Number not ported properly Signed up for ID mobile account and requested to port my old number to ID. This was set to happen on the 7th June. My old number stopped working on my old sim, so I checked to see if the number was now on my ID sim. It wasn’t. Spoke to someone on 8th June who told me that my number had ported to ID, but it just needed linking to my account, and that it would take up to 48 hours for this to happen. After 48 hours the number had still not been linked to my account. I got in touch with customer care again, who told me to wait another 24 / 48 hours. They couldn’t explain why it had not been done in the initial time frame I was given.When I asked to speak to management about my complaint, I was disconnected from the chat. The next agent I spoke to, said they were working from home and couldn’t pass me on to a manager. At this point I gave up. So as it stands, at the moment, no one can contact me on my main number. I can’t receive OTP codes etc..ID’s answer to this is to offer me £10 credit on my account. Pretty useless really… Not a great introduction to iD Mobile.
