Can I use my mobile phone number in the USA and how much,  or could I purchase a sim to use in the USA?

Hi I've just checked and ID have overcharged me this month on my bill and added extra charges plus VAT.I dont understand as I didn't go over my monthly allowance and it doesn't explain bill what I've been overcharged for. Is this system error or way to make complaint, does anyone know where I can make complaint about this. Thank you 

I have upgraded my phone on Saturday, and accidentally ordered an e SIM. My new phone won't arrive until Wednesday and I can't use my phone now as it says I have no network and all I get is emergency calls only. Can't find any answers on the awful chat bot and literally want to speak to someone. Fed up with the whole set up

Hi,My 81 year old Dad lost his phone last week so I've been trying to sort a new sim for him for the last 3 days and have hit a wall with the situation.Dad lost his phone which obviously had his sim inside. We managed to login to his account in a web browser and report the phone and sim as lost. Next I tried to order him a new sim through the website only to find I couldn't login to his account without his phone for verification. Then I called customer service who advised I could collect a sim from the local Currys branch or have one sent via post within a few working days.I opted to go to Currys to save waiting, attended the store to be told they didn't issue replacement sims and could offer a PAYG sim or a contract  I explained we spoke to ID CS and they said the store would issue a replacement sim. The staff member went away and returned with a sim package, stating I could register it at home via phone, the app or website.I then attempted

I transferred my number from o2 back in September 24, but when I send a text it is still using the original number that iD allocated for me. How do I update it to my o2 number? Thanks. 

My contract runs out in May. I can upgrade in March. I’ve seen many posts here saying to go from Pay Monthly to SIM Only you have to leave iD and then come back. This seems a bit backwards to go forwardsDoes anyone know if this is still the case? I also understand if I don’t cancel I will continue to pay my full contract price which I certainly do not want to do.Any help, advice or guidance on this would be great as money has never been so tight.

A very good day to you all. I’ll try and keep this brief. I currently have a Oneplus 5T phone. I am new to ID mobile. I was with BT where I had no problem with my phone using their network. I have signed up to a 12 month sim only contract with iD mobile, at a very good price. I have ported my old number across and my account with BT is now closed. After activating my new sim, I find that I cannot make or receive any calls. I can however, send and receive messages. I have tried using the sim in a friend’s Google Pixel 7a where it does make and receive calls. So the sim works, but it would appear that the network does not. I have researched this site and others and discovered that many iD mobile customers have had or are experiencing similar difficulties. At this point, let me say, that there was no warning before I signed up, that my phone might not be compatible and why would I think it wouldn’t be, when it had worked perfectly on another network. Do ID mobile 1 month rolling plans allows for WiFi calling as I had read this can improve call quality in areas of poor signal (and I had read on this forum that in certain areas there are some pretty unhappy customers).

Has anyone knows why all of a sudden I have no internet. It is been 3days now I have no internet with my mobile, it works fine before but now I don’t have internet. I’ve tried to chat with the customer service using hotspot with my other mobile phone but it kept on dropping the connection. Is anyone knows the contact number of the customer service? thanks

Happy New Year and hope you can help.  Just started with iD and have an iD number.  I would like to keep my old number and received a PAC.  Can I transfer over my old number (via PAC) and still retain my new number?  I understand my Google Pixel 8a can use dual sims.Thanks.

Hello.  Texted several times from old sim/phone to 65075 for transfer of old number but just keep getting a rely to say “we ran into a problem”.

Do  new 1 month sim only contracts increase in each year in Apr and if so by how much or are there no increases once the contract is taken out. 

This is appalling. iPhone 11 Pro user. I moved away from O2 in order to save a few pounds (silly of me) and I have now been with ID mobile for just over a  month - and I am really struggling with it. I initially opted for an eSim but most of the time I couldn’t make phone calls, especially, I seem to have noticed, to other non iPhone users. So three days ago I have opted/replaced the eSim for a physical sim card and inserted it into my phone. At first things seemed to be better but three days later, I still seem unable to make calls to certain numbers. I have an existing claim that’s been escalated through the (pretty useless sorry) live chat agents three or four times now but i am still waiting for the so called ID ‘technical department’, mentioned by the live chat agents continuously as the ones who need to look into the issue but in reality “ghosts” which have never ever once contacted me back despite my issue been now raised several times, to get back to me. I'm trying to reregister with the new app, but once I get to the find my account page which needs phone number, surname and date of birth it says there's no record of my account.

What is going on with ID? Haven’t been able to make or receive calls, done the reset, got a new sim and it’s no better, I can’t wait to leave ID and go with a proper network!! 

Really not getting sick to death with the 3 network and it's unreliable coverage. Calls cut out or get told from person I call can't hear me. As stuck in a contract for few more months and before I switch my number by PAC could anyone tell me that call diverts from id mobile are inclusive in your allowance to another UK mobile number?Thinking of testing rival networks to see if any improvements but just diverting my calls  to it. Could you advise if this is possible and inclusive of call package with id mobile? Once established new network and contract up will just leave. Pointless paying for a service that is poor...

I’m travelling to Turkey which is not in the 50 roam free destinations. I’m looking for confirmation that I will receive 2FA SMS texts for banking and other services. I also have a £0 cap to avoid additional charges.

Hello,  I am interested in buying a SIM only deal.  But during the checkout process there is no option that allows you to obtain a SIM with a new number.  The options are:-  Keep my number and switch on sim arrival. Keep my number and switch now, or lose my number and switch now.  How am I supposed to get a new number without switching anything?  Many Thanks
