Sim Card Managed Shows Unknown Number I switched to iDmobile several weeks ago, opting to keep my old number and even though I have rebooted the phone a number of times, plus put the sim card into both sim slots, the result is the same, meaning the phone doesn’t ring and I can’t receive calls. My phone is a Samsung A70, so relatively old but it was working find before. The old sim (with EE) was in sim 2, but this doesn’t work in either sim 1 or sim 2. “iD” shows up against the sim, so I assume the sim is ok and recognised, just the phone number is not linked. I can send and receive texts, but when I send the recipient doesn’t see a phone number. I can receive texts to my number ok. Going into the phone settings, About Phone, Status Information and SIM Card Status, this shows: Service State - In Service Mobile Network State - Disconnected Hope this sheds a bit more light on the problem. Please can you advise the best way to resolve this.
