My old provider used to still showing in phone settings even though I had a PAC and I have been given a new ID number

Hello, I’m trying to redeem my free gift for purchasing the OPPO Find X9 through their website but the system isn’t recognising the IMEI number.The IMEI shown in the phone’s system status matches both the box and the device sticker, however when I try to dial *#06# I get the message:“Running USSD code… connection problem or invalid MMI code.” I’m guessing this may be why the website can’t validate the number?I’ve already tried the common troubleshooting steps (restarting the phone, checking for updates, switching airplane mode on and off, and manually selecting the network) but the issue is still happening.Could you please help or advise on what to do next?Thank you.

can anyone help me to cancel my account? my contract started on 24 July 25, and i purchased it  online so i have 30 days cool off. but id mobile agent stated i must cancel via carphone warehouse. carphone warehouse say that as i’m outwith their 14 day cooling off, the cancellation needs to be done by ID mobile as they are not providing an effective service by there poor coverage.  ive been disconnected from agents repeatedly on live chat. can i contact someone by email? im worried my 30 days cooling off period will end before ive been able to make proper contact with id mob. hope someone can help. Hi I have 2 phone contracts with you which are ending on 02/01/26 and 03/01/26.  I’m interested in staying with ID on SIM only 12 month contracts. How do I go about getting this sorted ? 

Hi All , I have 2 different contracts that are ready for upgrade. My wife and I are looking to upgrade to exactly the same phone and package. However , we do not need 2 chromebooks , which is what currently being offered as part of the deal. Does anybody know if it is possible for us to swap 1 of the chromebooks for something else? I would like to upgrade my plan next month. I wanna know what choices are available and I would like to know if I wanna get a better number. How is that possible?and why it’s so hard to get to speak to someone?

The onboarding emails state I should’ve received my temporary number in a welcome email or in an invoice.  I’ve not had either of these - any ideas?

This seems a recurring theme which is a concern. I transferred with an E sim from 02 to ID mobile. The data works fine. I can’t make calls as there is no ID mobile showing on network list and it's just stuck on 02.   I haven't got any help from the BOT. Phone is I phone 12 pro max. 

What has happened to my signal? I I always Home and then I now have nothing.  I now have nothing. There’s nothing I can see on any issues in the area And I can’t find For somebody to speak to any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I live in the countryside and generally have perfect signal, including 4G, but as soon as I venture into a town or a city (or even just a busy event) my phone becomes unusable - despite displaying ‘4G’. I cannot use the internet at all, and even old fashioned phone calls and texts become unreliable. It’s very inconvenient 😩 any suggestions please?

I am unable to receive sms from abroad (something that I really need for various reasons) but the supposed help is making things worse. In fact, i mentioned that several times on community mobile etc…but i keep receiving calls from id mobile (calls to which I cannot reply it seems) and i keep receiving these calls during working hours. Now I cannot answer calls during working hours as i do not have an official designated lunch hour and I work with extremely challenging individuals so answering calls during that time is not possible to me. Therefore, I asked if I could be called last weekend but nobody did. Can you please call when say you will and not when you are not supposed to? Also, could you sort my problem or gimme the chance to switch to a different provider that works?

I joined ID Mobile recently, on the Mobile Coverage Checker I'm supposed to get 4G inside and outside the house, and 5G outside the house nearby. However, I'm unable to get 4G at all from any room, upstairs or downstairs.When loading any website it can take up to 20 minutes to load. At random times during the day the signal might work (albeit terribly) for 5 minutes, allowing me to load a website in a few minutes.I noticed this after my wi-fi went down, my broadband will be down for up to a week.Has anyone else experienced the Internet checker saying you'll have 4G or 5G service, when in reality there is none whatsoever?I've tried the obvious fixes, restarting device multiple times and across multiple days, updating my phone, and fiddling with other Internet settings.I was recently abroad and got 5G signal, and when in a major town centre  so the SIM card must be working.Am I stuck being a dead zone, with potential mast issues?Using a

I have tried to complain several times, i just get ignored. I have a serious illness and my phone is my lifeline, i have missed important calls from doctors and hospitals, because i have no signal. Especially worst since they turned 3G off. Had no signal all day today.

A few days ago I posted a message on this forum about my sim not having been delivered. Soon after, I got an email from someone called Irene Morgan, who claimed to be from ID customer service. She asked for a number where she could call me, which I promptly gave her. I was then on the phone with someone who claimed to be called Jason. He asked for my details, including my credit card, which was supposedly needed for a deposit. Well, today I got multiple payments taken from Pakistan. Just to say: beware of scammers. If you get an email from someone claiming to be from ID customer service, it’s probably not them. I have seen other people on this forum mention Irene Morgan, so it is not an isolated accident.

Having purchased my Google Pixel 9a on the 05/07/25 via Carphone Warehouse (part of Currys)... I understand there should have been a £50 Currys voucher as part of the deal. I haven't received this and have been to my local store who have said there isn't a voucher linked to my purchase? I don't think this is correct and don't know how to resolve this?  

Hi, I have just got a new SIM card and the PAC transfer got sorted yesterday. It says I have 4G but I have no signal anywhere around my house. This means I can’t receive phone calls from people. I live by myself so I don’t have the option of using anyone else’s phone. I’ve tried the things you have suggested in other people’s problems.

I want to return the phone because the Samsung promotion starts on the 26th and I bought it for the promotion, and they told me I should contact you.

Ported old number from O2 to iD Mobile, physical sim - Cannot receive texts or calls to my number since the switch (Quite serious when I cant get any verification texts come through) - Still have service on my old phone with old sim attached - Yes I have read and gone through EACH of the community articles and completed every last step - Number will also not activate on iMessage - I am able to use 5G on iD Mobile, and I am able to use 3G on my O2 sim. Need a fix asap. 

New ID customer, changed from Vodafone (no problems).  Received SIM card, all worked except unable to send or receive mobile calls (can call on WhatsApp).  Did everything ID requested on the help line (over a few days).  Finally t inform the handset was the problem?  Bought new phone, same problem, requested I get a replacment sim, put the new sim in and same problem!  I just don’t know what to do.  

Hey my phone keeps going into unknown number on the sim thing and I dont know why.

I’ve changed contracts with ID mobile just for more data and now my direct debit payment doesn’t work. Every month it fails and I have to pay by card. My bank say it’s ID mobile issue. ID mobile threaten to suspend my account every month and I get sooooooo many text messages saying I have cancelled my direct debit - which I haven’t. How can I resolve this? Contacting ID mobile is very difficult - and on live chat they just say set it up again. That doesn’t work.
