Hi - been on ID mobile for many months and I’ve suddenly stopped receiving OTPs from my bank (I receive them from other companies fine and texts work fine too between friends). I have seen previous threads here and have tried the Network Settings reset as-well as the manual toggling off of Automatic in Mobile Services (choosing ID from the list). I’ve contacted my bank who have contacted BT (who they use to send my OTP’s) and BT said it’s an issue with ID mobile as they can see SMS error (Code 213) which typically indicates temporary problem or lost reach (I’m on WiFi and strong City 5G so it’s not like I’m in the countryside). my friend also has ID mobile and facing same issues too. How can I get ID mobile second line support to confirm if they are indeed receiving my OTP from BT but unable to forward it to my number? Thanks for help in advance
I am a new customer and I am not receiving OTP text messages from my bank or another company. please help!
I switched to ID Mobile a few months ago. The temp number is still showing in my message settings but I ported my old number. How do I change it and get rid of the temp number? I can’t receive texts or OTPs because of this

I have just switched to ID Mobile. I am currently not able to receive OTPs (one time passcodes) for a number of apps - these include banking and security apps. They have my correct number and I am able to receive normal messages. Please advise.
I’ve read through a wealth of people having the same problem but I don’t seem to be able to find an actual answer anywhere - to the point I’m close to throwing my phone at a brick wall. Last Friday (16th Aug), I took out a new contract with ID Mobile in store at Currys - This was for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was previously with EE and have had Samsung phones for the past 12 or so years. Finally, yesterday, the number finished porting over and I am now receiving calls and texts absolutely fine. The device registers (and so does iCloud) that my phone number is the correct number that I have ported over. However, I do not seem to be able to receive OTPs from companys. I use 2FA across a lot of apps, the main one being my bank (Santander). I cannot log into the Santander app on my phone as I cannot receive the OTP. I also cannot log in on my PC/Laptop because there are 2 options - SMS OTP (which I can’t receive) and “Authenticate in the mobile app” which I cannot do because I can’t log in.
New iPhone 15 and ID contract with physical sim and New number phone working perfectly. since the port of my old number can no longer receive OTP from my bank and other apps inc apple. my phone will not verify my phone number. I have tried every conceivable solution found in internet and on the screen share with apple customer services and replacing the physical sim with an eSIM to no avail. I am convinced that since resetting my old iPhone 11 and selling it on eBay somehow it still shows as a device on my appleID with my phone number connected to it. I think that’s creating a conflict trying to use the same number in 2 devices and be of security settings I cant delete the old phone from my account unless I’m using said phone. I’ve even emails the new owner via eBay but they are not responding. apple disagree but can’t solve it. Id as a last resort can I be given a new phone number please and see if that solves it.
I am trying to log in to get a new Esim but it wants to send me a OTP but the phone is lost and so I cannot receive text….that’s the whole point of needing a replacement Esim
Hi, Since Saturday three different companies have sent me OTP’s but none have been delivered, tried multiple times, texts between me & my family send & arrive as normal, anyone able to get to the bottom of it?, have tried Live Chat twice today and it is utterly useless.
Hi I lost my simcard which I used its number to registered for some aacounts and application so I need to change those number , in order to do that I need an OTP which only appears on my lost simcard any help

Hello, I can’t receive one-time-passcode (OTP) SMS from an Italian identity provider called PosteID, which is used to log in securely to public services in Italy. I’ve tested other similar Italian services / identity providers and received their SMS without any issue, so it seems specific to certain senders. I contacted live chat support and was advised to increase my bill cap and reset my network settings. I followed both steps, but the issue hasn’t been resolved. I have also double checked that the number in my iPhone 17 is correct, and that it matches what PosteID has on their system. For context, I’m now using an eSIM with my iD Mobile number (+44 7…). I can receive normal SMS messages from the UK and from other countries, so the problem appears to affect only some messages from this provider in Italy. It seems possible that some international OTPs, perhaps those sent from shortcodes, are being blocked at network level. Does anyone have any suggestions? From what I’ve seen on the f
I just moved to ID mobile but having issues with OTP messages from abroad. I double checked the number is correct, checked the blocked numbers as well but not recieving any OTP messages. Kind regards, Yana
The Indian Bank IT team have provided me a screenshot from their end which says the sms has been delivered to Vodafone but I do not receive it on my mobile number. Senders number is +91 80 4511 5000 - is it possible that it is being “blocked” by some filter within ID/Vodafone systems? I confirm I have sufficient spend cap, premium services and international roaming enabled on my account. I am able to receive sms from other Indian banks.
Hi, I am on holiday in Europe with international roaming, lots of data, Wi-Fi etc, notifications coming through but not OTPs from bank, normally get them no problem at home. Any ideas?
Just joined ported over a number on end of August - I still can’t receive OTP from Verisure company but I can received from various apps such as banking and eBay. Any ideas please?
This started with my son’s phone which I have on my account. New SIM was sent but linked to the wrong number so actually deactivated my SIM instead of his. I now have the new SIM in my phone and now can’t receive OTPs. As this is now two phones I have that can’t receive them I’m very concerned it’s a much wider issue than just one faulty SIM. Can anyone advise?
Hi, I have been on to HSBC several times over the last few weeks as I am unable to receive an OTP to get into my bank app. They have suggested I contact my provider - after checking my number several times. Please can you check that they’re not blocked? Regards 🙂
I just got sim and I tried to set it up and I needed OTP number which is not coming through despite receiving text message from friends. There is no contact number for customer service and I don’t what to believe I have made a wrong choice in choosing ID mobile unlike my last provider that you can put calls through for help. I chat up someone and I was told the technician will get back to me within 48hrs. Today make it 7days after and still waiting. Please I need help because I don’t have extra money to pay If I can’t manage my spending and I go over my limits
I have not been able to receive OTPs on iPhone 15 for months, leading to issues logging into banks etc. I have tried resetting nwork settings and my phone settings show my cirrect phone number with no eSIMs etc.
