As in the title. I need a backup eSIM/SIM which I will very rarely use, so I don’t want to have to pay X amount every month to keep it. Like an old school PAYG setup, where I literally only pay for what I use. Thanks

Hi, I'm unable to add another mobile number to my account, to view bill etc. After entering number, surname and DoB, it states 'Sorry your details do not match our records'. Extremely frustrating. I've tried adding via app & online, same message. Obviously something must match as ID are debiting my bank every month.

Hello, Please I need help! My phone won't allow me to make phone calls, says it cant connect. My text and data still work. This has been an issue since February when I got a new phone and used same sim card. I have a Samsung phone. My settings say my mobile network state is disconnected. How do I get connected?

Hi Guys i have been wondering why everytime i Log-in to ID i am offered 24mth contract as a upgrade sim-only with 120gb data and unlimited calls/text for £10mth. My contract is 30days with unlimitd calls/text and 250gb data for £10mth. I just don’t understand why i would want a 24mth contract for the same money i am paying for a 30 day contract with more data. Can anyone explain IDs logik behind that upgrade please? Sorry the title should have been same money

My Pac was completed yesterday, I had ac onfirmation email but no text, I cannot receive text messages since yesterday, I have tried the turn on turn off remove sim etc, I am still not receiving any text messages.

Swapping back from another network to ID on iphone 16s no network signal displayed network signal displayed and when i spoke with ID customer service they said they could see it in cue on saturday!!! still not working. now don’t know what to do.

Hi, Are there any further updates regarding RCS on iD Mobile? Since this was rolled out in 2024 EE, 3, O2, Giffgaff, TescoMobile (plus unknown others) have all activated it for their customers. We’re trying to set up an Android/iOS messaging group and the iD Mobile member is the one making this impossible to achieve. She’s now looking at other networks that will offer this for her iPhone when upgrading later this year. Thanks

Been with Id mobile since November and my mobile data has never worked, maybe had 3 days of decent service the whole time, i contacted Id mobile when i first got my phone about this issue but it was never escalated or resolved, which resulted in a formal complaint. Nearly a year on and my phone still doesn’t work without wifi connection. Any advice as i’m sick of paying £50 p/m for a phone that doesn’t work??!

Since moving a year ago I can only make calls and connect to the internet on id_mobile in onr corner of my bedroom, bit of a shame my friends are on 2 other tariffs get strong signals. As I will end my contract in a couple of months just wondering if anything can be done as I would have otherwise stayed with Id mobile. I see there are devices called signal boosters but assume as they are expensive this couldn’t be offered as a possible solution.

Hi I was leaving idmobile and went to pay my final bill but I couldn’t access there on line account as they restricted my account and then phoned them and there automated phone line wasn’t working either it was only £4 bill but after months they said I have missed 2 payments and put it on my credit report the bill is gone know and I am in credit for £5 is there any thing I can do to get this off my credit report thanks

What network(s) in South Africa does ID mobile enable you to use when roaming there? I ask because reading one or two posts some people appear to have had issues with the “roam beyond” ID add ons that they’ve purchased - either not working at all or unsure which network they can / can’t use. Any & all help would be much appreciated. Ps. I know I can use free wifi and buy a local SIM for data when out there, however then I wouldn’t be able to receive text messages to my normal mobile number from the UK (my phone only has 1 SIM slot and I don’t think it supports Esims).

1/7/25 11am - Ive had no mobile network conntevtivity for the past hour or so. Calling via wifi assist is fine but usually have good 5G at home and at the moment there’s nothing. Have rebooted iphone a couple of times already. Any suggestions?

Over the past couple of months my bill shows premium rate text messages every few days at around 5pm at a cost of £1.50 each time. Checking my “recent” telephone calls I have received no such texts. I have tried using the iD lookup for the short form number which is 78484 but this doesn’t give details of the company involved. This is costing me a great deal of money ….. how can I stop it?

My plan is showing as disconnected on the ID app. Spoke to CS yesterday and they assure me it's all fine and live their end. Spent an hour and a half on webchat yesterday and this is still not resolved. Loaded app again etc. I believe when I've added the plan to my app it's picked up an old account I held with ID as the pin code was also different to what the CS advisor told me. Clearly it would be helpful if I can see my plan in the app but no one seems able to help on their Web chat which seems ridiculous. Any ideas? I've tagged you Matthew as you seem to have resolved this for other ID customers so hoping you can help me. ​@Matthew T

I can't redeem an offer sent to me via email. The offer was for Apple Music and Apple Arcade free for up to 3 months and when clicking the Redeem button it errors out saying “UID Missing or Incorrect”. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hi, Has anyone had this issue and been able to overcome it? Every time I click on the Apple Tv+ redeem link from my email it takes me to an Apple page that says "UID missing or Incorrect” and the page is a US Apple page. I've clicked on links that has been told to other posters with issues and same problem. Tried different browser and a different phone but still the same problem!

I’ve been trying to redeem apple offers Tv/music/arcade, but like others on this forum im getting error UID Missing or Incorrect when i click the links on the welcome email. The TV Link was missing from the email and instead Mcafe for 90 days (Which i wont be redeeming) I’ve tried to resolve with chat, however they’ve not been able to help and im quite shocked at their responses. Firstly they said they cant help and that i need to try and resolve this issue with Apple The second option was that they will cancel my contact and will refund what i’ve paid since joining. The third option was that they will give me 1 month credit on my contact, and not give me the offers. Does anyone know how i can get some help to get the working links for apple offers? I have tried the links on different browsers and different devices - Same issue.

I have two questions regarding payg.. Will my account remain active if I do not use or top up my sim? How does cancellation of payg work?

Hi, raising this as I have lost all hope here. If unfixed, I will just moved providers. Iphone 14 pro, my roaming has never worked. Roaming is on in the app and phone, and network provider also tick off from automatic. this is extremely frustrating to say the least, I travel all over Europe, Spain, Italy, Greece… never worked. any suggestions that can change my world?! thanks
