outright no access. This is sometimes accompanied by an exclamation mark next to the signal bar (unfortunately, android doesn't provide much in terms of network diagnostics) in some other areas, the phone quickly toggles between 4G and 5G, again all bars of signal strength, but settles back on 4G which doesn't work According to the coverage checker and status checker, there

I've been with ID mobile for 6 months now and the issues with signal wherever I am is just getting so frustrating now. I've looked into switching to another service but it's telling me I'll have to pay £49.99 to leave! Because I'm wanting to leave due to poor service, is there a way out of this fee?

Hi, after having a phone stolen in Thailand and purchasing a replacement, I now cannot call, send/receive texts or access my mobile data. Is there anything special that needs to be done in settings to allow me to use my phone in the UK? Thanks, Nick

Since ID Mobile introduced VoLTE my Cubot KingKong Mini2 mobilephone has gone silent.I only accept text messages, I can't talk. Please can you help improve the phone signal on my iphone. I have been on ID-mobile for two months now, i have Aspergers and i live alone, so its very important i have a decent phone signal, so i can phone people when i need to. even when i am in the gym which is close to my town centre i can’t get a phone signal in the gym either (even though i’m connected to their wifi and have wifi calling enabled, i get i missed calls when i leave the gym) but other people on the three network (which IDM runs on) have four bars in the gym. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help. Thank you. Additionally, NO, i don’t live in a castle, so its not thick walls that are stopping the signal from getting to my phone and the internal walls in the house are thin and even with internal doors open it makes no difference. Is there a signal booster that can be sent to me? I know other networks do a boosters that work with a broadband connection and put the calls through the broadband, but i don’t have broadband (

Ihave terrible intenet in glasgow, i cant even perform my job properly. I have been a customer for many years but this is the worst ever, been going on for a week, sluggish internet. can some one from ID advise whats going on, ill have to witch network provder as i cant deal with this slow performance - never been this bad postcode area g42

I’m in London for a few days, can’t believe how poor my signal is to say I’m in the capital. Best I’ve had is 4G but only one bar. WHY!!!!!

I have been having problems with Indoor coverage , with iD/3 and according to OFCOM network coverage checker both 3 and EE limit network availability when the device is connected to broadband network. Been a 3/ID customer for 7 years or so. Recently 4G signal so poor as to unworkable at times. ID say there’s nothing wrong, fault must be at my end. It isn’t. Newish contract phone works just fine. No changes in the local environment. I have line of site with the mast. Issues affecting wife’s ID phone and our 4G (Smarty/Three) router. Ombudsman case rejected as ‘out of their remit’, I’m in a low speed 4G area, and ‘I’ve still been able to use data’. Will be forced to reinstall home broadband. See no reason why I should continue paying £40 a month for unlimited data, when for large parts of the day I can hardly use it. The low speed 4G always used to be decent enough. I’m not using massive amounts of data, but I can’t do a fair bit of what I used to be able to. Any ideas? Short of cancelling and seeing ID in court, I’m stuck! Cheers, Jon

I'm travelling to Tenerife, would I be able to use my data allowance as normal with no additional charges?

So I've been with Id mobile a week. All other providers have been fine withbthe same phone. I change sim every 12 months. Everytime I call someone and sometimes when they call me, the caller cannot hear me or when they can they say it's very echoey and impossible to make out what I am saying. The phone often switches to 'WiFi calling' but that makes no difference. I can see other threads where this is also the case so it's nothing new. Why is this an issue? What are ID mobile doing to sort this as it's a common thing. This is extremely frustrating especially when I've sat in a phone queue to the bank for 20 mins each time only to get through to someone and they can't hear me and disconnect!! I don't live in the middle of nowhere at all.

Frustrated!! Initially worked fine and last 6 weeks network/signal has been intermittent where I’m unable to make or receive calls unless using WhatsApp! I’ve tried resetting the phone numerous times and tried everything suggested in the ‘chat’ from others having same issue, regarding settings etc. Checked network coverage status, etc for my area and says all is good it reckons. Tried disabling my Wi-Fi on phone which 4G makes an appearance, but disappears once I turn Wi-Fi back on again, and oh my signal only has x1bar 😫. Please, please advise

My husband and I are both with ID and neither of us can make or receive calls. Whenever we do the person on the other end can't hear us. The person on the other line can be heard absolutely fine but they can't hear anything from either of us dialing off an ID phone. I have complained about this already and my husband was sent a new SIM ( I was promised we would both receive new Sims which didn't happen). There has been absolutely no improvement since my complaint and my husbands new SIM has made no difference whatsoever. Both of our phones have been rendered unusable and there seems to be no sensible solution. Why am I paying a monthly charge for two phones that don't function as phones?! I have just lost my Grandma and it is currently impossible to phone Grandad to check in on him. The advice I have been given by ID hasn't fixed the issue and I cannot believe I am paying for a serious lack of service not to mention the fact it is impossible to actually speak to anyone about the issue.

From day one I have had the odd echo and people can head themselves when they contact me , the last 6 weeks it's every day and got worse is this a ID problem or pixel problem the phone just turned 12 months old today ?

I am using a sim in my MiFi with unlimited data but struggling to get any data? What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, I have faced issues with my ID mobile messaging app over the past few days. Messages are delayed and don't reach destination until a few hours/a day after I sent them which is really annoying. Would be able to help please? Thanks Jan

My phone keeps cutting out as does ny husbands. we have both just recently in the last few months moved to ID and this is an ongoing issue. any one know why and how I can report it and get some help?

I recently upgraded my plan to unlimited data. It worked for a few days but now I have no service whatsoever.

I have had none stop problems in dealing with ID mobile in the many years since I first started using them. When my phone was stolen, it was impossible to get in contact with anyone. Now, internet coverage appears intermittent at best, and non-existent at worst. Any attempt to contact customer service is met with a blank wall of unhelpful information. Why am I paying a significant amount for what is absolutely disgraceful customer service, and a complete lack of supply of the service I have been paying for. I cannot wait until my contract ends so I can move to a service provide that….well...provides a service. In the mean time, I would be gracious to anyone who can provide information on how I can reclaim some of my monthly payments for services not rendered, and also any way I can end my contract early.

My WiFi and Mobile data connection are extremely weak and I can’t use my phone properly.
