Holiday in india, It appears I can use my 5g data for free in India, however calls and sms is charged, if I just disable roaming calls and sms on the id app, does this mean  I can still use the data on my plan for messenger and Internet services etc for free? My daughter has today gone to Italy - I’d checked her ID account has Data Roaming enabled (and that Italy was one of the included countries), and her iPhone settings has Data Roaming switched on but she still cannot connect to any network.Any ideas on how to resolve?

I am in US and have contacted customer service to get access to my paid add on roaming. It doesn't work.

Hi, Just been to Holland for a few days, on arrival in Europe i had no access to data because Data Roaming was turned off before my arrival.  I am unable to turn it on, i also do not have any Mobile Network information, it is all greyed out.  Roaming is turned on in the ID mobile app. I’ve reset network settings, turned the phone and wifi on and off, but to no avail.  How do i turn it on?Also, I have no SIM Card details registered in my settings, i’ve taken the SIM card out and put it back in. Could this be linked to the Data Roaming issue above?Have checked my wife’s mobile as she is with ID, she has data roaming and Mobile Networks, and also SIM card details.Can you help please?  Thanks.

Take care when close to a country that is not covered in your plan!## set your bill capping to zero ##I traveled to Southern Spain (roaming included) but on 1 day suddenly started to ‘use chargeable services whilst roaming’.I did not receive a message to say that I was connected to Morocco! (not included in the plan).I bought an add on for data guessing that this was the problem- but it was not.I only realised what had happened once I had my billI was capped at £45 ? luckilyI have just dealt with an agent and can not receive a refund for services that I have used!The main help given is to set bill capping to 0 when roaming- I wish I had known

Why do you have variable roaming allowances for abroad e.g 1 day, 5 day, 10day  etc. I am going to Canada for 6 days but the only option is 5 days, but other countries have longer. 

I turned my phone on while in France and it immediately sent me a text saying I have used my £45 roaming spend cap. It has charged me £45. Roaming is included in the my plan so I shouldn't be charged anything. 

I have just read that from the start of October 2024 I can use my full uk data allowance whilst roaming in Europe.  Specifically Spain.  Is this correct?  Is this my 50gb or also my rolled over data from last month too?Thanks

I have travelled to Rome and can't access my mobile data. International roaming is enabled in the id app but my phone won't let me turn on roaming. The option is greyed out. 

Been online chat twice and not much help. My phone option for data roaming is greyed out, I’ve been to Spain and corfu but couldn’t turn it on so I could use emails, WhatsApp etc without wifi. the people on the chat said they’d pass it to technical but they were no good either. Asking me to try it abroad even though I’ve told them the option is greyed out. I’ve put my sim in the old phone and that works with no option. Therefore how do I get round this 

We are doing several longer trips to the EU in our motorhome this year and I’m trying to get confirmation of how I can stretch out my roaming usage, so I don’t exceed the 63 days allowed within any 4 month period. I’ve already used 51 days in February and March. Now we’re home for about 5 weeks and then heading out again early May, to be away 6-8 weeks. If I understand correctly, I can have roaming turned off for most of the days in the  EU (instead using WIFI or hotspot off another device) and carefully count the days when I use my data allowance, to make sure I stay within the 63 days.BUT as far as I understand, I can still make and receive calls and text messages while data roaming is turned off? If someone was to call or text me, would that be counted as a “roaming day” by ID – or is it only data roaming days that count?If I was to exceed the 63 days, at what point would I get the 14 days warning? I have used my phone successfully twice in Europe this year. My phone is enabled to roam and no settings have been changed. I am in Southern Italy and am unable to make calls. In my Roaming "SIM settings" it says  my "Mobile Network Service" is disconnected. Why is this?My wife is  with IDmobile and has exactly the same issue also, so it is not an isolated issue.  What is the cause?

I am on holiday in Greece (Kos) and received a text to say welcome to Greece but then received another one to say welcome to Turkey. Turkey is chargeable, does anyone know how I can change this back? 

Hi I have no roaming but despite being in a roam free destination. I can’t use the chat or internet so it’s impossible to get hold of anyone.  roaming is set up on my phone.  

I'm currently in new zealand, i had purchased a 20g roaming package for new Zealand, once at Christchurch Airport 2 days ago I switch everything on and it automatically connected to One NZ had 4 bars and 5g however it wouldn't let me text, call or use the Internet no matter what i tried. I had to purchase a Maya Mobile esim which connected to the same network and instantly was able to communicate and arrange my onward travel from the airport,  about 7 times I tried to use ID chat bot without success and twice I eventually spoke to customer service via live chat as they were closed when I arrived in NZ however on both occasions the ID staff went silent on me droppng of the radar after getting me to forget One NZ and connecting manually to Spark. Hi, I don’t plan on using my mobile while travelling unless connected to wifi - I travelled to Morocco, switched my phone on and got bombarded by texts from ID mobile saying I had used 80% of my spending cap, bear in mind I have roaming off. After an hour on live chat over WiFi, the agent said they can’t check what the charge is until 09/04, over a week after I return home? This is a time sensitive issue and no help is available.I  don’t know or want the charge. If I have paid for some type of international use charge then I don’t even know what I can use since no one can help until after I return home.No email to contact anyone, I can’t use the customer phone number since I’m abroad? What’s the solution here?

I did put a message on here earlier but it has since disappeared and I can’t read the reply. i received two texts saying i was being charged for data roaming - but I’m still in the Uk on the Norfolk coast! I have never had this happen before. Please can I have some reassurance I’ve not been charged because I have not been away anywhere! thanks 

I'm trying to use an iD Mobile sim in a TP Link M7350. I'm pretty certain that it worked when I set it up in the UK but now that I'm in France, it connects but won't allow any internet access. Any suggestions.

I’m visiting Australia and Antigua within the next 6 months, will I be charged roaming fees?Both of the above are on the international roaming list, but I’m not 100% certain this means I won’t be charged when visiting. 

I have purchased 2 ID SIM cards for use in our iPads when we are away in Europe.roaming is turned on in the ID app & on both the iPads but I cannot access the internet, I get a message ‘could not activate mobile data network’everything works ok if I put my O2 sim in the iPad.can anyone help?thanks in advance

My wife is currently in Morocco. She purchased a roam beyond add on before she arrived but is worried it isn’t working because her current bill is showing over £100.Does anyone know what may have happened? She’s trying to use the contact us link but it won’t load.

I am in Germany, and my IPad cellular is no service, works fine in UK, spoke to chatbot did reset network settings, roaming on and off, restart IPad, reinstall SIM card etc.interestingly it works fine in the iPhone but not on my IPad mini 6, but works on the IPad fine in UK.please can this be solved as when I signed up I was told it would work fine, which it does for the UK looks like it’s an EU problem.Thank you

wife & I both have accounts, neither of us can phone South Africa. I have £25.00 on cap to pay. Have spoken to 3 live chat, after resetting network still nothing, then took out sim, turned phone on & off in flight mode & load of other stuff still nothing.International calls & premium calls turned on.Help please.
