A silly question no doubt, but as the man said, the only silly question is the one you did not ask. My current ID mbile 24 month contract ends soon and I’d like to upgrade to a newer version of phone. When I do this do I receive the new phone first before having to send my original one back, as I am thinking of how I will transfer all my files, apps etc over to the new phone?

I have upgraded to a new package but my number hasn’t transferred, it seems the new package has been set up as a new account. I must keep my existing number, can you help please?

Hello I would like to know when my contract had ended and what allowance I'm on right now.

What is the difference between "Get Double Data", "Get Over Double the Data" and "Get Extra Data" in the SIM only plans? I cannot find answers from the IDMobile Help portal. Also, there are some plans that don't have those extra data option displayed, however, the plan already is increasing or doubling the internet data for a 24 month plan. So what is the difference? I wanted to upgrade to a monthly plan for Iphone 16 Pro, 128G, Black Titanium. After looking online for the best deal on USwitch I found that ID Mobile actually has a cheaper plan than what I’m being offered as an upgrade. Upgrade - 100G, 24m plan, £44.99 with £179.00 upfront New plan - 500G, 24m plan, £43.99 with £99.00 upfront Can the upgrade plan be matched? Should I alternatively cancel my current plan and membership and buy the cheaper one directly? Thanks!

Is there a number to phone to speak to an actually human agent about upgrade options? I can only find the automatic phone line and I want to discuss my upgrade options with an advisor. Can someone tell me if there is a phone number I can call? Thanks

Hi, I've have a Google pixel 7a on contract until May 2025. I'm having battery problems. It's only lasting for around and hour, if I'm lucky, when in use. I don't use phone during the day at work but the battery is dead by the end of the day. Surely a phones use should last as long as the contract at least. I don't have loads of apps, don't play games, I only really use for emails, social media, and calls. Is there any rules when in a contract and when the phone is not working properly?

Hi, the iD mobile website says: “You can order an iD Pay As You Go SIM card online, over the phone, or at any Currys store.” I went into my local Currys last night and they told me that it wasn’t possible to get one in store, and that I’d have to go online, but I can’t see an option to just order/pay for a PAYG sim? https://www.idmobile.co.uk/sim-only-deals/pay-as-you-go Are these monthly prices, or are these just one offs? So, for example can I pay £6 for the 1GB package, and for one month get unlimited calls and texts and 1GB of data, but then cancel it for next month and then just start paying for what you use? I just got the sim about a month ago, and I am genuinely tired of their third class service. My unlimited data plan was about to end on 23rd November, so I topped up the balance required for the next purchase on 21st. Today I don’t have any data and when I checked my balance it showed 0.82. Basically, they don’t have any system to automatically renew the plan, on top of that they just stole the money from my account without showing any transaction. For the one hour, I talked to 2 agent describing the whole thing and got an sms that its gonna take 7 days to resolve the matter. Then, the agent said I need to wait 24 hours to get my money back and then they couldn’t help me with the plan renewal system or anything. I am completely out of patience, I borrowed my roommates wifi and standing beside his door to talk to their customer service. After this whole thing, they finally added the plan which I requested them to do at the very first. How’s it possible to do this every month? I went to

Hello, I purchased a Google Pixel 9 on 16/10 and applied for the £150 promotional trade in offer. I completed the form for this promotion as instructed. I received my payment for the trade in at the start of last week. I then received an email on 13/11 confirming the trade in payment had been sent over to me. On the email it stated: "If you have qualified for a promotion, we will send you another email in the next 24 hours confirming your promotion payment". I still haven't had this email and haven't had a payment either - however, I did trade in a qualifying phone for this promotion. I have contacted TradeUpHelp@currys.co.uk several times about this and have had no replies. Can anyone help please?

Hi. Sorry to bother everyone but this is my first ever upgrade with ID mobile as this is the first contract I've had with them. I have all the upgrade options on my app. I was just looking around to try and find the best Google Pixel 8 pro deals and came across one via u-Switch for ID mobile that is better than the upgrade option for the same plan benefits. I guess my question is, is there any wiggle room on the upgrade options to match deals seen elsewhere at all please? It's a significant saving of £9 per month. Both offers have 100gb data and unlimited texts and calls. Both are 24 month contracts. Apologies if a really stupid question. Any help appreciated. Thank you 👍

Hi, I have been offered an upgrade through the id mobile app for some time now. I decided to upgrade yesterday from a rolling SIM only contract to a galaxy s24 ultra and paid £299 upfront. I received an email this afternoon asking me to call a number, then spent 20 minutes on hold to find out I'm apparently not eligible for this specific phone, first being told I can only upgrade to a phone £30 a month or less, then being told it's actually £44.99 a month but not this specific phone. This doesn't sound right to me, and I can't find any information on the id mobile website about this. Not only that, the receipt I've been sent states I've paid £299.001, which would be one tenth of a penny? Can anyone give me correct upgrade information when upgrading from a SIM only contract, or point to where I can read it for myself? Thanks in advance.

I am due for an upgrade but when I click on all upgrade deals its not bringing up sim only deals it only shows phone. Can anyone please advise how if I can do this. Tia
