Account suspended, payment taken then returned. Has anyone else had this happen? I changed my direct debit instruction, namely a change of bank, in ample time, with 3 weeks until the next installment. All seemed to go normally, with the money taken. Then it was immediately repaid back into my account as unpaid, even though the funds had been successfully taken. The bank account was funded, in credit, with more than enough to cover the DD. I contacted my bank the next day who said the problem was at ID mobiles end. Im not sure how true this is, as they seemed as confused as to why the DD would fail as I was, given the funds were there, and probably just didnt want the hassle of dealing with it. I do not want to pay in any other way than Direct Debit. That is what I set the account up as & this is the only way I intend to pay, however it says I can only change my DD instruction once every six months, so cannot change the instruction again & am thus denied service.
