sim does not support eSIM transfer

Hello, I am leaving ID and have requested a switch request. I received a message from Id saying the switch has taken place. However when trying to transfer my old number from my old iPhone to my new iphone I receive an error message saying ‘Your SIM is not supported’ The Sim in your old iPhone does not support eSIN transfer. Contact id for assistance.’ I now have no mobile service on my old or new phone. Can you help please?

    Port Delayed, Support not helping

My port-in from Lebara to ID Mobile was scheduled for the 24/06, but did not take place. My old Lebara SIM has stopped working as Lebara say they have ported the number over so I cannot recieve any 2 factor texts to get into my bank accounts. ID mobile support has been no help and keeps saying it’ll happen by 10pm that evening, but come that time, still no working phone. Support is now saying to wait for a phone call in 2 days, well, 2 days have passed and no one has been in touch. I’m going round in circles on the live chat, does anyone have a number I can call, as I can’t see any other way to get this resolved?

    MMS not supported by network

My problem is I cant send text message. Am getting MMS not supported by network. I’ve been through all the manual process and checked everything is correct. I have been through all the tips found on youtube regarding this problem but still unsolved.

New SIM - mobile data and calls not supported

Hi All, I have a new SIM with ID mobile and a new phone. The mobile data isn't working at all and on making calls, either the call doesn't connect or when it does the person I'm calling says the line is really unclear / I'm cutting out when speaking. And if they try to call me, they can't hear me at all. What could be the issue here please? I'm waiting for my old number to be ported today, but this issue has been for the last few days and I'm really frustrated that there is no online help from ID mobile, just the chat function, that sends you round and round in circles...

Update for customers using the iD Mobile app on iOS 15.

We’re updating the iD Mobile app to ensure you can see important information about your account, along with making it more secure and easier to use. This means the app no longer supports iOS 15 or earlier - so, if your iPhone is running one of these versions, you’ll need to manage your account through my.idmobile.co.uk instead. This change affects customers with an iPhone 7, iPhone SE (1st Generation) or older, as those phones do not support newer iOS versions. But don’t worry! This article explains how you can continue to manage your iD Mobile account: What do I need to do? You can still manage your account quickly and easily by logging in via our website: my.idmobile.co.uk . For even quicker access, you can add a shortcut to your Home Screen - so it’s just like using the app! Here’s how: Open your preferred web browser (e.g. Safari or Chrome) and go to my.idmobile.co.uk . Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll down and tap ‘Add to Home Screen’. Give it a

    data packages in Philipines

Hi, my phone is a Samsung A34 do does not support Esims. Does IDmobile do a data package for the Phillipines? Could do with a preloaded physical sim card with data for the phillipines. When I am settled at the hotel, I can buy a Phillipines sim card. All advice, comments are welcome. Cheers in advance. Paul

    IPv6 Support

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone knows when iD will be getting IPv6? I’m considering switching to iD but I often have issues surrounding CGNAT, which I get around by using IPv6. I’ve got an iD SIM at the moment for testing which does not support IPv6 Many thanks!

    Apple watch

Hi there, I've recently moved to yourselves from three. However three cancelled by eSim for apple watch. I see now that you do not support eSim for apple watch. I thought you used three network? So I don't understand why you don't support apple watch?Had I've of know this I would have gone with another provider. This is really disappointing. Are you looking to support this?It is such a shame as you have the best roaming deals, hence why I joined.

    Making calls

For over a week I cannot make or receive calls. I have dual SIM in Android phone. The other SIM (other company) works ok, ID not. Says ‘This network does not support calls’ Also with the ‘enabling 4G’ advice for your switching off 3G, will I still be able to make and receive calls even when access to the internet is not possible?

    No network coverage - again

I cannot make or receive calls, I cannot send texts and I cannot use my mobile data. Please fix this issue as a matter of urgency, this is the second time in 6 months I have experienced this issue with ID mobile and I rely on my phone to ensure my ailing parents are not needing support. I have used a troubleshooting ID mobile network website, I Checked the network status in my area & there are no reported problems I have disconnected from the network, chosen another network provider and then re-chosen ID mobile. I have taken my SIM card in and out. Please fix this issue ASAP. Thank you.

    Blocked Calls

Please help. This is day 4 that I have been unable to make calls. Whenever I try I get the message that my service does not support this number. I have tried to chat but that function does not seem to work on the I'd mobile site. I emailed but the email address is no longer monitored. I went to Currys and they gave me a new Sim which hasn't resolved the issued. Can some one from ID mobile call me to resolve this issue?

A better way to use WiFi calling!

Hi all! I just joined iD Mobile with a brand new Samsung A34 5G 256GB/8GB phone on their unlimited everything package; it was an amazing deal, and so far, I am very impressed with both the mobile and iD support. I have started this conversation because, having trawled the Internet, the most relevant question/answer I found was on this very forum about a year ago; however, the 'solution' was a workaround as opposed to a proper fix, and, as an engineer, I like to find the best possible solution to a problem. WiFi calling, together with a solid WiFi signal linking you to a high bandwidth Internet connection, should be the most brilliant solution to a poor cellular signal at home or work, but unless you can keep it locked on when needed, chocolate teapots and fireguards come to mind 😉. For those not familiar, by default, when you activate WiFi calling, it is in 'prefer cellular' as opposed to 'prefer WiFi' mode. What does that mean? Well, prefer cellular means that if there is even the ti

    Mobile Done Wrong?

Several months ago, my new mobile Service Provider, Smarty (who I’d signed up with a couple of months previous), emailed me to let me know that my mobile would likely not work after the 3G switch off as it does not correctly support their hardware’s configuration for VoLTE, and that I should consider switching to a new Service Provider, or purchase a new phone. In anticipation of this, I scouted around for a new comparable deal, and came across iD Mobile. I could see that they ran on the Three network, so to be sure, I spoke to an agent and asked. For posterity, below is an extract of the conversation I had with the iD Mobile agent. You: I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and I am currently with Smarty. I've been advised that 3G will be switched off in less than two weeks and when it does, my phone will not be supported, because even though it supports VoLTE, and configuration issue on Smarty's side means my phone is not supported. I also read that ID mobile is likely to have a similar c

Which Roaming destinations are NOT available on our network?

At iD Mobile we’re all about keeping you connected. Unfortunately, there are some countries in which our Network Partner, Three UK, don’t have a roaming agreement in place: Which Roaming destinations are NOT included in my plan? Destination Bhutan Burundi Chad Cocos (Keeling) Islands Comoros Cook Islands Curaçao Djibouti East Timor Eritrea Guinea Guinea-Bissau Kirbati Lesotho Mali Marshall Island Mauritania Micronesia Republic Nauru New Caledonia Niue Palau Palestine Pitcairn Island Solomon Islands Somalia Sudan Syria Tibet Tokelau Tonga Tuvalu Wallis and Futuna Islands Western Sahara Zimbabwe Zimbabwe Libya Additionally, there are some restrictions in the following countries: Namibia – Data services not supported.

    Get your settings

Does this tool work? https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/get-your-settings/settings-tool I’m going through the process but its not sending me any notification. My problem is I cant send text message. Am getting MMS not supported by network. I’ve been through all the manual process and checked everything is correct. I was hoping if there is a glitch this tool might correct it. I have been through all the tips found on youtube regarding this problem but still unsolved.

    0300 and 0330 calling

My apologies if this question was asked previously. I’ve just switched to a new ID mobile pay monthly phone contract yesterday…..Discovered that when calling UK 0300 or 0330 numbers from my phone, result in busy, call type not supported or cut off after a few mins of a successful call connection. So I’m guessing, that calls to these type of UK commercial numbers are not covered in the ID mobile contract call plan, even though I’m on unlimited call minutes, TXT’s and data. Can anyone confirm this is indeed the case, and if it is, what we can add to the plan to make calls to 03XXX numbers etc?

No signal when roaming in Germany from the UK

Hi, I am using ID mobile on my iPad and have no signal when in Germany. I have checked all the settings and followed the points in the app so am sure roaming is switched on for the ipad and my ID account. I have tried manually selecting a network but it will not connect to any network. I have tried rebooting as well! How do I fix this please? Thanks

How to get the Bigme Hibreak Pho phone to work on the iD Mobile network?

For several years I’ve been on the ID Mobile network with a number of Google Pixel phones. I’ve just bought a Bigme Hibreak Pro -- I needed a phone that works in bright sunlight -- but I cannot get the SIM card to work in the new phone. I’ve tried modifying the APN settings for the SIM card in the new phone so that they match the settings in my current Pixel phone when using the same SIM card. Any suggestions? Many thanks Gavin

Ipad working in UK not in EU

I am in Germany, and my IPad cellular is no service, works fine in UK, spoke to chatbot did reset network settings, roaming on and off, restart IPad, reinstall SIM card etc. interestingly it works fine in the iPhone but not on my IPad mini 6, but works on the IPad fine in UK. please can this be solved as when I signed up I was told it would work fine, which it does for the UK looks like it’s an EU problem. Thank you

    4G calling on Oneplus 5

A while ago, I stopped being able to receive or make phone calls. Today I decided to do something about it, and after some research I learnt it's probably due to the 3g network being switched off. I also learnt that my phone, OnePlus 5, is not on the list of supported phones for 4g calling, and the guide for turning on 4g calling is not applicable to me (those options aren't available, not even under different names as far as I can tell). Is there any hope for me or will I need to switch carrier (I am not getting a new phone yet)? As a side note, the chat bot was about as helpful as a sack of potatoes in this case, and I think it might be easier to find Atlantis than a proper contact method to speak to a human. Please, I don't want to talk to a bot.
