Bought a 12 month data only sim for my brand new iPad Air at Currys shop 4 weeks ago, went abroad (Greece) no roaming. Came home, went to Curry’s shop who contacted ID but no resolution. Problem is can’t get a PIN code to activate ID app because iPad won't receive texts. Been to Apple shop and they say that they don't support ID mobile. I find on this website a statement by ID employee (Tyler) who states that ID “ don’t support cellular functions with our SIM cards in any devices outside our approved handset devices”. I have tried to cancel my contract but told not possible. An obvious case of mis-selling. Next stop Trading Standards. Unless someone can provide a solution quickly.

Last night I upgraded my SIM contract using a link on my account. The upgrade is not showing on my plans and I'm not unsure if it has been processed or if it didn't go through. Impossible to contact anyone via the chat. There are no agents available etc. I do not want to have two ID contracts! Could someone contact me please.

I have bought my daughter a new iPhone and monthly contract, moving from Vodafone to ID mobile. I requested the PAC from Vodafone a few days ago and was told this valid for 30 days (til 30th May). I picked up new phone yesterday from curry’s and was advised by a member of staff that as soon as daughters old phone stopped working (number ported), the new phone/contract would start (I questioned this as my understanding was that I could choose a date within those 30 days to “switch” - this is because my daughters birthday is on the 29th May so was hoping to do it nearer the time). Today I have received an email with a QR code saying the new e-sim is ready and once downloaded can take a few mins to set up. My question is do I need to do this now if her old phone is going to stop working, or will her old phone stop working when I download the new sim, meaning I can wait until nearer her actual birthday?? thanks in advance - have been with the same provider for decades so have never had to do this before!

I recently upgraded my phone with ID and part of the offer was an additional £200 cashback when you trade in your old phone. I sent on my old phone which you acknowledged that you received and I completed the paperwork as requested but 2 months later I have still not received the £200 . What do I do to chase this?

Hi, I am travelling to Montenegro which is outside the free list and have noted the charges it costs to use my plan outside of this. Does ID mobile not offer a daily plan to use this like other networks to make this more affordable? I.e a £2 cost additional to use this?

Since joining is my handset has had problems with receiving calls. The only way to hear is for me to put the phone on loud speaker at the start of call . If this is not done . I cannot speaks or hear the other person on the line . In addition to this the reception or quality of the line is very poor and almost all conversations the other person says the line is poor . I believe this is an issue with the handset which I am not at fault for . Please can this be reviewed . I have struggled to contact you earlier as it is difficult to get in contact with id mobile or know the correct reporting process

In the US on holiday and data cap immediately reached. Now unable to call 7777 to top up or change data cap, live chat isn’t connecting me to anyone despite being in hours just goes through the motions then never connects me to anyone and when I try to add data my app and id mobile.com want to send me a code to my phone which I can’t receive because of the breaches data cap. What a terrible system. I will be leaving ID after this. Wasted over an hour of my holiday already and lost my paid for airport taxi transfer. Maddening! can I call id mobile from someone else’s mobile to top up? Is there a way out of this loop!

Hi, I’ve just signed up yesterday based on all the good points being advertised. However once I’ve signed up, I realise I cannot use hotspot with the data, it doesn’t allow me to tether the hotspot. Then I found other people also have the same issue. This leads me want to cancel the contract because my purpose of having this extra number is so I can share the mobile data with my other devices. But when I try to cancel the contract, I was told I’ll still be liable for a huge bill regardless the check out page showed me 30day return? Can you please explain this? Thank you Chloe

Hi. I’m new to idmobile and the App worked for about a week then opened with gobbledygook. So I uninstalled the App then reinstalled it, but it wont open. It seems that the Captcha is blocking it as it goes in a loop and back to the beginning where I have to log in again, and start Captcha again. Can anybody suggest anything please?
