    I ported my number to ID mobile and imessage and facetime do not work. So i have tried numerous times now where i have: signed out of imessage / facetime switched off imessage and facetime deleted network settings restarted phone, and switched the services back on and still nothing. I get “An error occurred during activation. Try again.” Works fine with email but not my phone number so know its an ID mobile issue trying to connecting to apple system, before it was trying to activate as would see a spinning sign next to my number but now it just fails activation immediately. I also asked for a new e-sim but that also did not fix the issue. I have raised a ticket with ID mobile but its been 3 days now and no update. I have seen other threads with similar issues, like this one: I told the customer rep that this person sooper got tech support to fix this issue and they managed to resolve it, took some time to get them to raise the ticket which they did, but unsure what to do now, has anyon

    imessage and Facetime activation error

    Moved physical SIM to new iPhone 16, completed transfer, issue with iMessage and FaceTime activation error. Have tried all of the help posted here and via Apple, none of which has resolved the problem. When I joined ID mobile I ported my number in about 18 months ago. Funnily enough for a short period of time the mobile number offered on iMessage and FaceTime was that pre ported number. I believe the issue is with the sim yet I cannot get past all the automation to actually speak with a real human being to check. I am losing the will to live. Any suggestions please on best route to contact ID mobile as I’ve exhausted all of the. Upgrade to latest iOS, sign out of Apple account, deselect the iMessage and FaceTime account, force a hard restart, check the mobile number is correct, ensure the time is correct ……….. and the rest.

    iPhone 16 Pro iMessage and FaceTime not working

    Hi I just recently upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro from an iPhone 13 Pro. I have been with iD for a while now and it was working perfectly fine on my old iPhone 13 Pro. However, since upgrading my iPhone I’ve noticed I’m no longer receiving iMessage’s to my number and everything is coming through as text messages when sent to my mobile number. I have looked at the settings and it keeps stating that Activation is unsuccessful with my iD number and seems to cause it to fail to activate. Even trying to put the iD SIM back into my old iPhone 13 Pro also causes activation to fail suggesting it’s something to do with the SIM/number. I have noticed other topics on this forum and tried to follow through as many of the steps as possible including signing out of iCloud, taking out my sim and leaving the phone off for a while, and turning iMessage and FaceTime off before reactivating and nothing has worked which is extremely frustrating. iMessage is working fine on both my email addresses that were

    Hello,I have been having this issue for a very long time. It all started with me trying to send some normal SMS to anyone (by anyone I mean normal people or short numbers to activate some services for myself), and I always get that the message is not delivered, so I went over to my carrier and after several calls nothing was solved, I went over to my Iphone 12 pro settings to check on imessage settings and it kept saying that it is verifying and loading forever and tried every solution there on the internet nothing was solved. Then after checking my signin and security page on my phone I found out that the number says that it is (Unavailable for iMessage and FaceTime).     Bought an I’d mobile transferred from vodaphone. Now no iMessage FaceTime working. Switched it off did the restart. Did the remove the sim etc. Driving me mental. Want to get rid of it and send it back? What am I doing wrong. Shouldn’t be this hard!!!

    I really need help with this or will be returning the phone. I have gone from Vodafone to ID. Did the whole PAC thing. I have managed to get everything transferred over. Phone calls and texts work fine. But i cant get the imessage thing to work. I have followed all the recommended steps. Switching off/on. Taking the sim out and force restarting.     Ported my number back in November and FaceTime and iMessage hasn’t worked from the start. I have gone through different threads signed out and signed into my Apple ID removed the number and added the number again etc but still no iMessage or FaceTime. this exact same thing happened the last time I joined ID 3-4 years ago and was told something wasn’t ’enabled in my account’ and was sorted overnight. really quite irritating that this doesn’t just work immediately I purchased the contract with the new iPhone meaning I would always expect IMessage and FaceTime to be used.

    I recently transferred my old number to an ID mobile e-sim. However, I am having trouble sending messages and activating or using IMessage and FaceTime. When trying to text, my messages do not send and bounce back. When trying to connect iMessage, it states activation unsuccessful. I have tried network resets, checking numbers etc as advised online but nothing is working! Is it something to do with the sim not 100% transferring over properly? I checked my ID account and my number registered is the correct one.

    I recently transferred to id, porting my old number across. The eSIM is activated and the ported number is working for everything. However, the number shown as My Number in Settings-Mobile Service is the one assigned by id and I am unable to change it manually. I have checked that the correct number (ie my old one) is registered with FaceTime, iMessage etc. is this a problem and can I change the number shown under My Number?

    New to ID and my ohone doesnt work

    changed from o2 to ID mobile ( got new iPhone 16 pro max) First sim you sent didn’t work said I had no service the phone was running solely off wifi only. I cannot send any iMessages or FaceTime anyone. I can only use SMS text message not iMessages. Tried all the steps and network resets in settings. You have sent another sim, same problem, tried all the fixes and setting changes still nothing! I have today put this new ID sim into my old phone (iPhone 13 pro max) and everything works fine?? Why does the ID service and network not work in my brand new phone ( iPhone 16 pro max?).

    I’ve just switched to IDMobile, but I can’t make or receive calls ( I can get online and also send IMessages and FaceTime Call ). Ive tried adjusting my settings, but nothing has changed. I am wondering if my ancient IPhone 5c is the problem? I can use 4G and the services I’ve already mentioned though - is that right? Thanks for any advice offered.

    Not receiving text messages after porting over number

    I ported over my number 6days ago. I can make and receive calls, but I’m unable to receive texts/ iMessages or use FaceTime. I’ve followed the instructions on the FAQ, I’ve contacted Apple support going over all the instructions regarding turning off iMessage FaceTime, rebooting then turning off and restarting. Also reset Network none of this has worked. Tried the chat app but robo chat going round in circles. This is so frustrating. There is nobody to talk to. Can anyone suggest something

    ported number still not linked to iiphone 2 weeks after port

    It’s 2 weeks since I ported my old number to my phone but my phone still shows the new ID mobile number as the associated number, not the ported one. This will soon cause iMessage and Facetime to stop working, not sure what else. I have tried other advice here: turning off iMessage and FaceTime , turning phone off and on again, but always the new number shows in settings and I can’t change it.

    iMessage activation error after porting

    I ported my number from Vodafone to iD on Tuesday (01/10/24), I’m able to make/receive phone calls and SMS texts but I’m still having problems getting iMessage and FaceTime to work. I have tried every trouble shooting solution; I’ve turned iMessage on/off several times, reset network settings, hard reset the phone, taken the SIM out and inserted it again and even erased and set the phone up again. iMessage and FaceTime both work with my iCloud email address, but it is SO frustrating not being able to use my phone number. I rely on iMessage a lot for both business and personal. I spoke to Apple who said that the carrier is the issue and there’s nothing more they could do that I hadn’t already tried, I’m inclined to believe them because iMessage/Facetime are working with my email address I have contacted iD who have advised to get a new SIM card, I’ll be doing that later today but does anyone have anything else I could try in the meantime? Thank you!
