I have a Google Pixel 7 and have just left Smarty to come to ID. They both use same network but my data connection with ID is shocking!!

I wanted to cancel my phone contract and return it

My son's Sim was blocked but I keep paying for the subscription,  I need to cancel it but it's still blocked and I cannot add it on my app

Tried to cancel sim only contract as this has come to an end. I had no  response so cancelled the direct debit. Then got an email wanting to know why I’d cancelled and how this would affect my credit rating!!!! I can’t cancel my contract because I don’t know what my phone no is . I have used this sim for data only and apparently my tablet doesn’t know my phone no either so I can’t get into my account to cancel it. Any idea’s would be welcome.

I’m a new customer and cancelled my 12-month SIM-only contract just 24 hours after receiving the SIM due to poor data signal (I can’t live with it!). I cancelled via chat, and the agent said my account would be switched to PAYG within 10 minutes and stay that way until I use my PAC to transfer to another network.It’s been a few hours, but the app still shows I’m on the 12-month plan. How can I confirm that the cancellation went through? Should I go ahead and use my PAC to switch networks, or could that trigger a penalty—even though I’m within the cooling-off period?

HI There, I’m really at a loss for what to do. Usually, with most issues with my previous provider, I would pick up the phone and speak with an advisor. I have had my phone for a few months now so i’m well past the point of returning my phone as part of the 14 day cooling off period. I have struggled since day one with data phone reception. I live in Cornwall and had no idea that it would be as bad as this. I have come from EE which wasn’t always ideal but this is beyond a joke. If I go out anywhere, i’m constantly having to tether to my husband’s EE mobile phone as his is much better in places where I would always get phone reception and internet. When I look online, i’m being told that the reception is fine and that I should be at the very least getting 4G but i’m not. I don’t think the online system is very accurate in rural areas.I’ve also struggled with network outages and updates leaving me unable to make or receive calls on numerous occasions! 

I'm currently an id mobile customer but have seen a better upgrade on carphone warehouse which is still with the id mobile network. How do I keep my phone number if I purchase through carphone warehouse? Do I just ask for a pac code like I usually would?

I cannot wait for mytwo years to be up. I’ve had problems with my phone since it arrived. The signal is terrible!!!! And customer service is just a joke. I cannot wait for my contract to be done with. Never again will I use ID crappy mobile 

What;s going on with the network again today? When will it be resolved?

How do I give notice to end my contract? I have just over 30 days left on my current contract and can't find a link anywhere on the ID mobile site.

Hi I was leaving idmobile and went to pay my final bill but I couldn’t access there on line account as they restricted my account and then phoned them and there automated phone line wasn’t working either it was only £4 bill but after months they said I have missed 2 payments and put it on my credit report the bill is gone know and I am in credit for £5 is there any thing I can do to get this off my credit report thanks 

We have 6 months left on x2 ID mobile contracts and are wanting to end Early fee free. Can you please give advice on this? The issues are as follows.. 1. The three network has become highly congested in the last month or 2. Our ID, three and smarty contacts are all suffering the exact same issues of showing signal bars but unable to use data/calls in certain areas where it used to work fine before. Please note, this is 5 different phones, 2 three contacts, 2 id mobile contracts, 1 smarty contact ALL experiencing this issue. So it's not phone or setting related.  2. Both ID contracts my kids use are unable to get connection in their school and outside their school and also, lucky to get a connection if they are travelling to and from school. This is a safety concern for us as parents. 3. Our contracts have had an increase from April when we should not be getting an increase as we took the contacts out before January 2025.

Cant get it via Text or app. Its been over a week.Agent cant do it either, lied to me about "it'll be there in 30 minutes" lol 😆 Classic.I need a PAC code please.. I changed my number in the last 6 weeks, not sure if this is related..I've spent weeks updating my apps and family friends and customers, now I'm.concerned ID cannot generate a PAC for me. I hope you actually can help me. Thank you in advance 

I need to cancel my account can't find help anywhere.been trying to do live chat but can't seem to speak to an agent

I signs up to iD months and months ago when living abroad- mostly to keep my UK number active and to receive confirmation text codes from the sort of accounts that ask for them…Annoyingly, I never managed to get the texts to come through or the iD number to work while abroad. I’m now back in the U.K. for a few weeks so hoped to solve the problem.However, I’ve now realised that I can’t connect at all and it isn’t about being abroad. I’ve followed all the advice I can online- other sim switched off, iD the preferred network etc.I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro, iOS is up to date.what am I missing? Can I cancel iD if never used (as unable!) thank you!  

Could someone please help me, I have gone through ID live chat 4 times in the past 2 weeks and have not been able to request a PAC to port out of ID to a different mobile number. Everytime I request PAC to 65075 I receive the following message: Hi --, we've encountered an issue processing your PAC request. It’s just becoming a bit of a joke now, at the point now where I cannot make a phone call all day  due to the lack of service from ID mobile. No sound at all for outgoing calls, we have three contracts with ID mobile in the house and all three of them have been having this issue for months now and we are getting nowhere with trying to sort it.  some days we aren’t even receiving incoming calls, no notification of a missed call either 

I have been trying since Friday 13th June 2025. We have tried on app, online and live chat. Nothing works.Under Ofcom regulations, I am entitled to receive my PAC code within one working day. It's literally in the law. Seems like delay tactics. Has anyone found a solution to this. I will be reporting this to the Ombudsman.

I have iPhone14’s (2)  which were bought in July2023 on a 2 year contract.  So contract is finished in just over a months time. I saw on other posts about people leaving the cancellation to the last minute as otherwise they’d be charged up to the end of the contract. But by my reckoning when I make my payment next week I’ll have made 24 payments so surely I will have fully paid my contract up.  So if i give 30 days notice at the right time surely there will be nothing else to pay when i move to a SIM only deal with a new supplier as my contract expires.  I’d be grateful if anyone could tell me if I’m reading it wrong as this is the first time I’ve had a contract. 

So I am out of contract, but looked at my final bill and they have charged me an extra month? Best of it is i have signed up to a sim only deal for 12 months. The ball buster with the sim only is i can't take my old number because I am staying with ID. 

I’ve tried to use my pac code I received, however, as it has less than 2 days left before it expires, it’s not being accepted by my new provider.  I’ve tried to re-request my pac from IDmlbile, but I’ve just received the same, old code.  I need a new one asap. thanksMatt

I have been paying £12 a month th for a SIM card that I have never received or used. I have tried several times to cancel it but this seems impossible as I do not know the mobile number.
