Two new agreements taken out for me and my wife, ordered on 23rd November, activated on 26th. But so many issues with activating in the first instance. Looking to exit within my 30 day cooling off period but online chat is telling me I owe £148. Finally she agreed to waive the £148 (although that should even exist in the first place). She’s sent a PAC code, but it still shows the fee!Please, can someone help me exit both mine and my wife’s contract PS: I left a comment on an old thread with the above but wasn’t sure if that was closed and thus wouldn’t get visibility, hence the new post

Good morning,I’m having a bad experience and wondered if anyone else has experienced the same. My contract ends in Feb 2026 so I’m now in the ‘upgrade’ windows so thought I would take advantage on a black friday offer. Firstly used the app and click ‘upgrade’ phone an offer I liked but then I got a pop-up to upgrade the data for no extra cost. I click that but it added £100ish to the upfront cost. I couldn’t see a way to go back so had to scrap that and use a proper browser rather then the app.So removed item from basket, clicked ‘upgrade’ again and selected the same offer.I didn’t realise at the time that it was setting this up as a new account, even though I 100% went through ‘upgrade’ whilst being logged in. I’ve never done an upgrade before and usually switch providers at the end of my contract and request a PAC etc. I thought the process would be the same on an upgrade but without an early exit charge (which was my misunderstanding).

Joined about a week ago and have discovered I am receiving no calls or texts yet I am able to send them to other people.I am in a fully 5G covered area according to the checker on this very website.I can not switch to a 4G signal on my phone.My handset is a relatively new handset - Samsung S25 5G, sold by yourselves (iD mobile), so should be perfectly compatible with your network/masts.Please fix my issue. I am missing multiple very important calls, because so far, your network is atrocious…To add to the mystery, barely 30mins after posting this I receive the ONLY text I have received in over TEN DAYS, from iD Mobile themselves, clearly from your own network, not an outside one like EE O2 etc.So I asked a friend to quickly try sending me a text, thinking it was working. The signal seems to be really poor where I live and in some places the connection is no existent. This was made even more noticeable when my internet went off the other day and i had to try and rely solely on my phone.Sitting right now it is 1bar 4g, at my daughter's dance class it is zero, and many other places along the M8 it is very poor.I want to transfer my number to a different provider, and then give this SIM to my son as I am happy to pay the remaining months, and he will use it more for emergency phone/message/tracking type thing. What is the best way to do this?

iD Mobile There is no ID mobile net work coverage outside .The phone never connects to ID mobile and only  connects to WiFi whem indoors 

My daughter’s phone is broken and cannot receive text messages. I want to cancel her plan (I am able to cancel from November). However I can’t do this online or via the app as a text message is sent to the phone and the phone can’t receive text messages. Is there a number I can call or an email address to cancel the plan?

I've been trying since last Tuesday - text 65075, use app, phone customer complaints, speak to agent in live chat. None work. Keep getting 'we've encountered an issue with your PAC request...'. they can't tell me what the issue is. So I've decided to cancel the contract and go to O2 without the code. It's annoying because I now have to reset the phone number in every account that uses it for ID. Very poor customer service 

can anyone help me to cancel my account? my contract started on 24 July 25, and i purchased it  online so i have 30 days cool off. but id mobile agent stated i must cancel via carphone warehouse. carphone warehouse say that as i’m outwith their 14 day cooling off, the cancellation needs to be done by ID mobile as they are not providing an effective service by there poor coverage.  ive been disconnected from agents repeatedly on live chat. can i contact someone by email? im worried my 30 days cooling off period will end before ive been able to make proper contact with id mob. hope someone can help. TIA    

As per the title and the same as the many many symptoms that other people have mentioned, I really don’t want to repeat them as you know what they are. Phone is a Pixel 10 Pro with all the latest updates and it doesn’t matter where in the UK I call from.  I’ve been through all of the suggested phone related issues.  Please help!!!

Why are the staff in Cape Town so rude, patronising and degrading? I have a contract due for renewal, and found it is more expensive to upgrade rather than be a new customer (so much for loyalty!!)I had the displeasure of calling Cape Town to discuss this and was met with a torrent of lies, and downright rudeness. At least two managers have admitted lying to me (on recorded calls) and numerous agents who simply do not listen and do not want to assist customers. Promise after promise not delivered, and even been shouted at by a manager. Does anyone have a phone number for the Executives Office as Cape Town have informed me they do not have a head office complaints team in the UK (they do, but they don’t want you speaking to them), its an Ofcom requirement and they say they don’t exist, all Cape Town want to do is deadlock

I'm with iD mobile under contract for another 18 or so months. The phone service is shockingly bad when I stay at my partner's address. Been through it all with them and no resolution. Letter of deadlock issued etc. Early termination fee around £450... using a PAC.However this means paying up for something I will no longer be able to access, effectively ending all ties with iD mobile. I will keep handset obviously that came with contract but lose all services despite effectively paying for them 'in advance.'  Alternatively, I'm happy to keep paying the monthly fee as agreed under contract and possibly get a new number from iD and use this in conjunction with a tablet for travel use.I want to keep my long term existing number for mobile phone use and go back to O2 who I know provide better signal in the area I have the problem. The only way I can see to do this is to request PAC and port number and initiate a new second co

I have requested a PAC code that stops working from 5th December but I haven’t given notice on. my account yet, which will be 30 days notice.  I need. to keep my phone number so what should I. do?

Good afternoon, I would really like to upgrade my phone however the phone I would like you have on your plans if I were a new customer but not as an existing customer. Is there anything you can do to supply the phone I like on the contract that would be suitable for me or would I need to leave and rejoin ID mobile to get the deal that I want. 

How do I get a member of the customer services team to deal with the issues I have with my phone? Is it even possible?  

I tried to resolve a problem with an order with the online chat and it has taken 4 conversations where I have been given the wrong information about an order cancellation. Each time I am on the online chat for around 40 minutes before I get any information.  Each time I am getting more frustrated with ID. Especially they ask what I am asking for even though it is in the chat and they reply incorrectly. I tried to complain and it opened up an online chat where they didn’t have any information and asked all the same questions with the same experience. Really frustrating. Where do you go when you don’t get the answers. All I want to do is get confirmation my order was cancelled. And have that confirmed in email, which they say will come but never does. 

Hi I am trying to log in to my account to cancel my sim as it’s out of contract but I only use it as data in my iPad so the pone is not connected to receive Tex so I can’t get in, this is very frustrating as there are no numbers to ring or I can’t find an email address to get in touch with any one, help would be very much appreciated 

I have been trying for a week to get a pac code to keep my id mobile number when my contract ends next week. I tried everything, through the app, using the shortcode and dob, and live chat - where I was basically lied to after being on chat for half an hour and told it was resolved and would come through shortly, only for the same error message! Message as follows: Hi JAMES, we've encountered an issue processing your PAC request. This could be due to required maintenance or an unexpected system issue. Please try again later. We apologise for any inconvenience - iD Mobile ID mobile, please assist urgently, I need this PAC code sorted! Regards

Hi I’m trying to end my contract with ends on 18th November but it’s stated that if I proceed my pac code will terminate please can someone explain if I do this will my number stop immediately ? Also how do I request pac code to keep my number.

Swapped from EE to id a few months ago. The signal is so bad, don't get any in work at all or if im in a shop or supermarket. It's basically pointless? Feel tricked and scammed as the coverage checker said good coverage. Feel like I've been misled

I purchased a new phone 2 weeks ago with ID mobile and have been using the phone for less than 10 days. I had a notification to say I have gone over my 10gb data and that I would be charged £10 on my next bill. I was with another provider for 5 years with 3gb of data that i never once went over on… I can’t seem to contact anyone at ID mobile to get this resolved as the only line of contact is the live chat and that is down and no one is responding on messenger. If I knew the customer service was as bad as this I would never have taken out the phone! I would like to cancel my contact and return my device. How do I go about this?

Hi there, I have been using ID mobile for a long time now, on the same data plan for ages. I have just over 2GB and this has always been Ok for me. However recently it seems that ID is counting my data wrong… and claims my data has run out very quickly recently. I have set my phone to track over the correct billing period to compare. My phone says that I have used just over 1GB over the same period that ID says that I have used nearly 2.5GB (I also bought an add on which ran over into the start of the month). (pictures attached)I have already spoken with the live chat and they were unable to tell me anything other than what is present on the appIt is very frustrating - I don’t want to upgrade as if the problem persists upgrading won’t help! (data will still be miscounted and run out fast) I may need to change providers if I cannot find a solution. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

I have tried to use the live chat automation bot, and after 7 unsuccessful tries I have given up. No phone number, or email. I simply want to cancel my contract within the 14 days I have for cool off, seems impossible!
