How to stop robocall?
Since last year, I received a quick call then it stops and it left voice message. Turns out it was Chinese robocall. Then it hasn’t stop since then, with different numbers. I set it Silence Unknown Callers on my iPhone but no feature to block it. Anyone knows how to stop them? Thank you. Silver Hair Deaf.

cant recieve calls
Just switched to ID using a PAC code to bring my number across. I have had a text saying the number switch has been completed. I can call out but can't recieve any calls, looking at SIM manager the call and SMS toggles are greyed out. I have checked the VoLTE settings are connected, manually chosen ID in the network operators section and reset the settings. Is there anything else I can do.

Worse than dial up, so slow its unreal
iPhone 16 Pro Max No matter where i am, home or work, if not connected to WiFi the ID/3 signal strength means nothing, I get the slowest internet connection along with calls the constantly drop out. Why is this? Current location WA1 1RL, home M27 6. Signal checker no issue with either location 5G? Previous network o2 no issues? 28.3mbps

SIM Card not arrived
Hi Guys, my order with ID mobile completed on the 14th of March and said it would be delivered on the 18th by Royal Mail. I’ve called them and they have said all they can do is prompt local mail services to send it but that if I haven’t received it by Monday the 24th to get in touch with the sender (ID Mobile) to submit a inquiry into there the parcel is. It’s been some time now I’ve been without a SIM card and id really just love for this issue to be solved. I can’t log into my ID mobile account as when it sends me the text message I can’t receive it as I don’t have my SIM card.Is there anything I can do is it too late to switch to an ESIM?

wrong number shown on recipients phone when sending text messages
So I discovered that when I send an RCS message in Google messenger the wrong phone number is displayed on the recipients phone. I have check the RCS chat settings in messenger and indeed the wrong phone number is shown (it's the original phone number associated with my SIM before porting my number). I have had the phone for around 5 months and it has been fine until the last week with no problems sending/receiving calls or texts. I have tried the troubleshooting steps suggested by ID mobile in the FAQ section which have not fixed the issue. Any suggestions on next steps?

What is Circle to Search?Blog
We’ve all been there at one point or another. You’re sat staring at your phone screen. Then something pops up on your social feed that you really like the look of It could be a cool jacket. Or a tasty dish from your favourite chef. But you don’t know which brand the clothes are from. And that cuisine isn’t like anything you’ve ever seen before. It’s got octopus in it! Usually, you’d have to spend ages tapping out a question on Google to find out what they are. Not here though. Circle to Search to the rescue. Google’s nifty AI tool will help you to learn more about them way quicker than before. And you’ll be able to do it with just a couple of taps. Here’s how it all works… What is Circle to Search? It’s exactly what it sounds like. Google Circle to Search is an AI feature on the latest Android devices that lets you search for text, images or videos straight from your screen. Instead of typing, just circle, highlight, scribble or tap on whatever you’re interested in. Then let the tech do the hard work. Once the AI recognises what it’s looking at, Google will give you a list of relevant results. It’s super clever stuff. And it makes searching the web way easier. Especially when you’re browsing through content on your phone. How are you going to use it during your day to day though? Well, we’ve put together a few practical examples below that you’re definitely going to want to try out. Exploring products. Let’s say you’re on Insta. An influencer you follow is wearing a snazzy pair of shoes that’ll go perfectly with that new outfit of yours. With Circle to Search, you don’t have to pause the video and type out a long description on Google to track them down. Just circle the shoes, and Google will show you which brand makes them, how much they’re going to cost you, and where to buy them from. Nice. It can even show you reviews from other fashionistas. So, you’ll be able to tell whether you’re making a good decision or not. Plus, it’ll recommend other similar sneakers that might catch your eye too. Who knows, you might prefer one of those pairs instead. It’s kind of like having your very own personal shopping assistant. Finding recipes. The midweek meals are becoming a bit stale. Time for a bit of foodie inspo. Have a quick scroll on X, and you’ll probably see plenty of mouth-watering dinners from home cooks and celeb chefs. And while they look incredibly yummy, you’ve got no idea how to make them or what they’re actually called. No problem. Circle that stew and Google will fire back with step-by-step recipes, video guides and cooking tips. Then you’ll be able to get it all just right – and won’t overdo the seasoning like last time. And that’s all bound to come in handy, especially when it’s your turn to host the next dinner party. Your guests will probably be asking you for the recipe at the end of the night! Educational use. Circle to Search isn’t just about the fun stuff though. It’s great for learning things as well. If you’re studying – and come across a tricky term you don’t understand – it’s got your back. Circle it and you’ll get an instant explanation, along with some handy articles and resources with more info. How’s that for a study buddy? It’s a life saver when you’re cramming for an exam. After all, you need those facts to sink in nice and quick. And if you’ve got into a good revision flow, you won’t be slowed down by flicking through a chunky textbook or scanning a billion different websites to find what you need. Conclusion So, that’s just some of the ways that Google’s Circle to Search on Android can help you every daty. By making your queries simpler and faster, we reckon it’s going to completely change how we interact with information. And these AI search tools are only going to get better and better too. We’re super excited to see what’s coming next. How are you finding Circle to Search so far? Got any tips for it that we need to know about? Tell us all about them in the comments section down below.

Wi-fi calling only working intermitently on Samsung Galaxy S24FE
I recently moved to ID Mobile from O2. I have a new Samsung Galaxy 24FE which worked perfectly on O2 with Wi-Fi calling - always offering Wi-Fi calling whenever it was connected to Wi-Fi. When I moved to ID mobile (with a physical SIM) I ensured Wi-Fi calling was enabled on the handset - the only option is “Make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi connection whenever available”. However it only works intermitently and will drop in and out of the Wi-Fi calling seemingly at random. This happens mostly at home where I’m on Virgin Media, but also at my Mum’s house on Sky broadband and in pubs / restaurants. At work it seems to hold Wi-Fi calling much better. I can force it onto Wi-Fi calling by putting it into Airplane mode, but that’s not ideal. After searching on the community I have today installed an eSim to replace the physical SIM (which separtely solved the problem I had with the wrong number showing in RCS chats). My number has always correctly shown in SIM Manager, but the eSim has made no difference to holding Wi-Fi calling - it did for the first minute then lost it. It’s so frustarting, becasue I never had to theink about it with O2 - any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

Other person can't hear me
Hi, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. When I make an outgoing call, frequently the other person can't hear me at all, and other times they can only partially hear me (my voice keeps breaking up). I can hear them perfectly clearly. It seems to be getting worse. However, when the other person calls me, they usually are able to hear me just fine. I have tried disabling WiFi Calling, disabling WiFi and Bluetooth, and resetting network settings. Nothing has worked. I should say, WhatsApp and Discord calls work flawlessly, as does using the sound recorder app, so it seems my microphone works fine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Can i switch from eSIM to physical SIM?
I have an eSIM with id, all working great. I am going to Canada for 3 weeks - which isn't on the id roaming list. I would like to get a travel eSIM to use for 3 weeks whilst I am away (eSIMs seem to be easiest option for travel) but my phone only supports one eSIM. Can I request my id phone number be switched to a physical SIM so that I can get another SIM whilst I am out the country. Thanks for your help.

The Future of AI: What’s Next?Blog
AI has already changed how we live, work, and chat with our phones. From answering questions in seconds to generating artwork, it’s made life easier—and it’s only just getting started. But what’s coming next? Let’s take a look at some of the coolest AI advancements on the horizon. Smarter assistants that just get you. Right now, AI assistants can set reminders, send messages, and answer basic questions. But in the future, they’ll do so much more. Imagine your phone knowing what you need before you even ask—like reminding you to leave for work with the fastest route already mapped out. AI will also get better at handling complex tasks. Instead of just setting an alarm for your morning run, your assistant might check the weather, your calendar, and your sleep quality to suggest the perfect time to get moving. The aim? To make your digital assistant feel less like a tool and more like a personal sidekick. We already rely on AI to help manage our schedules, but in the future, it’ll become even smoother. Picture your phone not just booking flights but sorting things if there’s a delay, finding you a hotel when plans change, or suggesting things to do based on what you love. Whether it’s picking the perfect takeaway or helping you stick to your fitness goals, AI will soon be handling life admin like a pro. AI that knows how you feel. Right now, AI can understand words and voice commands, but the next step is emotional intelligence. Future AI could pick up on your tone of voice, typing style, or even facial expressions to sense how you’re feeling. If you sound stressed, your phone might suggest a break or play some calming music. If you’re feeling low, it could remind you to check in with a mate or suggest something fun to do. This kind of emotional AI could change the way we interact with our phones, making them feel more in tune with our lives than ever. Health monitoring beyond fitness. Your smartwatch already tracks your steps and heart rate, but AI is about to take health monitoring to a whole new level. In the future, your phone could analyse your voice to detect early signs of illness, stress, or even mental health conditions. It could monitor your sleep patterns and suggest ways to improve your rest. Some experts reckon AI might even detect signs of conditions like anxiety or depression by noticing small changes in your behaviour. With smarter health tracking, AI could help us all take better care of ourselves—before we even realise we need to. AI that works across your apps. A big step forward for AI is its ability to handle multiple tasks across different apps with a single request. Instead of jumping between apps yourself, your AI assistant could do it for you. Need to book a table, find the best route there, and let your mates know? Just ask once, and AI will sort the lot. This kind of cross-app intelligence is already starting to appear, making multitasking even easier. In the future, AI won’t just respond to what you ask—it’ll anticipate what you need, helping you get stuff done faster. AI that supercharges your creativity. AI isn’t just about getting things done—it’s also about having fun and getting creative. Future AI will go beyond just generating content from prompts—it’ll collaborate with you, helping bring your ideas to life. Imagine an AI that doesn’t just create a song in your favourite genre but tailors it based on your mood and past playlists. Or one that learns your fashion sense and suggests fresh outfit combos you’d never have thought of. AI is also set to make creativity more accessible than ever. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, an indie musician, or just want to level up your social media game, AI-powered tools will help turn inspiration into reality—fast. Instead of replacing creativity, AI will amplify it, making sure your best ideas don’t stay stuck in your head. The bottom line. AI isn’t just the future—it’s happening right now. And as tech keeps evolving, our phones are only going to get smarter, more intuitive, and more personal. Whether it’s predicting what you need, supporting your mental health, or making travel easier, AI is set to make life smoother and more connected than ever. So, what’s next? Watch this space—because AI is just getting started.
