New SIM

My iD SIM has arrived and seems to be working but signal in top left of screen is switching between iD 4g and iD WiFi call. Is this a setting problem?

Sizeable Charges within Coolling Off Period?

Hi. I’m trying to cancel my Sim Only contract (ordered online) well within the 30 day cooling off period. I’ve tried to do this a couple of times via Live Chat but getting quoted a sizeable cost for doing this. It doesn’t seem to make sense. I haven’t actually received the SIM yet (ordered 3 days ago) so I know it has not been used. No idea how to escalate this to get this resolved so was hoping someone could advise/help.

In my account I can only upgrade to a new handset

So I am happy with my handset, and was looking at getting Sim only, but in the back end I only have an upgrade option that offers me a new handset with contract.  Any advice?

3G Network closing end of April 24 phone incompatible

I have just had a text from iD mobile advising my phone will stop working by the end of April 24 as it using the 3G Network. As far as I am aware the phone is 4G compatible but does not appear on the list of accepted phones. My phone is a unihertz Jelly 2E which is a VoLTE over 4G. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi my name is Daniel dumbridge Your try to take the money for my phone bill yesterday from the bank but the money wasn’t there and I pay it this morning but it’s taking it from next months bill. I had a text message about 1 hour ago saying there to to try again in about 5 days I have paid it today 45.30

New SIM, no number

I have transferred from Smarty and bought a new iPhone 15 with an ID mobile SIM. I’m trying to register the IDMobile SIM, but haven’t got an actual number on any paperwork or emails. There was nothing on the SIM packaging either. I’ve tried checking the “my number” in settings, but my old number comes up. I’m absolutely stuck.

Can’t text

So I’ve recently joined iD and switched my number over using a PAC code.I have no issues receiving calls/ texts (that I’m aware of) but I cannot send text messages. I’ve checked my iMessage settings and they’re all linked to right number.Do I have a faulty sim?

China Beijing Roaming

Landed in Beijing yesterday, cannot get WeChat, WhatsApp or messages to work. I had a message from ID mobile on power on saying I’ve used 80% of my bill cap. I added £10 but still nothing. What do I need to do to be able to send/receive messages from my UK ID mobile SIM card in Beijing? 🤔

Please I am begging for someone to get in contact with me to cancel my sons contract.I am now getting threatening letters and now affecting my credit score and paying for a phone that we no longer use!!!!  This has cost me a fortune.I cannot speak to a single person and cannot do this online!I would like someone to call me asap and cancel this mobile - this has been going on since last year!It is having a massive impact on my finances!

phone calls from spain

Can't phone a landline from Spain, my roaming is turned on , when I phone I get a message saying this number is not assigned to a client, tried live chat but don't seem to be able to speak to a human only useless chat bots any ideas

Hi my phone has not been on for over a week I’ve noticed you’ve not took the money out my bank account when it was there? Is there any sort of problem? I can’t get onto the app to pay it says please bear with us. I have never paid it through the app it normally just comes out of my bank so I don’t know what’s going on?

Couldn't find my contract expiry info

After the new update that this mobile sim company has made, it seem clean and organised. However, I bought a sim back in april 15th for 24 months. My sim is due to expire later this month but I can't seem to find my sim expry info. I looked through my billing and plan section but nothing. The other version was alright but this one? Not really. Alternatively, do I get an email which will let me know that my contract has ended and even via sms? Thanks!

WHEN IS MY NUMBER SWITCHING?!!!!!!!

I provided my PAC number almost a week ago when I signed up to iD. I was sent am email confirming my switch date of 11/04/2024. It's now after 11pm and my account still has the number given by iD. This is turning out to be the worst experience. My contract with my previous previous provider has been cancelled, I cannot use my old number as it has not switched yet and I DON'T WANT THE NEW iD number. I've been with my old number for over 15 years and I've switched providers over those years with no trouble at all. My contract with iD has started yet I can't use any of their services because my number has not switched. I've been unable to talk to any human. It looks like this is a common thing. This is for any iD humans out there when is my number switching?!!!!!!! I need to cancel if this doesn't happen very soon. I don't want to change my number to the iD number.

Having difficulty claiming the voucher for Refer a Friend

Hi 👋 I would be grateful for some help. I have gone through all the right steps on the Refer a Friend scheme (the one where we both receive £30 curry’s voucher) but I am having trouble:a - finding the account number that I have to submit to claim the reward b - when I try to click the link in the email iD sent, it just takes me back to the original Refer a Friend sign up page and I’m just going round in circles.Please could a member of the iD team message me with how to sort this out. Also, I’ve been trying to sort this for many days but the iD website and app have been ‘unavailable due to technical issues’ - I hope I’m not out of time as that would feel unfair!

WiFi calling on iphone 13

I have a new iPhone 13, just joined ID. No matter what I try I am unable to have WiFi calling. Any clues please? I have obviously enabled WiFi calling on my phone, have full fibre so no problem with band width. Help?!

Charged while roaming in EU

I am a new customer to ID Mobile and I recently visited an EU country. When I got back home I noticed I had been charged for roaming. My roaming tab was turned on on the ID Mobile app on my phone. I spoke to someone at ID customer service and she said that when I arrived in Italy I should have “linked up my phone with one of the ID Mobile partners” - but I haven’t got a clue what she meant, and she did not explain it very well. Could someone please explain what I need to do when I arrive in an EU country to ensure that I don’t get charged for roaming. Thanks.
