Yesterday I tried to call a large company regarding a kitchen gadget. The number is an 0800 number but I got an automated message saying that I'd reached my cap. I don't have a cap as far as I'm aware as I have unlimited minutes and I thought 0800 numbers were free anyway. No other mobile company has ever charged me for calling an 0800 number. I waited an hour on online chat and eventually spoke to someone who said that as it was a business number there would be charges of 45p a minute plus an access charge so I would need to set up a spend cap if I wanted to make the call. Is this correct? 

HiyaHave ported many times over the years from various providers with no issues…..Moved 2 days ago from GiffGaff to ID Mobile with new phone.  Old phone (with GG sim) still says ‘Giffgaff’ as network and SIM says my number although functionality lost - cant phone out, text, etc so something has worked. New phone (with ID Mobile SIM) absolutely fine and works and everything OK. Why is my old SIM showing GiffGaff still? I have phoned GG and they say I am not on their system anymore etc etc and as far as they are concerned, it has all gone through.ID Mobile say nothing wrong their end because it clearly all works (which it does).Why am I concerned? Should I just cut the GG sim up and assume its all gone through fine? I am concerned as to why my GG sim still shows it as a network signal?!?????Hopefully someone can help!(Ironically, this is also the same for my mum who has moved across as well the past 2 d

Is anyone else having problems transferring their old number from a previous provider. I was previously with 02 and obtained my PAC number from them and gave it to ID when purchasing my new phone. I was given a changeover date of the 31st December today, but nothing has happened. I eventually managed to get a live chat and was told that it would not transfer till the 2nd of January after 6pm?. I have an email from ID that clearly states the switchover date is today the 31st. Is this the norm with ID.THANKSALAN

I have just switched to this provider. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences that I have ever recieved from a mobile company.  I signed up for a new deal online paid the upfront fee and followed all the instructions using PAC to transfer my existing number to this network, and the new phone,  only to find out that they have the wrong mobile against my name, wrong email address, wrong date of birth.  I tried contacting them to put matters right, but was given another premium number. I am have now spent over £20 in excess of my call charges to out matters right.  I am left without a mobile phone, can’t make any calls send any messages, receive any calls etc.  Can’t even call the complaint department to log a complaint.  Not sure where I go from here. In the meantime I  am contacting my bank to put a stop to the monthly direct debit . If anyone has expereiced the same and managed to resolve it, please do let me know, as i am toally stuck!!!

Wonder if anybody can help. I've been having problems for a while making and receiving calls on my galaxy s22. I have found by swapping the SIM card from the number one slot to the number two it works fine. Anybody any thoughts on that

I reviewed several customer forums regarding contract upgrades offering free gifts, including my own experience. My order, placed on December 16th, 2024, included a Samsung S24 Ultra and a Nintendo Switch Lite (selected as an alternative to wireless earphones) with unlimited data, minutes, and texts for a upfront payment of £99, monthly set at £43.99. The promotional materials confirmed eligibility and guaranteed simultaneous delivery of the Switch with the phone. However, the Switch was not delivered. The ID Mobile website shows no record of this promotion. Other customers have reported similar issues, specifically citing ID Mobile's removal of several phones from the offer, substituting a Motorola phone, and now offering a Galaxy Notebook for purchases made between December 18th and 24th, rendering the original alternative gift inapplicable to my purchase as I was told I purchased my phone a day early for the notebook with no previous bundle existing.... why would I

Hi, I have been overcharged on my billing. I have a payment go out on the 27th of November, then another on the 5th of December and another today (30th of December) I changed my direct debit date and was told me next bill would be on the 1/02/25 and would be slightly more than my usual amount but they have taken money today, seems to be every 3 weeks or so. Can somebody advise?
