switching to idmobile but chose E sim but it’s not compatible with phone so now have a physical sim (from currys) but i cant seem to complete switch. Not sure which mobile number to put as physical sim doesnt have one. tried the esim number but that didnt work. how do I complete the switch, I have my pac and have contract in place (bank details sorted) but now what?

How can I get a new QR code for my esim? I have a new phone and need to transfer?

More than a week later and I still cannot make calls - have tried everything been on a chat call twice to no avail - advised I was considering moving back to old provider and was told thanks could you leave me feedback!

I recently broke my Galaxy A20e which I got as part of a deal with iD mobile a few years ago.I bought a refurbished replacement of the same make and model. I’ve put my sim card in and I cannot make or receive calls. I can send/receive texts just fine and the WiFi is working. I’ve tried all the steps in the following article twice but no success. Any advice?

I’ve had my new phone for a month. I don’t have a normal SIM, just an eSIM. Is it normal that, whenever I power my phone on, do I get a message that says “Tap to update SIM info. This will check for new and removed SIMs. eSIM 1 will disconnect for a few seconds while your SIMs are updated”.

For several years I’ve been on the ID Mobile network with a number of Google Pixel phones. I’ve just bought a Bigme Hibreak Pro -- I needed a phone that works in bright sunlight -- but I cannot get the SIM card to work in the new phone. I’ve tried modifying the APN settings for the SIM card in the new phone so that they match the settings in my current Pixel phone when using the same SIM card. Any suggestions? Many thanks Gavin

I have switched to ID mobile a couple of months ago but I cannot receive OTPs on my Iphone.

I am having trouble receiving sms messages to activate accounts. I think this is because the Id mobile number won’t change in the settings to my mobile number I transferred across. Really frustrating.

I am not getting any OTPs. It looks like a lot of people are having these issues. I have followed the steps advised in other posts such as network reset, RCS chat reset etc but none have helped. After turning the phone back on after RCS reset, I am not able to use RCS chat any more. It is trying to verify my number but not able to do it. Now I get the normal SMS messages but not get any messages sent via RCS. I have recently ported my number from another network on 6th May. Could it be an issue regarding the porting?

I spoke to somebody on chat two days ago after trying all the suggested recommendations which none have worked. They advised a manager confirmed there were issues which would be resolved within 24 hours, which I presume isn't true. Can this be resolved as it seems to be a common issue or is it something ID are unable to resolve as they are an essential part of having a mobile contract which cannot be worked around.

Hi - I have seen at least one other person have this problem and there is no satisfactory answer on the community. My verified by visa payments from my phone are all being declined and the bank says it’s because the phone switch to ID has not been done properly. Thanks for any help as this is really turning into a problem for me. Visa are declining every payment. Cheers

I have recently purchased a 100GB pay monthly plan from Currys and downloaded the Id Mobile app. In the app Your allowances Data remaining: 99.5GB/20GB - whatever that means Minutes remaining: Unlimited Texts remaining: Unlimited Your current plan 20GB Data <-------- Unlimited Minutes Unlimited Texts Please can anyone Explain this to me? Any help appreciated!!!

I have some strange activity on phone with battery, Data & WiFi usage 1: Extremely high usage 2: APPs that should be disabled still bleeding me dry 3: Battery drains fast & extremely slow to replenish 4: Work accounts, Captive portal, many Overlays, Random DNS 5: WiFi connects to Data, even when all disabled and many miles from home 6: In Data, I add name and it then applies the last 4* digits of my phone number (E.G. IssuesForMe 2884) and I can't remove the 2884. Google tells me this is some config setup to do with WiFi / Network accounts... I am lost with all this but someone is at it and resetting phone daily etc. losing photos etc. could be flatmate as WiFi etc all in open space Any help appreciated

I used an international sim in Marrakech. On returning to UK, despite reverting back to my iD Mobile UK sim, the phone number displayed under SIM 1 slot is not my number. I have tried a network reset but it is still displaying the wrong number. My UK SIM mostly works as normal but when I try to get a get through security to reset my vodaphone account, I am not receiving their verification text code.

Please help not receiving tx from bank or Visa as trying set up on new phone

My partner and I have just taken out contracts and phones with id. iphone 16 pro max, numbers ported from previous network easily enough. We are both having a nightmare getting banking apps and anything that requires a verification text code or two stage verification to work as we don’t seem to be able to receive the text. Normal text messages are going through. Ive spent half the day trying to get to the bottom of this, i have read lots of threads about the same problem here which just seem to end with no known outcome or fix. Ive chatted with the live chat, my partner has been on the phone with customer support, both seem to be oblivious to the cause and have directed us to do all the usual stuff. From what i gather, the verification text messages are not going through as they require another level of security to send properly, something that requires 2fa codes from technical support and that seems to be an ongoing problem with anyone transferring from another network to id. Neither of us has had any issues transferring networks before. Surely there is a fix for this ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

S23 This is the worse phone I've ever had. Battery dies twice a day. People can't hear me on voice calls. No signal a lot of the time. How do I complain about my phone and ask for a replacement.

Good evening, I closed my account following emergency heart surgery but really would appreciate being able to reactivate the phone number- is this possible please? I believe I closed the account in October 2024. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou
