porting issue

Hi could someone help. i am trying to port mine and my daughters mobile numbers from BT to ID.  I have managed to change my daughters no problem. But have been unable to change mine.i have tried twice without success. I requested a different PAC code from BT and tried again but this hasn’t worked.i have looked through the community answers and can not find the solution. ID seem to be having some issues because I can not find the chat function, I have tried Facebook messenger but didn’t get a reply. any help greatly received

Is EU roaming working?

Hello community, I want to find out if others have been able to use EU roaming as usual recently abroad? I last went abroad October 2023 to mainland Greece, and I couldn’t use any mobile data, calls and texts were fine, and I had all of the roaming settings on my phone, I made sure. I had to use my partner’s hotspot or other WiFi the whole time we were there.  I’m due to go away to Belgium in April and I’m really worried about history repeating itself and I won’t be able to access any mobile data, I just want to be reassured that my phone will be okay with mobile data otherwise again I will have to rely on my partner’s hotspot. thank you!

Number not recgnised

Since last night I haven’t been able to receive text messages or phone calls. I can make calls and send messages.  I have been on the online chat 4 times, picked up a replacement sim, refreshed numbers on messages and phone, refreshed the network but without any luck.  when people call they get a message to say my number is not recognised 😭

Appalling Cellular Service

Since changing to ID mobile my cellular calls have become almost non-existent.  Given we cannot contact any ID Mobile representative directly I am concerned as to how we are expected to report such issues?  On requesting to cancel my ID contact I have been informed I have to pay for the remaining contract length yet such issues were not prevalent within the first week and cellular calls aren’t typically more than a few a week yet in the past few weeks I have had to receive numerous business related calls and am persistently having to apologies!! Not great iD Mobile / Currys / Three.  5G network is awesome, until it’s not, then 4G seems to be unusable too. So that’s Cellular and NON-5G which are appalling.

International Roaming Charges / Data Cap

Hello- I purchased an eSim for data roaming abroad (Peru) and have used 1GB of data from this. However, when I have checked my home ID SIM data usage in my device settings (by chance), it states that I have used 18.62 GB of data in 7 days. I don't know how this could have happened as I have kept my phone on airplane mode for most of the trip and just turned on data when needed to look for restaurants etc. I have a Google pixel 5a. Any advice on roaming charges, as the website states £15 per MB for use in countries not listed in the inclusion. I have calculated that the rate will be £279,600 according to the roaming charge. How is this possible? I have a cap on my account of £3 and have been told by the chat bot that this will have kicked in, so the most I would have to pay will be £3. However, this contradicts the information on the website. Any advice would be much appreciated, as I am travelling for the next 5 weeks and this is causing considerable stress given that I am not able to

how can this be?

i do hope an employee at id see this post.i received my new contract phone and sim through the post tuesday, since then nothing has worked, no signal, no number port, no matter how i try to remedy things i hit a brick wall, absolutely nothing i can do. HOW CAN A MOBILE PHONE COMPANY NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER?so my question is, what do i do? i have a contract with 3 which was supposed to end with the port of my number, i have a contract with id which does not work. this can’t be how things run in 2024, i believe its all down to the severely botched it systems which is why nothing works, no app, no my id ect. this has become a massive headache, not just for me but it seems for thousands of people across the country, and yet absolutely no way of resolving it.

travel to america

Hi. I was wondering if there’s any add ons I can purchase for my holiday to America next week? Obviously I don’t want to be stung by ridiculous roaming prices etc and I know other companies offer things.  Would be handy to speak to someone but as a new customer to IDmobile, it appears this isn’t possible.

End of contract email

Hi, I've recieved an email to say my contract is coming to an end and if I want to stay with iD I can 'Do nothing and keep your existing service for £47.61 per month;', but I thought I'd paid the contract up in full so I should be able to stay with iD and pay nothing?

id have not kept my existing phone number

They said 7 days ago they were going to do it.This was after a day of trying to get them to do it.They still haven’t done it  can’t contact they as can’t login to App - they send a code an hour after requesting it so when I enter it’s invalid.What do I do?

billing help.

Hello, I switched over to ID mobile in January and for two months now I have been paying £50 instead of £33.99. I am aware of the 4% increase from April but 1) 4% extra on my bill should only be a couple of pounds and 2) I paid an extra £14 last month too. Can you please help me before my bill is due on the 15th as I shouldn’t be getting charged this month. I am unlimited everything too.

unlimited calls and texts, but bill cap used

Hello,  I have a plan with unlimited calls and texts plus 60gb of data (I have 67gb remaining due to the rollover from last month). I have just received a message saying that I have used 100% of my cap, but have not been using my phone differently to the last few months. As a side note, all of my bills are up to date and I haven't had any problems with the direct debit going out. Are you able to "unblock" my phone so that I can continue using it for the second half of the month?  Thanks in advance

Handset delivery delay nullified redeeming offers

Very annoyed as a newbie to id mobile that the offers I signed up for when pre-ordereing my Galaxy S24+ were refused by Samsung as:1. I couldn't redeem the offers within their time frame as my handset was delayed and only received on 27 March confirming the IMEI number required by Samsung. 2. Despite receiving my handset on 27 March and completing the redemption immediately as the offer ran from 31/01/24 - 27/02/24 and we had until 27/03/24 to redeem.3. I then discovered that Samsung required my redemption application within 30 days of my contract start date which was not communicated at all by id mobile as there was no communication issued as to status of pre-order, etc.4. My contract start date is 9 Feb, my invoice is dated 26 March and my handset was received 27 March with that illusive IMEI number. Samsung were unhelpful. Id mobile have been unhelpful. Frankly frustrated as I thought that the offers were great and enticed me to upgrade my handset and move to id mobile. I was reason

Poor 5ghz Wifi speed

Just got my Moto g84 yesterday. Great timing as the id mobile app isn’t working as I’m sure you all know. Anyway, doing some speed tests I notice the phone cannot do more than 320mbps on the 5ghz wifi band. My old Pixel phones (3 and 6) would do 500+ and 800mbps night and day on my 1ghz connection. My router is homemade, running OPNsense and using a Ubiquiti U6 Pro to do the Wifi duties.

Number Porting

I joined iD mobile yesterday and my existing o2 number is due to port to iD today. Any idea as to when this will happen so I don’t have to carry two phones with me?Secondly I cannot set up my iD mobile app as unavailable which seems to have been going on for 8 days now. When will the app be available? As a new customer I am not very impressed at the moment!

Some landline calls being disconnected

I have been with ID mobile since February and all of a sudden I find I can’t call my gp surgery or my dentist. I haven’t experienced this before I am on unlimited plan and the area codes are included.this is so inconvenient and I tried to get to the bottom of this issue via chat but to be honest it was a waste of time as they were none the wiser as to what the issue is.Any help, advice greatly appreciated please.

Updated ID App

I have uploaded the NEW ID Mobile App and gone through everything but then right at the end it asks for my mobile number, surname and date of birth which I have completed several times and it keeps coming back saying oops something went wrong can you try again??Can someone please help and assist me as I now cannot log into my app to check the data left, current bill and details etc?Let me know ASAP please.Kind regardsBilly Maserobillymasero@gmail.com[REDACTED]

switching from another provider. which sim card?

Hi,I am switching from EE and have today received my new iPhone with new sim.Am I using the new sim or continuing with the old one?I did all the PAC details when ordering the contract so I could keep my old number. When putting the new sim in today it’s a different number. I then tried the PAC stuff again, as per this site but it said there was a problem.

I cannot find any way to change my PAYG plan to Monthly plan

I follow the instruction :“To change your plan, log in to the iD Mobile App or My Account online, go to the 'My Account' page, 'Manage my plan' and select 'Change my plan'. You can then choose a new plan from the ones listed, and click 'confirm'.  Your plan, including your new monthly line rental and allowances will change within 30 minutes of your request.”But I cannot find the “Manage my plan” option, see anyone can help?
