Can’t make or receive any calls since three fiasco.

Over the past few weeks, I have been attempting to obtain assistance from the agents through the chat, but unfortunately, their efforts have been largely unsuccessful. Despite their insistence that everything is in order, both my partner and I are unable to make or receive calls. I have engaged with Apple, who conducted tests on both our devices (16 Pro Max) both remotely and in-store, and were unable to identify any hardware or software issues. Apple suggested that we consider using an eSIM instead of a physical SIM, as they are often more reliable. I attempted to obtain an eSIM through the app, which appeared to be a relatively straightforward process. However, none of the eSIMs were activated. They would remain on the “activating with network” status for several hours, followed by a message indicating that the activation had failed. I contacted iD, who requested that I uninstall the eSIM and attempt a new one. Unfortunately, the same issue persisted, and they were unable to send add

    Customer Service unacceptable

I can't express how annoyed i am with this company. You can’t even log a complaint easily and limited to the number of characters you can add, and even after clicking submit it just opens up a chat window! Speaking of chat. On every occasion I've tried to use chat i’m sat waiting for a response 3-5 mins each time. You’re just wasting your time while the agent doesn’t give a stuff about you and reads from a script which has nothing to do with your query. On one occasion i joined the chat at 7.30pm and knew it would close at 8. I said straight away to transfer me to the correct department, but that conversation took 15 mins before they transferred me….I then spoke to someone who doesn’t seem to actually read messages and by the time it got to 8 they said the relevant team isn’t there anymore. Who at ID mobile thinks this is remotely ok? I also have a contract for my son, but i’m unable to get a correct PAC number which actually works. It seems impossible to leave them. If there is anyone

    intermittent calls and data outages

In the last few weeks my data connection has been very hit and miss. Constantly dropping in and out. The last week has been worse, even before the storms and now when making or receiving calls the person at the other end only gets every other word! I know I live fairly remotely but it's fast becoming an issue as I use my phone for work purposes too. By the looks of it others have been having similar issues and their queries on any compensation have been avoided in I.Ds replies. Not great I.D

    Can't receive MFA calls

My work requires a Multi-factor authentication call in order for me to access work systems remotely. This has worked fine in the past, but the calls are not getting through to me now. IT support at work say there is a problem with MFA on Three networks but I haven’t been able to verify this. Any ideas?

    Voicemail problems

Recently changed from 3 to iD Mobile, porting my number. I am using an iPhone 12. I have set up voicemail and it is very erratic. I am missing calls, which go straight to voicemail. Just now I got the text advising receipt of a voicemail, but cannot connect when dialling the voicemail number so cannot get to the message. However I can make other calls. Voicemail number auto sets on +447782333123. I have tried a soft re-set on the phone, toggling Airplane mode, toggling WI-FI calling, taking out and reinserting the SIM card, but no luck. Help please!

No calls in home location but okay in other locations

I cannot make calls or receive calls from home. There are plenty of signal bars and I can receive texts and data. When I try to call there is no ringing sound and after 30 secs the signal bar goes to zero, and then it says mobile network not available. The calls work as normal away from home, the phone is set on 4G, I have had a replacement sim fitted and have been on the chat three times, have been told twice “I’ll escalate this to our technical team and they’ll be in touch within the next two days” but haven’t heard anything. It would seem to me that the tower I use at home has a fault in processing my calls. Please how can I get my phone working.

iPhone 16 Pro iMessage and FaceTime not working

Hi I just recently upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro from an iPhone 13 Pro. I have been with iD for a while now and it was working perfectly fine on my old iPhone 13 Pro. However, since upgrading my iPhone I’ve noticed I’m no longer receiving iMessage’s to my number and everything is coming through as text messages when sent to my mobile number. I have looked at the settings and it keeps stating that Activation is unsuccessful with my iD number and seems to cause it to fail to activate. Even trying to put the iD SIM back into my old iPhone 13 Pro also causes activation to fail suggesting it’s something to do with the SIM/number. I have noticed other topics on this forum and tried to follow through as many of the steps as possible including signing out of iCloud, taking out my sim and leaving the phone off for a while, and turning iMessage and FaceTime off before reactivating and nothing has worked which is extremely frustrating. iMessage is working fine on both my email addresses that were

    Voicemail constantly deleting outgoing message!

For a long time now my ID Mobile voicemail outgoing message gets deleted and I have to re-record and save a new one. Each time it is confirmed as working and I test it now and again by phoning myself. This is extra annoying because it is only when someone I know lets meit’s gone know that I realise I have to deal with it once more…. This is nothing to do with a full message box (I only get a few messages per month and I clear them regularly anyway). I have seen other users comment on the same issue. So when is ID Mobile going to fix this?

How can I track my delivery?

Want to track your delivery? We’ve got you covered! Here’s how to track your order and know exactly when it’ll arrive: I ordered a Phone or Accessory (DPD). If you’ve ordered a Phone or Accessory, DPD will send you updates via email. This email might show that your delivery is coming from Currys (our parent company). On the delivery day, you’ll receive an email and/or SMS from DPD with your one-hour delivery slot and your unique PIN. You can also find your PIN in the DPD app. Check out the Community article below for more helpful information: Please note: If you live in a remote area that falls outside DPD's one-hour delivery time slot service, you won't receive a text. I ordered a SIM (Royal Mail). If you’ve ordered a SIM Only Deal or a replacement SIM, it will be delivered by Royal Mail with a tracked service. You’ll receive email updates, and your delivery should arrive within 2-3 working days. If it hasn’t arrived by then, check out the Community article below for more helpful info

Where is the list of roaming partner networks by country?

I’ve been searching in vain for information about which partner network(s) ID uses in each country. All questions about roaming generate multiple answers concerning how to enable roaming, how much it will cost and what packages are available to control costs, but very little about which networks are going to be used in the destination country. This matters because in remote or mountainous areas, not all networks that operate in the country are likely to have coverage. I have encountered this in the Austrian Tirol for example. So before going abroad I want to know which partner network I am likely to connect to and look up the coverage map to assure myself that it will work. Does anyone know where a table of partner networks by country is available, both for ID and for any other operator from whom I might buy a PAYG ESIM?

4G - Almost unusably awful service

I've just switched from Lycamobile, who I used to get a steady 35-40mbps with, to ID. My router has line of sight to the mast located at 54.2522, -1.2056 which can be pasted into Google Maps. This is a fairly remote rural area, and most residents are old enough to remember the English civil war. I get full five bars of signal continously. The service I'm getting with ID is horrendous - the first speed test gave 8mbps, now they consistently give under 2mbps, and the service “dies” every hour or two, requiring a reboot of the router to reconnect. Is this just how it is and why it's cheap, or is there some kind of network maintenance happening?

Phone reception getting progressively worse and almost unusable

My phone coverage is getting worse and worse. Indoors I get nothing and out I can sometimes message. Occasionally I can make calls but they always break up. This isn't an issue for a remote area, it is the same in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Dumfries. I have cleaned the SIM and no change. Tried my partners SIM and that works fine. I basically have a product that is unusable. Suggestions please.

SMS not fully working since transferring number accross from O2

I have just move to ID from O2 3 days ago with a new iPhone 13. Transferred my old number 2 days ago. I noticed that bank two factor authentication SmS codes were not being received. Spoke to ID and Apple, Apple have looked at the new phone through a remote screen share. I had an another new Sim this morning via Currys and reactivated by ID. Now iMessage does not work. When I look on iMessage “send and receive”. The phone is not able to verify the number transferred to the sim. When I swap the sim to another iPhone the same problem. I am presuming there is either in ID server problem, or the sim/number transfer has not fully worked and may need reconfigurating. I am now waiting for ID to reply following escalation to their technical team.

    Strange, VERY Strange Config

I've been experiencing some very strange activity on ID.Mobile Nothing Phone (2) device Sharing keeps enabling Captive Portal continues to be visible but I can't remove or see why it is even on phone Data keeps applying '2884' after my phone name Screen is so fast, flickering & can't navigate cleanly When I am out of town @ new property where I've no WiFi, my phone appears to connect to some random WiFI account through my data plan - I've so many unfamiliar APPs, that do not appear to be native to Android. Over 30 'Overlay' APPs Printers, PrintSpoolers, BluetoothMiDiServers, Broadcasters, Extensions, QTI, QualcommTunnels, Remote DeviceManager, FusedLocations, SwitchAccess, - Several WorkSetUp profiles - Four different SIM APPs (Manager, Toolkit, Contacts, Dialogue) - Multiple Google Assistant APPs, similar with Photos and VPN APPs. Just a very strange set up and looks like someone has access or somehow got an Esim added to phone

Requesting Advice on Transferring a Number [via PAC] to an existing account

Hey everyone - hoping someone can guide me on steps required to add an existing number with a different provider to an existing iDMobile account. Here’s where I got to:- I became an IDMobile customer about 3 months ago when I bought a new handset… and I got a new number for that phone [a Galaxy S25], operating on an eSIM. Now I want to transfer a number from my old provider [EE] to IDMobile. EE have given me a PAC and I have the “transaction number for switching” from my original “Welcome to iD” email. The thing is… I’m not sure if it is safe/correct for me to use that “transaction number” [it has not previously been used for a switch]. I had a look at the “Switching to iD Mobile” and “How do I switch to iD Mobile from another provider using PAC or STAC?” but neither of these contemplate a scenario where I may also be an existing ID Mobile customer. The end state I want to reach is: both new / existing ID Mobile number and old/EE number on the S25 Retain the existing ID Mobile number o

    Port-out pin

Reading in the newspaper at the weekend of people who have been scammed following successful attempts to take over their phone number. Can be called a SIM swap scam. Recommended is a preventative move ie to ask the phone provider to set up a ‘port-out PIN’. To be used whenever a port out is requested. IDMobile send a PAC code when a port out is requested, as do others, so I dont see that this is sufficient - I want to prevent a pac code from being issued unless a specific port-out password is used to request it. IDMobile do not have such a port-out password. They do have what they call ‘extra security’. There does not seem to be a link to any info about it. (from ‘live-chat’). Does anyone have any feedback on this, as to whether it is going in fact to add protection against SIM-swap scams. thanks for any info
