Had Phone + Sim Contract with ID for 2 years, purchased a new SIM only contract, how to keep number?

Hi I’ve been on a contract with ID Mobile for 2 years for a phone plan and for paying for an iPhone 12.My contract is coming to an end next month so I’d like to change over to a SIM only plan to save some money.Today I purchased a Sim only contract (25GB unlim sms+calls), I understand about PAC code usage for when swapping between networks, but was wondering is there a different way for transferring my existing phone number to my new SIM only plan as both are under ID Mobile? Thanks

double charged

To whom it may concern: Hi, nice day. This letter is in response to a recent transaction. I received two charges of £33.04 on my monthly contract yesterday. Initially, it claimed that the payment failed, so I tried again. When I checked my balance, I noticed that two payments had gone through, and the ID mobile app showed that two payments were made successfully on the same day. Please grant me my return for the second payment.

pac code didnt work

I recently switched to ID mobile, I was given a new number and told I needed to get my PAC code from my old provider to keep my number.I did this and it said it had switched, the phone now has a primary and secondary number (my old number ending 0784 and new number ending 5115) my old number is listed as the primary one and is the one that can be found on my ID mobile app. However it doesn’t appear to have any signal or connection?? Instead my secondary number is the only number I can dial out on or be called on.Please can someone advise on how to fix this as I can’t be contacted in that number and the bank need to ring me for me to get access to my online banking 😭😭😭 absolute nightmare

When registering with the id app for the first time do i have to use the email that was used when buying the phone as this isn’t mine it is the person who bought me it or can i use my own??

INCORRECTLY TOLD CAP REACHED

I make little use of my phone and am on the cheapest tariff. I have 215 mins left on phone, 5000 texts left and 1.9 of data. My next payment is due in two days. Why why am I told I’ve reached my cap limit - I can’t make calls.

cancelled sim only on chat but still sending me bills

Cancelled SIM only contract as went into Currys and had new phones with id. We cancelled through chat. Now having bills for simcard and a debt recovery agent is involved. We printed chat. Just very frustrating never been in debt before. It's just so confusing. I phoned up debt agency they gave a number for id but I need a pin to continue. I have looked through emails cannot find a pin. Cannot even sign into id

Hello,My services tab says I have International Calls enabled however when I try to phone abroad I am told my cap limit does not allow it. When i check my cap I don’t have one. So what am I doing wrong?Thanks

Faulty Iphone 15

So  I recieved my order the 9 of March, I used phone for a while and battery can’t last even 3h with also huge keyboard usage problemsI chat to ID Mobile to return and I get a return number but any email confirmation or information, I over ask and I got said I can return and cancel contract and get refundBut it seems and I feel like I will return phone, I will lose phone, expensive screen protector and I will get a bill of it losing all and being in problems for get a BROKEN PHONECan I get clear what to do? Thank you

cant register on ID mobile

I am new to id mobile, my new phone has my old number already transferred.  To register with id mobile I put in my own transferred number but it didn't know that (although that's the number on my phone) so I tried to register with the phones original number but it then sends the 8 digit pin to that number . Obviously I don't have that number so I can't retrieve the PIN as I don't have that number,  any idea?

Help - Service / SIM not working!

HiCan anyone help with this?I’ve put I a new SIM (they sent another one to try) but I still have no service on my phone ;/.   Could it be because I have something called an  E SIM also on my phone? No ideas why the new SIM has not worked… in an apple 15. thanks

Delay in Porting

Have been reading about so many number porting issues, seems to be a bit of a lottery, as my wife and son have had no problems so far. I should have had my Vodafone number ported to iD yesterday and even though my Vodafone number and account has disconnected, porting has yet to happen. Contacted various live chat agents yesterday (got cut off twice) who after suggesting it was a PAC issue with Vodafone, later admitted there was a “porting issue!!” found on my account and that Technical team would expedite my problem but take up to 48hrs to resolve. I did lodge a formal complaint last night which takes up to 7 working days to be looked into! My question is has everyone had their porting issue resolved eventually or should I be considering the fact that my old number is lost forever and I will have the laborious task of informing everyone I have contact with of a phone number change.

divert calls while abroad

I’m off to Vietnam for 2 weeks, if I divert my uk phone no to my mates number will I still get charged roaming charges (£6 /min) while there? thank you

Getting the 'Sorry your service does not allow access to this number" again

My calls are getting cut off and trying to call someone this morning I got the above message.This happened in Jan and apparently happens periodically. When will it be fixed- permanently- otherwise I may need to find a new provider.

pac code

Hi, I’ve requested a pac code from my previous provider they have given it to me, I’ve entered it and got a message from id to say it has successfully been changed. I checked my id account and it’s confirmed there, I reset my phone but my number still reads as the new id contract number. What do I do?

Can I port my existing number to iD Mobile at a future date (not immediately) ? I am currently with Three network and like to keep using my old number on Three network for now. I like to make a decision in future to move my old number on to iD Mobile. Is that possible to do in a future date?

Want to get out. Disgusted by the services

After years, I moved from Vodafone to ID mobile and my world came crashing on me. 5G or 4G? Terrible speed. So many times internet not working. Calling someone? Well I haven't been able to speak to NHS, GP, Bank, Insurance company pr anyone else on the phone properly since I moved to this joke of a network. I want to get out without paying charges. I moved to ID mobile in October 23 (how can I forget thay dreadful month?). Once I contact customer service (boy that was a struggle to find customer service or a human to chat/speak with). The genius from customer service told me to reset my Network settings etc. It didn't help. I have a phone with this terrible SIM card but I don't have a phone. Can someone guide me to get out of this contract? ID Mobile is in breach of contract anyway for not providing me the services they are chatging me for.
