id phone network is rubbish, cant connect to internet outside of wifi network

Since recent 3 network problems, I am only connected intermittently To network and am frequently without internet connection. All usual , reboot, remove an clean simm. Still not happy. Local shop checked simm in different phone, same symptoms . New supplier?. 

I have received my new phone today with new sim and number which I’ve had to use to activate my account but I’m due to keep my old number from my previous contract which isn’t swapping over till the 1/7/25, will this just happen?Can anyone help with how this works, Thank You. 

Hi I had an outstanding bill to pay which IV done will my number be active again

I have ended my current contract but I want to maintain my number please. And I want to take a new contract.

This can then be amended at any time by yourself. This isn’t something iD would change without a request by you. You can view and amend your bill cap on the iD app.It is unfortunate that your handset automatically connected to an Albanian network which was chargeable. You can switch off automatic network selection on your handset. When this is switched on, your SIM will always search for and connect to the best network for you.

I'm a bit thick, does Bulgaria come under the free roaming charges please? Because I'm stuck cuz too many people have that. They've got charge extra for using data abroad, for Text and phone calls as well I would really appreciate it. Thank you, and the title was supposed to be roaming not swimming. They won't let me change it

I have unfortunately been on this network for 7 months and I say it was a mistake. The data are speeds are like dial up in the 80's! Never above 5Mbps download and 2MBps upload! That's on 4G network hardly any better on 5G. Unusable service wish I had got out with the 14 days and gone to proper network.Seems a popular thread has anyone ever found out why?  

Hi everyone. So I bought my Id contract in April but only just ported the number over last week  I did put the sim in the phone once but did continue to use my old sim until that contact ended I noticed last night that my iMessage wasn’t working then noticed the numbers in my number and also in my Apple ID under security and sign in, email and numbers was wrong and also under send and revive so I reset my network and this solved this issue and all numbers were then correct  but iMessage still wouldn’t work but what I did notice was under my Apple ID email and phone numbers it says unavailable for iMessage and Face ID then if I click on this it says something like no sim connected to number or somethingI’ve since tried a new blank sim and still nothing.  I’ve restarted, reset double checked everything this seems a very common problem with id mobile and luckily for them I’m last my 14 day cooling off due to my own fault

Hi Sian it’s still not working even with restart. It’s an eSIM. I’m just disappointed I’ve had no update from iD and still no switch.

We have inserted the SIM into our son's phone but despite trying several things, the network is not recognised. He cannot use his new phone. Is there anything we are doing wrong, or that we can try?

Had problems with the port and deleted eSIM to get again. Requested a new eSIM and after 3 hours. Still no email, currently got no service.  please advise

i have unlimited data, however, i want to find out how much data i have actually used..  as when i renew contract i may downgrade to 500gb data.  to save money  

My ID mobile  data does not work with full signal - it has been like this now for over a yr - I have one more year on my contract and I know it will be the same. I have done all the usual checks to make sure everything’s ok with my iPhone - my phone is perfectly fine!! I have found this to be an issue no matter where I am in the country UK. I use WiFi more than I’ve used my unlimited mobile Data. It always seems to be the same story such as the masts are down or working upgrades in the area - but if this is the case then it’s the whole country. I would expect this to be a  thing of the past since we’re in 2025. It’s real frustrating that you don’t get what you pay for which is not a small amount - its not like you can just simply change providers when your latched into a contract, but yet, the provider gets paid on time, every month due date by direct debit which always works for them. I think my best option in 12 months time is to go contract free and pay as you go - that way i can

I have just upgraded my sim only to a phone subscription now. There is an offer for a free watch, but the link doesn't appear to work. Has anyone else had issues, and does this need to go to customer service agents to resolve?ThanksJeff

I've been having problems with my ID Mobile data connection and ability to make phone calls for the past 7 days.  I've been on the network since February 2025 and the connection was great but now unable to read to load an article or do anything. I have tried switching phone off and on but makes no difference and need the connection as have young kids so need to be contactable at all times.  There are others in the area that have the same issue.  When will the issue be resolved and when can I be compensated or can I be excused from the 24 month contract as need network connection and the ability to have phone calls. How do I speak to someone at ID Mobile to resolve this issue.

I accidentally double ordered a new contract phone. I was advised by a online advisor that it was too late to cancel the order and to just accept 1 parcel on delivery and reject the other one so that it would be returned. I now have 1 new phone but don't know which number is assigned to it. I have tried getting through to someone via the chat but am not getting anywhere.

What's the problem with ID yesterday and today if I am not in wi fi covered I can't make any calls as well receiving. Same happened last week. Why do we pay? 

HiI'm really worried now cause I cant seem to get a fix for this. The only thing I can think of is I got a new handset not long ago but now I cant receive OTP from any of my banks.Ive just entered a new 2 year contract with ID so its not like I can cancel and change my Network. I cant do any banking right now so any help is appreciated

Hi all. I’m still caught up in this outage BUT my physical Sim  seems to be  completely missing from my phone, is this the same as everyone else? The phone is  a Pixel 6, and when I check the  main  Network and Internet Settings  no SIM at all is listed and the phone is asking me to  ‘Add a Network’.  The  ‘settings’ tab in the Call app itself are  blank on the’Make and Recieve calls’ tab. No icon for a network at all and a the home screen just says  ‘No Service’I’ve restarted the phone, turned Airplane mode on and off, etc etc. The physical sim is still in the phoneIs this just part of the outage or has my SIM/phone died  at the same time?  Anythoughts on what to do next?
