I have recently tried moving my number to Vodafone but the pac is not valid. Vodafone have suggested contacting ID and asking them to cancel the current PAC and issue a new one. I have called ID twice today and received no actual help to resolve my issue.
I should have had my number activated yesterday 27th June but nothing has happened. PAC was issued when I moved networks.
I’ve switched mine & my kids SIM cards from Sky to ID Mobile. My son’s having issues transferring his old number. He has tried twice & it keeps saying there are issues but all of the details are correct & the PAC code was only generated last week so is still in date. What can we do as he needs his original number? Mine & my daughters have switched with no issues.
I tried to change my number to my old number.I went to curry’s for my brand new phone and they said it will be done in 3 days. Its been 3 months now and when I tried to use a new pack code it says I should wait longer.I don’t know why its doing this.If anyone can help that’s good.Thank you for reading
My pac code doesn’t expire until 2/1/2025. I have been told I need to get a new one
Ordered new SIM, have PAC code for my old O2 number and have input transaction number (yes, it begins with a 4) and yet it keeps coming up with an error message that ID are “unable to process PAC as information is incorrect” the information is correct. I tried registering my account on the app using the provided ID mobile number but then that says details do not match records. Could someone please assist?
when entering pac code message says We've tried to process your PAC, but there is an issue with the information you've submitted.
I am having an issue switching my phone number from my old provider to ID. The website threw an error after I enter my PAC Number originally, however I received a text indicating the switch would happen yesterday, so I trusted it to occur, which it did not. I now have no way to contact you for support, as your chat bot isn’t helpful in this scenario, and wont let me speak to a human. I’ve also had issues creating this query on the forum adding to the frustration. Any support would be much appreciated!
Here you can find out everything you need to know about how to cancel an account on behalf of someone else following significant life events: The account holder has passed away. If you’re a relative or friend of someone who has recently passed away, we’re very sorry for your loss. It’s a difficult time, and your loved one’s phone network shouldn’t add to that. We want to make the process for closing their phone plan and disconnecting the line as hassle free as possible. Here’s what you need to do: The account holder has been deployed for military service. When you let us know that a customer has been deployed for military service, collection of any money owed will be placed on hold for 21 days. You’ll have those 21 days to provide evidence that the customer has been deployed overseas. If you fail to provide evidence in this time, collections will restart. The types of evidence we’ll accept are: An Armed Forces contract suspension form from their unit Welfare Officer. An official Minist
First time ID mobile user and have switched my number over using PAC. I’m having issues with my text messages showing as not delivered but the other person is receiving them. I’ve turned the phone off and on as advised and the same with the sim but nothing is working. Thanks in advance
I’m trying to bring my old phone number with me from O2 to ID. The PAC code O2 gave me has failed and their systems say it’s no longer an O2 number so they can’t issue a PAC code. My account with them is now closed. O2 tried to activate a temporary eSIM and allocate that number but it no longer exists on their system so they can’t. Long story short after over 10 hours of politely requesting their assistance and raising complaints nothing has moved forwards and it’s now 3 weeks later. I really don’t want to lose my number any helpful suggestions welcome
Hi, i have recently had some problems as i bought my mum a new contract and didnt upgrade her original one so have had to do the third party swap to try and keep her number as she runs a buisness from it. Her number has now been swapped over to a gif gaf sim. Had no issues with this, it has been swapped a few days so yesterday i requested a pac. Again, no issues. Now i am trying to swap the number from giffgaf to the id mobile contract it isnt letting me. Keeps saying that there is an issues with the information or that if i did it when i purchased the sim the transfer will be underway - but i didnt do this. I have checked all the info and it is correct. What do i do now?
I've been trying since last Tuesday - text 65075, use app, phone customer complaints, speak to agent in live chat. None work. Keep getting 'we've encountered an issue with your PAC request...'. they can't tell me what the issue is. So I've decided to cancel the contract and go to O2 without the code. It's annoying because I now have to reset the phone number in every account that uses it for ID. Very poor customer service
Have been on this network for several months, but last couple of days I can’t make or receive any calls. WhatsApp works fine. Nothing else has changed- any suggestions? thanks
Hi I’m trying to switch to ID Mobile and getting an error when trying to submit the PAC code “Your PAC code will expire before we can process your switch. This could lead to switching failure or a loss of services, please request a new PAC code from your old network.” I’ve tried using it today 5/7, but I get an error message that the PAC code will expire before the transfer is completed. And the form is not submitted. My existing provider say the PAC code is valid until 11/7 and they cannot issue another, until after that date. There are full 5 days left on this PAC code. ID mobile expect the transfer to be one working day. So how do I use the PAC code ?
I'm out of contract tomorrow and have found a deal with IDmobile via USwitch. Ideally though I'd just upgrade through the IDmobile app, but the exact same phone is not offered on the same tariff/price. Can I request PAC and give to IDmobile assuming I buy via USwitch, even if I'm already with IDmobile? Thanks
Hi I recently became a victim of PAC fraud. I received a text message detailing my PAC code and I should pass this on to my new provider. I contacted ID mobile via the chat function and was told it was probably an error and to ignore it. Less than 24 hours later I received another text message informing me that my contract was now cancelled and my final balance is £411. Then my mobile phone went to emergency calls only an the only thing I have working is WhatsApp. I contacted ID an they told me my number had been taken and they would attempt to get it back. In the meantime the scammer has tried to access my bank accounts and tried to set up Paypal credit and Klarna credit using my number. Luckily I was able to block my accounts and I did not respond to the Paypal and Klarna requests for passwords or clicking any links. I am now 7 days without any signal on my phone and ID just keep telling me that they are working to get my number back from 3 mobile. When am I likely to get my number b
I have been trying since Friday 13th June 2025. We have tried on app, online and live chat. Nothing works. Under Ofcom regulations, I am entitled to receive my PAC code within one working day. It's literally in the law. Seems like delay tactics. Has anyone found a solution to this. I will be reporting this to the Ombudsman.
I've switched my old I'd mobile mobile to the 3 network and want to switch it back to the new I'd mobile contract I have. But it says there was a problem with the details
I bought a new phone with contract last week but the phone is not suitable. So I’ve spoke to them and I have to return it it will be be cancelled and my number which I brought from o2 will revert to a payg. I was told to either go elsewhere with my number then after a month I can then bring the number back to Idmobile. I don’t want to have to change my number and I don’t have a spare phone and my friends don’t. im not brilliantly tech these days and can’t get my head round this. can anyone come up with a solution for me please thanks
Hi Wonder if anyone can help, while trying to switch my number over to ID from Three i get the following.. Your PAC code will expire before we can process your switch. This could lead to switching failure or a loss of services, please request a new PAC code from your old network. My PAC from three expires 15/12/2024, I have been on live chat and they refuse to extend it making me request a new on when this one expires! Can anyone help with this
Absolute disgrace of a service. I am waiting 11 days already trying to get my PAC code. No emails have been received, can’t use my original phone number as they are are holding it. Can’t access my banks and any other services as they are linked to my mobile number. They keep saying there are tech issues, wait 48 hours, then another 48 hours, then 72 hours. Registered compliant, now waiting another 72 hours.I am getting absolutely nowhere with them. How difficult is it to get PAC code…. I don’t owe them anything, just want to get my number back. Never again.
Hi , need help regarding my wife’s new sim card , I’ve tried unsuccessfully to transfer her old number . I’ve rechecked the PAC number and transaction number supplied is correctly entered but it keeps throwing out. Any help will be appreciated.👍
I requested a PAC yesterday, I get it but didn't use it, since I received my service is gone. Can't make calls, can't recive calls, no data. I have spoken to the customer service she couldn't help either. Forwarded my issue to some technical department. She said might take 48hours. Without WiFi I am not able to do anything.
