Phone number to change to sim only at end of phone contract

If I click on one of the sim only upgrades in the last 30 days of phone contract does that cancel the existing contract at end of period and automatically start the sim only on that date? Or should I cancel current one first then buy the sim only deal

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s possible to port my existing and in use number to a new contract in six months time? I know this can be read and understood in a few ways so let me try to explain below: I am an ID customer with a contract ending in six months time. Lets call this ‘contract A’I want to change my phone as I’m a little fed up with what I have at the moment.I’ve seen a suitable deal that I want to take out, also with ID mobile. I’ll call this ‘contract B’My plan is to take out contract B with it’s new handset, but still use my sim from contract A. In six months time, when contract A comes to an end, I’d like to port my number to contract B. I’m aware I’ll have to port to another network first before porting back to ID.Is this possible or is there a time limit from when the new contract starts to be able to port?

When I log in and try to upgrade it says it’s too early to upgrade and that I can only upgrade from February 2025?!

Yr not alone, I’ve been trying for more than a wk now. move contacted ID mobile direct on there contact tel no. Where they once again took all my relevant details & confirmed my Gift Card ref No. Was told wait 24- 48 hrs & it will be activated when I visit Currys.Sadly NOT.Manager Aden claimed he has emailed Currys Medics Team who should sort this issue.I also learned the Medics Team are working on a skeleton crew. Was told to go confirm all my Account details with ID mobile guy. Which I did again.Was finally told after going around in circles it’s possible we should have been sent E gift in form of email???? Not An actual Gift Card.Crazy as they send a courier to ur house from Royal Mail for which you have to provide a specific pin to take delivery of Gift CardWe can put a Man on the Moon, but Currys can’t sort Customers Gift Cards!Beggars Belief! Curry’s  Continue giving Customers  the run around. &am

I have changed from EE (for 21 years) to I D. I have purchased unlimited ALL but I have an issue with data. My phone says using low data, and it is very weak. Won’t even scroll face book, never mind hot spot. Please can I have more detail how to fix this issue. I work away as a lone woman and it’s vital I have access to data for sat nav etc. so my situation is urgent, please help rectify. Thank you. 

I spoke to id mobile and carphone warehouse and mobile despite the upgrade being available upon loading the id app and even after the sales agent tried to fix it by keeping the monthly payment 20.00 and attempting to pay upfront costs still not allowing me to process the upgrade. Really disappointed as I was getting eligible upgrade notification constantly and every one i have checked with multiple times told me upgrade and don’t worry upgrade is not going to credit check me again but using the same account yet security keeps failing unbelievable 

My plan is due to end soon. Am i able to access deals for "new customers" or would i have to leave ID before qualifying?  

Can I have my upgrade delivered to a different address than my residence ?

I'm out of a 24 month contract with ID mobile...happy with my phone which is now mine so I've ordered a sim only 30 day rolling deal. What do I do to keep my number ? Thanks people

Hi, my name is James. i spoke to live chat today. I’m currently on a sim only and can’t upgrade till August. I am told that when I upgrade that because my plan is £19.99 I would only be able to upgrade to a device of that airtime/data value or less??? That can’t be right????

Why am unable to make calls?  I'm being told that I've reached my cut limit even though my call plan is unlimited?

Hi All, Already an ID customer with my mobile. I want to use to use mobile data when away, but rather than removing the sim or tethering to a mobile router, I’ve decided to go with a second sim. I only want this active a month at a time, as will have no need for this at home. I can get a 1 month rolling contract, but wonder if it’s possible to pause the contract after a month and restart at a later time, maybe a month or two later? I know I could just buy a new sim card, but it seems a little wasteful and unecessary if I already have a sim - just wondering if this is possible?

Hi, I am due an upgrade from Sept 21st 2025. I can get an early upgrade on 21st July. This is probably going to be when I do because I have had my phone stolen and can't continue using this rubbish phone 🥲🥲. Obviously I would need to pay the last 2 months on the day, but what other fees do I need to pay? I want the same deal I have got to continue, so just wanting to know how much upfront along side the 2 months end of contract. Never done this before so I'm clueless lol, thanks.

Hello all,My contract ends soon and I currently pay £46.11 monthly.My question is, what happens after the contract ends on 16/06/25, I know i will continue to get billed. But I want to know how much?Is it a case for example the phone is £30 monthly and plan £16.11, so I will only pay £16.11 monthly after contract ends?Or do I continue to get billed my usual £46.11.I tried live chat 4 times and no one could give me an answer.Thank you

Hi,At the beginning of April, I upgraded my mobile plan to include 120 GB of data along with unlimited texts and minutes. However, I just realized that I’ve only been given 1.5 GB instead of the 120 GB I’m paying for.I’ve been trying to contact customer service for three days straight, multiple times a day, using the live chat — but I haven't received any response. It’s incredibly frustrating, and I feel like I have no way to resolve this issue.Is there any other way to get in touch with someone who can help?I just want the plan I signed up for, and some acknowledgment that this issue is being looked into.Thank you.

Upgraded from 60gb to 120gb and it’s showing as 1.5gb I had a search and this seems to be a known issue from several months ago (though CS chat told me it had never happened before)Some people seemed to have the exact same issue, 120gb showing as 1.5gb others had unlimited data showing as 5gb. For some it seemed to be a graphical glitch others seemed to actually be limited to 1.5gbI called 7777 and it does say I have 120gb/120gb so is it just a UI error?From the contract documents From my account online  

Recently i got offered an upgrade on my plan to pay £10/month for 120GB as opposed to £12/month for 100GB. I got an email confirmation for this but when i go onto my app it says my plan is £10/month for 1.5GB.  I’m worried i wont have enough data next month as i go through a lot doing university work outside of home. Not sure who to call as it seems ID mobile do not have a number and the automated chat bot service is not working, any advice?

Hey - hoping someone here can help as so far the dedicated CS have not been able to! I’ve been with ID mobile on a £10, 70GB contract for years but saw an upgrade offer on my account earlier offering 120GB data and a voucher for the same price - seemed like a win-win to me! I accepted this offer but never received any email confirmation. I queried this with CS who confirmed it was indeed being processed. I’ve just accessed my account again, a few hours after putting in the upgrade, and my data allowance has reduced to 1.5GB a month - far short of what I agreed to. Anyone know if this is a technical glitch?  CS said I’d have to contact them again tomorrow and the sales team just pointed me back in the direction of CS …
