I am following the instructions to activate a replacement sim.The activation is in progress and I am supposed to receive a text once it’s complete. Will that come on my new sim or old, in other words should I put the new sim in the phone now or wait for the text?

I switched my phone in January and I thought it was just because I lived in the countryside but my 4G coverage is terrible and I don’t get 5G at all. I’m wondering if something went wrong in the switch over because I’m still getting messages from O2 saying that my bill is ready to view even though I cancelled the direct debit etc so I don’t pay anything. I also couldn’t make any phone calls so I definitely think there is something wrong in the set up of the esim

Hi, I am leaving my business after many years and will take my works phone number with me. I have the PAC details.  How do I transfer my works number to my new phone? 

I had a sim only with ID and changed to a new Samsung phone deal and contract with ID. When collecting my phone from Currys, I was told that I wasn't able to keep my number changing between sim only deal and contract. The shop advised me to port my number to Lebara and then port it back to my ID contract Samsung phone. So I did.Now when I make calls, occasionally my temp ID contract number will show on other people's phones. In the phone settings, it says that my ported number, the number I wanted to keep, is my correct number.I am travelling to Spain this week and am worried that there might be problems, but also wish to resolve this situation.  Any ideas, please?

Just switched from a different network and I brought my number with me. I've received text and email from ID to let me know the switch was successful.  I restarted my phone as instructed and my phone calls are perfect. My sms texts are still saying they are coming from the number that came with the sim card I received.  The thing is... I entered a comp via text before I was made aware of this!! What if they needed to let me know I'd won?? (You never know!!) They would have an incorrect number if they tried to phone it

Got a pixel 9a and esim all fully updated. When I make a call drops at 2mins 5secs every time. Didn't have this problem on Vodafone 

Hi, I have found a deal for a new contract I am interested in. It’s for an ID Mobile contract, but sold via a 3rd party website.I am on an existing, rolling 1 monthly, SIM only deal with ID Mobile. I’d like to port my number across to this new contract.Have requested a PAC code but, when trying to enter it when purchasing the new contract, I receive the message “It looks like you want to switch your number on the network you already use.You can’t use a PAC code on a network you already use. Consider upgrading your tariff or contact your network directly to discuss.” What is the best way to proceed with this so I keep my number but ‘switch’ over to this new plan?

Recently broke my iPhone 14, have now got a new one but can’t seem to transfer my esim onto the new phone. Old one doesn’t work at all, need a new QR code to scan to reactivate esim on my new phone: how do I do this??

Good morning I have recently joined ID mobile. I’ve had an eSIM which failed to activate so I have now got a physical Sim which still won’t activate. I spoke to about five different people and still no joy. Is there any way someone can try and help me get this activated as I’m disabled and rely on my phone

I’ve tried to scan the QR code for the eSIM, but it takes me to a wizard to set a plan up on a wearable (not to install the eSIM to the phone). I can’t follow the steps to manually add the eSIM as there is no option to manually add an eSIM in the connection settings (everything is greyed out as per attached photos). It seems like the phone isn’t compatible with an eSIM (although online states it should be). Can anyone help? Can I get a physical sim instead? 

Can someone help me, it's urgent.I received a new phone yesterday, and at the Currys store I requested to transfer my old number to the new iD SIM. They completed the process and informed me that the number would be transferred by 8 a.m. the next day.Everything seemed fine — this morning at 8 a.m., my new phone started showing my old number. When I make calls from the new phone (using only the new iD SIM), people see my old number, so that part looks OK.But here's the problem: no one can call me. When someone tries to call my number, the call goes to my old phone with the old SIM — the one I transferred the number from. And if I turn off the old phone, callers hear a message like “phone is switched off” or similar.So what should I do?My new iD SIM shows the correct (old) number and can make calls, but I can’t receive any. I’ve already tried restarting the phone, switching it off, resetting the networ

My SIM card has never arrived and I can’t contact anyone to get it sent? 

I obtained and activated a replacement sim from Curry's. After 24 hours it is still not active.

my replacement sim was collected from curry's and will not activate in samsung s20 phone.It's sends a code which doesnt arrive because obviously I'm not connected... saying it may take a few minutes to arrive, meanwhile a timer starts counting with a 90 second cut off!I'm sick of the success! Message which appears no matter which way around I go.The live chat sent me down the same path, offering a method if inputting a sim code but again out of reach ending with success!!! We've sent you a code you cant receive…Yesterday had to put a payg sim in which worked without any messing, it just worked, well done EE!Today I put the ID sim on restarted phone and uninstall app etc still no joy. Same Success! Loop which I've seen 30 times now.I cant wait for Monday when I will bin this id garbage and join a proper network, I've paid a month already and not even connected its the worst experience ever.There's no need to have people jumping through

Hi All,I have switched to iD Mobile and ported my number.  All has gone well for me.  However one thing in the iPhone settings, under mobile service it still lists the temporary phone number iD Mobile gave me on signup it has not switched to the number I ported.  It appears you can manually change the number but the save does not work.  I have restarted the phone but nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?many thanks,Paul

I have some strange activity on phone with battery,  Data & WiFi usage1: Extremely high usage2: APPs that should be disabled still bleeding me dry3: Battery drains fast & extremely slow to replenish4: Work accounts, Captive portal, many Overlays, Random DNS5: WiFi connects to Data, even when all disabled and many miles from home6: In Data, I add name and it then applies the last 4* digits of my phone number (E.G. IssuesForMe 2884) and I can't remove the 2884.  Google tells me this is some config setup to do with WiFi / Network accounts...  I am lost with all this but someone is at it and resetting phone daily etc.  losing photos etc.  could be flatmate as WiFi etc all in open space  Any help appreciated   

Morning!I’ve recently joined ID and asked to retain my old number. This has been successful but my IPhone settings still say that my number is the one that was originally issued by ID.  Does anyone know how to change this?  I’ve rebooted at least 10 times to no avail!TIA

Hi guys been stuck for 2 days now  I stupidly dropped my original sim and couldn’t find it , so then requested a replacement online which suggested a visit curry’s to get one. In the meantime I tried to get the eSIM but it would not deliver to my email and when it did I had around 5 eSIM requests come through to my email.  Tried to activate an eSIM but always failed to activate.  went to Meadowhall yesterday into curry’s and got a replacement sim and tried to activate it but keeps saying that the sim is activated already. Went back into curry’s and explained so they gave me another sim. Still the same saying already registered. This is all through the app trying to register it.  I went in live chat last night and they said I needed to wait 1 hour as the eSIM had activated even though it suggested it had t in my iPhone. I have deleted all eSIM from my phone and reset network settings. So waited over an hour and re tried to activat
